Welcome!
Hello, Templarion, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Reverting vandalism
Hello and thanks for reverting that vandalism on Empire state building. I've warned the offending IP on his/her talk page. Please feel free to warn users who blatantly vandalise wikipedia when you catch them in future. At the end of the day, its the only way they'll learn. Thanks and have a nice day! TheProf | Talk 21:01, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
When the original author of an article, espeically with issues such as notability, blanks their article page, it is common practice to then mark the page with the {{db-author}} tag, so that it can go away quietly. I reverted your reversion to the author's blanking, then added the {{db-author}} tag, so that it, again, can go away quietly. Cheers and happy editing! - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 14:14, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
Your comment to my talk page
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you!
(Note: This will also prevent the intrusive SineBot from correcting your mistake in such the invasive manner that it does, as it did to your comment on my page.) - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 14:39, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
I see your position, and understand your reasons. I'm really not a bad user, and I literally spent alomost all of Labor Day Constructing that article. It's just kind of depressing that that old building had no significance in the eyes of the world. It sure ment a lot for me. I read the notability guidelines, yes, and I can guarentee the existence of both that book and the newspaper article. If you would like, I can scan the church's constitution (assuming that most churches don't have one) and the article in question if it can save that article. It's 6:40 AM here on the Eastern Seaboard, and I may be able to obtain that article by sundown on September 3rd (Eastern Standard Time). I'll scan it, quote it, whatever it takes, I just want one of my contributions to survive more than seven days... just once.
My apologies for annoying you. I really am not a vandal, but I never have been that good of a contributer as far as content, since I always have been terrible at citing my content. I guess I'll just stick to existing articles. I do believe, though that my contributions in that article fell upon the "Be Bold" policy, and I did my research alright, most definitely.
TurtleShroom! :) †Jesus Loves You and Died for you!† 10:49, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
P.S.: The fact that you stated that you trusted my citation on that book, that meant a lot to me. Thank you, sir. Have a great day.
:)
Hello. I've removed your speedy tag, as there are notability assertions in the article. You could (should?) try WP:AFD. Thanks for tagging. --Dweller (talk) 16:54, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

Is there a way to retrieve the page I created regarding DiscipleLife. It was not meant as any form of advertising but to educate people on what the term means and how it has been used in the Northern-Texas Northern Louisiana Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Please also allow me to defend or edit the page so it conforms with WikiPedia rules and standards. thanks

- You'll have to contact one of the admins (preferably the one that deleted the article) and ask them to restore the article in your userspace so you can work on it. I will warn you though, that if you cannot prove that it is Notable, then it probably will not be able to stay in the normal encyclopedia. Templarion1 (talk) 03:10, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
2nd chance comments
Hey man, no worries at all and certainly no need to apologize. For a lot of vandals, I would want to see "seriously large improvements". I just think this guy (kid?) might actually be really trying to do "good", and I don't want to run anyone off the project who could possibly be a contributor. Tan | 39 01:48, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion request re: Irina Yegorova
I guess the page does rank low on notability, so there's little information about the community irina has created and the proda phenomemon in russian fandom that this community started. thanks for the tag, i'll be editing the page so one has reasons to not delete the page ;-) Agramont (talk) 07:41, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
Summit High School (Frisco, Colorado)
I have removed the speedy tag from Summit High School (Frisco, Colorado) and expanded the article a bit. In general, all high schools are considered notable, even if the article about them is just a stub. -- Eastmain (talk) 05:57, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

I saw where you made the offer, and it was good, but to me his editing history indicates his mind is made up on this. He won't change his mind and can't change the subject. Daniel Case (talk) 03:47, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

Involvement
I would like the get more involved with helping out at Wikipedia, and so I requested the account creation tool. Templarion (talk) 17:34, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for applying to access the account creation tool. Unfortunately I was unable to process your request. The ACC tool is a powerful program, and at the present time your account is either too new for us to determine whether you would know how to properly use the tool or that you have not attained the necessary level of trust to be granted access. Please don't take this personally and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Prodego talk 18:29, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Speedy Deletion of Ruta 800
Hello. Why are you placing the Speedy Deletion tag on the article? I'm new here and I'm concerned about this, since I'm trying to do things right. What do I have to improve on the article? Thank you in advance for your answer. Mirapaltecho (talk) 17:52, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
I think I give up for today!
This is frustrating :( I just wanted to write about my favorite artist, that isn't currently on Wikipedia, and well, it seems that Wikipedia is so global that local entries don't count as notable. I'm sad. Mirapaltecho (talk) 00:16, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
Unblock requests
Hi! I noticed you referred two blocked IP addresses to WP:ACC. What most people don't realise is that we don't handle unblock requests, and hence our system will automatically reject requests from IP addresses which have account creation blocked on Wikipedia. While this doesn't check range blocks at the moment, this is on our list of things to do. :-) Regards, Stwalkerster [ talk ] 20:04, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- Don't worry about it - I was just letting you know :) Stwalkerster [ talk ] 20:09, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
I'm loathe to admit it, but it appears as if this article is legitimate. It is now referenced. I'm not sure it still meets the Speedy guidelines. Would you mind taking another look? Thanks for your time. --OliverTwisted 05:19, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
- My main issue is that it is already done at Manualism (hand music). Templarion (talk) 05:25, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'm going to be bold and do a redirect. Let me know what you think. --OliverTwisted 05:58, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
- That sounds great. I figure that the original author can work on the Manualism article, as it looks like it could use some TLCTemplarion (talk) 06:03, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

Reverted good faith edits
If they're good faith edits, why do you revert them? Fxm12 (talk) 02:59, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
- Because a bad good faith edit is still a bad edit. You may mean well, but if the addition does not add anything, or is advertising, then it's not a good edit. Labeling it a good faith edit is just my way of saying that it probably isn't appropriate, but that you didn't mean anything bad by adding it. Templarion (talk) 06:52, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Passwords
I see you have created a second account to protect against possible compromise. Nothing wrong with that, but just thought I would let you know that there are better ways of doing this. First of all, a lost/forgotten password can be dealt with through e-mail, see Wikipedia:FAQ/Technical#How do I recover a password I have forgotten?. You will need to have enabled e-mail on your account beforehand. Secondly, you can protect your account by pasting a hash code on your user page. If your account is ever compromised you can use this to prove to an administrator that it is your account as only you will have the key to the code. Hash codes are much harder to break than passwords. Here is a link to an online hash calculator. SpinningSpark 13:19, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for your suggestion on the account security. I didn't think about a hash, so I'll probably do that soon. Also, regarding your statement on the talk page for the Amistad book, I posted to the talk page for just that reason, I just didn't find anything (I didn't know about the Google Scholar function, so I'll try using that more often). I've removed the notability tag from the article, and withdrawn my statement on the talk page. Templarion (talk) 16:55, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- Well done, Google books is also a good source for references. SpinningSpark 00:19, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
- Good to know. I'm trying to get more involved with Wikipedia as I have lots of downtime in life, so that will helps lots. Templarion (talk) 05:50, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
AMSTAD book article
Hey man. You seem to know your way around here pretty well.
So, maybe you could lend a hand with this article:
Specifically, maybe you could help post a picture of the book cover.
While I intend to learn the greater intricacies of dealing with media content on wikipedia, trust me when I say I'm not ready yet.
Ergo, my request for you to help.
--AlphaFactor (talk) 11:55, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- I've never actually done much with images, but I'll give it a shot. It looks like the one that was in the article before was deleted due to the lack of a fair use reason. I'll see if I can find one that we can use. Templarion (talk) 15:18, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, see if you like that. Templarion (talk) 15:56, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, snap! That's great, man! Thank you! I'll pass on my best regards to Professor Jones. :) If you haven't already, make it a point to read the book or at least watch the film. I think you'd be very excited by what you see!--AlphaFactor (talk) 02:58, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

I wanted to let you know that your help at WP:RFU lately is appreciated. Unblock requests is an area that I have never seen a non-admin participating in before (at least not in a good way) and your rational suggestions to helping out blocked editors isn't going unnoticed. - Thank you! I know that you admins are extremely busy, so if I can help a little I am happy to. Templarion (talk) 02:23, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Oxted School
Please would you desist from deleting my entries to the Oxted School entry? I have agreed with your appraisal of "The Pirate Game". However, I have the luxury of being a member of staff at the school and I would be grateful if you would respect that. If you require further verification of my "status" please visit the school website as referenced in the entry. I appreciate that you are well intentioned, as am I. DelBoyPC (talk) 20:50, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
- Normally you want to put new subjects at the bottom of a talk page, so that they are easier to find. As for your concern, I have only removed it once. It seems that multiple people have issues with your addition. Please note, however, that WP:V, WP:NOTE and WP:RS don't just apply to having an article that focuses on that subject. The game should not be on the page for Oxted School for the same reasons that it shouldn't have its own article. Finally, as for your status, that doesn't matter. The premise of Wikipedia means that all entries are decided on the strength of their sources, not of the credentials of the presenter. Until you can get sources that back up your statements, it's all Original Research that must be removed (as you can see from the fact that multiple people revert you). Templarion 愛 23:10, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
I can see that you have far too much time on your hands. I am very disappointed with your bigotry. I have got much more important things to do in life than contine with this petty squabble. You obviously are very well versed with the workings of Wikipedia, I am not. I hope you have enjoyed your meaningless victory over me. Fare Well. DelBoyPC (talk) 17:55, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- I'm actually quite sorry you feel that way. I don't honestly have an opinion either way, but I do believe strongly in rules and having rules followed. I've linked you several times to the relevant policies involved, which are WP:V WP:RS and WP:NOTE. Also please note that I am not the only person that opposes you in adding that statement, so it is not a case of me constantly opposing you. When more than one person disagrees with you, it is best if you take a nice look at yourself and make sure that the problems is the other person, and not yourself. I have no problem with you and honestly hope that you will return one day and be a productive contributor, but if you refuse to learn policies and rules then you will likely run into trouble. Templarion 愛 18:04, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
I have no conclusive evidence that there is anyone opposing me other than yourself. I cannot believe that the Oxted School entry is looked at often enough for my edits to be deleted with such regular monotony unless some individual with a vendetta is clocking it. I have taken on board your suggestion and take a nice long look at myself. I like what I see. Have a Great Day. DelBoyPC (talk) 18:19, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- [1] is the revision history of the article (all revisions of all pages are logged and saved). As you can see, I have reverted you twice now for policy reasons, and User:Plumtree100 has reverted you three times for vandalism. Many users do what is called 'recent changes patrol' [2] which watches for vandalism. If someone doing the patrol sees a section added to a mathematics building for a school calling it the home of 'the pirate game', they are likely to think it is one of our normal vandals adding nonsense. In addition, many users use their watchlist to keep an eye on articles they have an interest in or a have edited before, so they can remove problematic additions, so it is likely that the revisions came from one of these two sources. I would appreciate an apology for insinuating that I have a vendetta against you. Templarion 愛 18:45, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
Thankyou for the information. I am sorry but I am unable to offer the apology that you have asked for. I resent being treated as a "normal vandal" and feel strongly that it is I that is deseving of an apology from both yourself and Plumtree100. DelBoyPC (talk) 19:16, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- It seems odd to say the least that a 'member of staff' at the school acting in good faith should add Diego Maradonna to the list of notable former pupils as DelBoyPC did on 28 Dec 08.Plumtree100 (talk) 21:45, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
Haha! Have you no sense of humour? Apparently not! As you seem to be making a mission out of analysing my edits, how about having a look at everything I have edited on the Oxted School article. Perhaps with your mammouth knowledge you can look at everything that I have ever edited. If you care to do so, you will see that the only page I have altered is The Oxted School page (and related Pirate Game entry). Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot, you're always right. I'm "obviously" a vandal and not a member of the school's staff! May I suggest that delete everything that I've written on the basis that I'm obviously a liar! Alternatively you could just apologise. What you are doing is mere censorship and you are not even Wikipedia administrators. I am confused as to what exactly do you think your role is. Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't you just an ordinary user such as myself? I would be extremely grateful if you get off your high horse and come down to my level. That is the level of someone, who is actually, quite unimportant. DelBoyPC (talk) 23:31, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
