Orphaned fair use image (Image:Google logo1.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Google logo1.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --Durin21:03, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
Fair use image use
Fair use images are not permitted to be used outside of the main article namespace. Please see the policy at Wikipedia:Fair use criteria item #9. This includes userboxes. Thus, the use of a copyrighted image on a userbox does not clear it of being orphaned. Further, the image may not be used on the userbox. I have reverted your re-insertion of these copyrighted images onto these non-main article namespace pages. If you have questions about this, I'd be happy to answer. Thank you, --Durin23:48, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
AutoWikiBrowser
Thank you for your recent application to use AutoWikiBrowser. Regrettably, I have declined your request as you do not have 500 mainspace edits. You are welcome to apply again at a later time. Feel free to contact me with any questions, alphachimp19:20, 29 January 2007 (UTC)`
I've fixed it for you ;-) Anyway, just use this syntax [[LINK]] oppure [[LINK|display text]]. BTW, I've removed the two categories you've added: this is a talk page ;-). For further syntax help, see here and Here.
If you have any problems or simple questions, feel free to ask them on my talk page ;-)
Thanks for your comments on the Taj Mahal - making redirects doesn't usually need any consultation - just Be Bold and do it. On another note, are you sure you mean impotent where your user page says "[the flower] points out some of my impotent links." - did you mean important? --Joopercoopers13:50, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Userpage protection (and protection to any kind of page here on wikipedia) can be made only by Administrators, and it's done only what it's strictly necessary, usually for vandalism.
{{|Click|link=User talk:Tbone55?action=edit§ion=new|image=Crystal Clear app mail.png|width=30px|height=30px|title=Leave me a message}} might work. I don't know. Will(talk to me)05:26, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
Hmmm... your header looks oddly familiar *cough cough*. Now you are giving lessons on how to do it? I learned how to do that mostly by myself and with a little help from Darknesslord and Andonico. I find it funny that everyone has been using my header. I never said anything to anyone untill I saw that you were giving lessons on how to create it. So I thought I might just mention all that.

On perusing ur workings I noticed that ü spend considerable time on reversions and repairing acts of vandalism. Left-handed issues is an informed commentary with humour. I will iterate it appropriately in future. But humour just felt like the appropriate point of departure. Did you know that humour is scientifically proven as the best teaching and learning tool? Humour also aids memory and re-access of encoded information. I am going to provide references. I hope with sincere inSINcerity I gave u a kick-arse smile!
It is perfectly alright to say no, but If you'd like, I can adopt you. You seem like you have a good handle on things, but perhaps as a more experienced Wikipedian I can offer you some assistance. Let me know what you think. Cheers, Dar-Ape04:35, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
Splendid! If you don't mind me asking, did you pick your username because you also play the trombone? Or do you simply like eating steaks? Dar-Ape00:17, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Sure! Please let me know, though, if you feel at any time that I haven't fully answered one of your questions-- I will not be offended. Best, Dar-Ape20:39, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for applying for VandalProof!(VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that at this time you do not meet the minimum requirement of 250 edits to mainspace articles (see under mainhere). Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof.Daniel.Bryant02:44, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
TBone?
Dear sir,
You are a bitch. I will take a shit on your car. I hope you realize that I own the rights to the entire DC universe and plan to poop on them as soon as I eat out your Granny. Dicks are for chicks, and your not one. Go get T-Boned by some burly man named Dirk. I think jodie foster is a sex beast and she rapes the souls from men ages 18-24. I also would like to bring to your attention that you sir are a wiitard. you make Clark fights his homosexual urges and wants to do Sylvester Stallone. I Want to ride the Italian stallion is what he says

1. Why did you remove referenced material from this page?
2. Who are you calling a vandal I wrote the page on Ivor Bell - I consider you calling me a vandal a breach of WP:NPA - if you do not apologies I will report you.--Vintagekits23:04, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
Re this comment saying "another vandal" gives the unfortunate possiblity that you are implying Vintagekits is also a vandal. I presume you meant merely "a vandal". If so, it might be an idea to correct the wording. Tyrenius23:20, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
Thank you SOOOO muxh for falling for my trick! I was starting to get afraid that no one besides me would ever fall for it. Do my user page and various sub pages look okay? --Cremepuff222 (talk, sign book) 01:07, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
Fair use image use
Three times now I have removed fair use images from User:Tbone55/wiki/UBS/oldschoolgoogle. I informed you on January 5 2007 [1] that the use of such images on non-main namespace articles is not permitted per Wikipedia:Fair use criteria item #9. Please stop adding fair use images to such pages as above. If you continue to willfully violate this policy, you will be temporarily blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, I'd be happy to answer. However, continuing in this manner is not the appropriate way to respond. Thank you, --Durin18:39, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
Apologies, I was just being dumb. If you could, would you point me in the direction of a fair use image of a google related product.
ANY fair use image is not permitted on templates. I think what you are after are free license images. There are no free license images of Google logos; by definition Google logos have rights retained by Google. Does this help? If not, just ask. --Durin02:53, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
Signature
I'm glad to hear you figured that out. No offense taken, it is just my personal preference to have a simple signature that only links to my user and talk pages. I don't mind other styles, but I like to keep mine spare. However, as I was looking at your sig, it does seem a bit longer that is usually deemed acceptable. For reference, Wikipedia:Signatures#Length recommends not having more than 200 characters in your sig, and you currently employ 485. You may want to simplify yours a bit, but that of course doesn't mean taking away its individuality. Dar-Ape03:49, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

HBC Archive Indexerbot Opt-In
Greetings! Looking through the logs of the HBC Archive Indexerbot, I noticed that your opt-in request on this page is not quite correct. I was going to correct it, but saw that you requested no changes be made in your userspace without checking with you first. Here is the corrected opt-in code:
Feel free to update that, and let me know if you have any questions. That should permit the HBC Archive Indexerbot to properly index your talk archives. Enjoy! —Krellis (Talk) 16:06, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
