Orphaned non-free media (Image:Tingle's Balloon Fight.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Tingle's Balloon Fight.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:50, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Your so called "grammar"

Music is a collective noun so therefore does not use A in front of it. You said "That'll be like saying I watch DVD instead of I watch a DVD", a DVD is an object (a physical thing) but music is something that you cannot hold or feel and is an abstract noun and doesn't need an A. TheHeartbreakKid15 15:58, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

No it isn't grammatically incorrect! Listen to what I'm saying!! Music is an abstract noun and is non physical so it doesn't need an A. It's used in ordinary non-wrestling terms and is used in this case too! Stop making up your own language! TheHeartbreakKid15 20:46, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

What?! You want to argue over the English language? Why can't you just accept it and be done with it, this isn't your personal website you know. No one else seems bothered about it. TheHeartbreakKid15 22:37, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Sonic "The" Hedgehog

I don't understand why you keep replacing "t" with "T" on "Sonic the Hedgehog." On titles, if "the" is not at the beginning of a title or sentence, the "t" is lowercase. Thanks! LN3000 20:04, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Well, I figured that you had a reason. However, I think there is a difference between a CHARACTER's name, and the name of the GAME. The games are Sonic "the" Hedgehog, so for simplicity sake, it should stay that way, instead of "The". Basically, I guess when talking about the character SPECIFICALLY, then you use "The" but the games really are "the." LN3000 21:28, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. Keep up the great work, man!LN3000 21:38, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

"if still champion"

Let me tell you what "if still champion" means as it relates to the ROH match: it means what is definite is that Nigel McGuinness will face the ROH World Champion, not Takeshi Morishima. Once Morishima retains against Kevin Steen on 10/5, change it to (c), because then it is for certain that he will be the one to face McGuinness. Nenog 00:45, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Execpt WWE and TNA do not ecnoledge the fact their champion(s) could lose the title before the PPV, but ROH does. Fact is ROH says "if still champion", so no matter how many times you change it, I will revert it back to their wording. Nenog 00:44, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
You draw these "consensus" out of no where. Here are the links to WWE's No Mercy, TNA's Bound for Glory, and ROH's next PPV. WWE states, for certain, that Randy Orton will wrestle John Cena for the WWE championship and Khali will wrestle Batista for the Heavyweight Championship; TNA states, for certain, that Sting will wrestle Kurt Angle for the TNA Championship, Christopher Daniels will wrestle Jay Lethal for the X-Division Championship, and Styles & Tomko will wrestle Killings & Pacman for the tag team championship; ROH states that Nigel McGuinness will face Takeshi Morishima only if he is still the champion. If you would like an actual consensus on the matter, take it to the project page and ask if scheduled matches should go by what the promotion says, or by what you say. Nenog 01:09, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Show me where an actual discussion took place, and an honest consensus was taken, so that I know that everyone, and not just you, says to go against what the promotion says. And for the record, the card for Respect is Earned was not announced before hand, Driven (until you removed it) had a note saying the Briscoes vs. Steen & Genrico would only be for the titles if the Briscoes were still champion, and until the day before the Man Up it said "if still champion" (again, changed by you). Nenog 01:30, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Edit war with TheHeartbreakKid15

I see that the two of you are involved in an edit war. May I remind you both that repeated reversions violate Wikipedia policy? Please wait until some concensus has been achieved before making any further changes relating to this issue.

I have added my own opinion on the matter at the discussion page, which I'm sure two mature-minded editors would be interested in. ObfuscatePenguin 00:55, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

A good approach, TJ[1] Banno 07:53, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Just a reminder: you are still on a 1 revert parole. That is 1 revert for 1 article, for every 24 hours (i.e. you may not revert twice in 24 hours on the same page, unless it is vandalism or otherwise consensus to remove content).  ALKIVAR 17:43, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
I was just coming here to comment on this. Yeah, you need to avoid this kind of stuff. As you can see you are being watched. Don't edit war in the future. The Hybrid 23:35, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

You don't know what your talking about

That poster you posted has NOT bin confirmed either so it really doesn't matter which one is up.

You are incorrect. There is no way of knowing which one is real until a PPV provider or WWE confirms it. The one you posted is a fake. The one I put up is probably also a fake. Both are fake. It really doesn't matter which one goes up.

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Space Station Tycoon.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Space Station Tycoon.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:59, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Extended PPV article - "Other-on screen talent" section

On the One Night Stand (2005) PPV article I noticed you inserted the Other-on screen talent section. As it is one of the "extended" (full report etc.) PPV articles, is this section really needed. Personally, I don't think it is needed, and in my view its "cruft" and deterioates the articles quality. I can understand why its on WrestleMania article, but in the extended PPV articles, the information is sufficiently covered in the main body. Do we really need the section - does it really add to the article in terms of quality? Davnel03 18:23, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

I would love to tackle Starrcade, only problem is is that I never watched WCW once! My reason. Because I was only five or six when those events happened!! Sorry! Why don't you try and do something in your sandbox and see where you get with it? Davnel03 16:01, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
I can help you with the article if you wish? I have Eric Bischoff's Controversy Creates Cash book which gives a lot of info on Starrcade 1997 (or '98, can't remember the year). Davnel03 15:16, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

LOL, you must be watching ECW, I was just about to revert the 'vacated title' edit but you beat me to it. You're fast :-) Stormin' Foreman 02:06, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Sweet Chin Music

Do you know when he actually started calling it that? From matches I've seen in 96, I only remember it being called the superkick :S TheHeartbreakKid15 21:00, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

That's true. But I remember he used at WrestleMania X in the Ladder Match on Razor and Vince and Lawler didn't even mention it. Also I think at Summerslam 96, it's only called a superkick as well TheHeartbreakKid15 20:20, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

So...

Have you considered filing a deletion review, or starting an ANI thread about Alkivar's deletion of your subpage? You know you could take him to school with WP:COI. The Hybrid 05:11, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, and remember to mention that OR isn't a criterion for speedy deletion, and even if it were the general rules for articles don't apply to subspace in addition to the aforementioned Conflict of Interests. Tear him apart ;). Make sure that he has no ground to stand on. The Hybrid 06:36, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

One Night Stand

I understand that they have full articles, but you still include WWE One Night Stand 2007 in the article. If so, you should seperate that one too. 64.237.197.113 20:45, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi, you mentioned that you might be able to look through some of the references in this article to let me know which ones would stand up to a GA review. If you have a chance, I'd really appreciate it if you could do this. I did some more work today on the references, replacing a few and adding a second reference to some claims. I think it's getting close, but I think I need help just finding out what (if anything) still needs to be changed. GaryColemanFan 23:25, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:WrestlePalooza98.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:48, 6 October 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. KipSmithers T/C 00:48, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Wrestlemania (1985)

Hello, I have noticed that you are a frequent contributor to the many wrestling articles. I would like some assistance with the article on the first WrestleMania...do you know where I could find good sources about the build-up to it? I know of some things to look at, but want to know if you have any big recommendations. I would love to see the article on the first ever WrestleMania, to be promoted to a good article, or even a featured one. Thank you. FamicomJL 02:20, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, that's one thing I was specifically looking for. What sucks to me, is that the two MTV shows would be PERFECT sources, but they're so hard to find any information for on the internet and in tape trading. I'd do to message boards, but of course they're always the last place to have to look. I'm hoping Graham Cawthon's site (thehistoryofthewwe.com) lists in detail post match activites on the MTV shows, since those are all I'm really looking for. I know what happened, but I'd just need to source it all. FamicomJL 02:28, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Hi again TJ. Thanks again for the source. I'll definitely use it in the article. I have a question, is there any way to cite the show itself as a source? I don't know if anything out there cites Axel F. as the closing theme, even though it is correct. Well, any source that's reliable. Regards, FamicomJL 01:23, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

I have removed the images, and left a message on the talk page. Also, the conflict between the names "The Little Bastard" and "Hornswoggle" can be counted in your parole. Just saw the discussion on WPT:PW

that I left abruptly a few days ago. My apologies for that. Anyway, I just want to know your state of mind on the matter of "notability" (which is fast becoming little more than a buzzword that I absolutely hate) within the project. It can be summed up in a simple question - who would you consider more notable, Bryan Danielson or Sal Sincere? Adam Pearce or Keith Diamond? Claudio Castagnoli or Pablo Marquez? The Briscoe Brothers or The Yukon Lumberjacks? I think you get my point, and it's probably a vain one since we're on definitely opposite sides here. And yes, perhaps I am a little guilty of recentism, but I think you've got a little too much of a one-track mind as well.

Don't be in any hurry to reply to me. There probably isn't much point anyway, unless I've struck a nerve (which, knowing me, I probably have). In any case, no disrespect meant, and this is just a point that was burning in me a little. Nosleep1234 13:15, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:13, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

WWE No Way Out

Quick question, did you see any new pages made about the Hogan/Rock screwjob at N.W.O. made by a random IP or other user? I'm only wondering because TomJBlane said on my talk page that he had the article made with a simple phone call, and had someone else make it. I was wondering if you noticed any new pages because I'd like to place a vandalism warning on said users page, if what TomJBlane was saying was true. Wrestlemania III

You added a sentence about Steamboat being sent to the hospital, yet the reference does not state anything in particular. May you please, or explain, or delete the statement. Thank you, Lex94 Talk Contributions Signatures 22:41, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

Well man, check the history (at this link). It says you added the sentence. If I have your permission, I'd like to remove it. Sorry for the bother. Lex94 Talk Contributions Signatures 22:52, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

DreamWorks Statement

How can we get that information in? I admit I am not really sure how to word it, but feel it is important to point out. Can you help me? I would greatly appreciate your insight. Swisspass 23:17, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

It's under corp support, can I ask what do you think? My wording was probably poorly done, I really would appreciate any insight. I also added it to Blu-ray article.Swisspass 23:33, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
Thank you very much for your help. Last thing, how should I handle a dispute should one arise? I suspect the BD article will dispute it. Any good resources I should read? Thanks Swisspass 23:49, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Brunswick Pro Bowling.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Brunswick Pro Bowling.JPG.

Thank you.BetacommandBot 15:49, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

WWE RAW/Cyber Sunday

Hmm, why was my edit considered vandilism, if all i did was move the "current champions" under "on air personaiities" and place "Excecutive Assitant" instead of "notes"? I didnt remove the commentators, I was wondering who did it but it wasnt me.--TrUcO9311 22:04, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Hmm, my bad i didnt notice I deleted it, but I wasnt intending on doing so. I guess thats why he reverted the edit. SO can I do it again (my edit) the current champs and EX assistant? I wont delete the comm.--TrUcO9311 22:11, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Sure, I deleted it. I think its best to request semi protection until Monday. Those Ip's are going crazy its like more than 5 different IP edits in the last 24 hours. This is why the Chirs Jericho article was protected until the end of the month, because people believe the video is for him.--TrUcO9311 22:21, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
Alright, the Cyber Sunday page is now semi-protected. --TrUcO9311 23:19, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

My bad, again, I didnt understand your question, that video is intended for Chris Jericho but it is not confirmed by WWE or Chris Jericho so even if it does come from WWE, it is not reliable because it is unconfirmed by either party.--TrUcO9311 23:50, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
