If I make a mistake, or if you see a way I could edit better, please feel free to let me know. All I ask is that you be civil, and remember that I mean well.

Conversations will be continued on this talk page when they are started here.
Please do not remove any legitimate discussions, even completed ones, from my talk page. I keep all of them for reference, as my memory can be rather poor at times.

I am slowly returning to my normal life, I have been out of touch, and indeed at times out of capability to know anything about or even visit Wikipedia for quite some time now. Templarion 善意 06:39, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Returning from the 'dead'

[edit]

{{adminhelp}}

Could an admin please remove the protection from my userpage? I have had a very difficult year, but I'm not dead yet. Thank you. Templarion 善意 06:50, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have done so. I'm a bit curious as to how that confusion came about! Welcome back! GorillaWarfare talk 07:00, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Templarion, I'm the one who originally protected your userpage (it was worse for a while, I originally blocked you before lifting the block per WP:DWG!). It seems this all happened because I was a little too willing to trust an IP user, in combination with the fact that the information I could find dovetailed pretty neatly with the IP's story. In any case, I'm glad to hear you are, in fact, still among the living, and apologize for the confusion and trouble. Sorry! ダイノガイ千?!? · Talk⇒Dinoguy1000 18:52, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No apologies are needed, I understand what happened. Thanks for unprotected it, coming back and finding myself proclaimed dead was a bit of a shock, but nothing too bad. Lets hope that declaration is not needed again for a very, very long time. Templarion 善意 03:01, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • If this has been sent to you in error and you have never patrolled new pages, please ignore it.

Please click HERE to take part.
Many thanks in advance for providing this essential feedback.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. New deal for page patrollers

[edit]

Hi Templarion,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
