Please remember to add edit summaries

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by InvadingInvader (talkcontribs) 13:45, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Kh-47M2 Kinzhal, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 04:01, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Apirl 2022

[edit]

Information icon As already noted to you, please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source, and as noted by BilCat, we urge you to please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources. I am sadly reaching out as this seems to still be occurring. After one of your edits prompted me down a rabbit hole of reviewing your edits, I would urge you to also review WP:N: basically, make sure that the edits you make are relevant for the overview on topics that we provide - as a lot of your edits (though reverted by other editors) are adding minute pieces of nonsignificant occurrences. On that matter, I would urge you to give WP:NOTGAME a quick read and some thought. If you would care to elaborate after that, I would be very interested in your process that lead to your string of edits of M142 HIMARS. Thank you very much, and I hope to hear from you soon.

I will revert AHS Krab for Ukraine in K9 Thunder article

[edit]

1) Korea did not make sales to Ukraine

2) Korea sold subsystem (or partial of whole product) to Poland.

3) Poland manufactures finished AHS Krab, and Ukraine should be in that article only.

4) Any further purchase / negotiation of AHS Krab within K9 should only include Poland for that reason. Kadrun (talk) 07:39, 10 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of equipment of the Polish Land Forces, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Multiple launch rocket system. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:09, 11 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

High to Medium Air Defense

[edit]

Hello!

This is a courtesy notice that I'm considering nominating High to Medium Air Defense for deletion in the near future. I'm notifying you because you edited the page a few times back in June, and none of the other significant contributors are active registered users.

Any comments are welcome.

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle into Boeing F-15EX Eagle II. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 22:47, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

March 2023

[edit]

Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Litening. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 02:43, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've reverted several of your article moves this week. It might be best if you propose moves on the talk page first until you have a better understanding of the naming conventions. Thanks. BilCat (talk) 02:43, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited PL-17, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tanker.

Notice

The article AN/AAQ-40 Electro-Optical Targeting System has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article seems to discuss a specific part of a weapon system that doesn't seem to need covering by its own Wikipedia article. I'd assume that this would be covered in the F-35 article. This article also doesn't cite any reliable secondary sources, so it remains unclear why Wikipedia would have an article on the topic. Best regards, --Johannes (Talk) (Contribs) (Articles) 09:18, 7 April 2023 (UTC)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 09:00, 8 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Eplosive reactive armor has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Misspelled title (making the title not a useful redirect) + unnecessary unattributed cut-and-paste fork of Reactive armor.

M35 tank gun

I won't revert, but usually natural disambiguation is preferred. Make sure you use the edit summary to explain your page moves. Best, Schierbecker (talk) 02:49, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
