Help me!

[edit]

Why did I get this welcome message now? I've been on Wikipedia for almost a year now. I'm confused.

Thatsme314 (talk) 00:36, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That's ultimately something Red Director will have to answer, but I assume they noticed that you hadn't been welcomed before and thought "better late than never". Thus, a belated welcome to Wikipedia! Huon (talk) 00:50, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Huon is right. I browse contributions of learners, and if they have not been welcomed, I will throw one their way. Sorry for any confusion. Red Director (talk) 00:59, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks guys for the quick response. @Red Director Keep it up! I feel very welcomed. Thatsme314 (talk) 17:52, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A brownie for you!

Thanks for your improvements to Continuous-time Markov chain! It's got fairly high views for a maths topic, so your work is important. — Bilorv (talk) 13:17, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Thatsme314. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Kolmogorov backward equations (continuous-time Markov chains), a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Drafts that have not been edited for six months may be deleted, so if you wish to retain the page, please edit it again or request that it be moved to your userspace.

If the page has already been deleted, you can request it be undeleted so you can continue working on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 07:03, 3 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Thatsme314. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Kolmogorov backward equations".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 06:53, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Robert Wood (roboticist), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages DOD and ONR. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

En dashes and hyphenated nationalities

[edit]

Hi!

Just a friendly tip that hyphenated nationalities should be hyphenated, not joined by an en dash.

Cheers,
