Mizhi County middle school stabbings moved to Draftspace
[edit]Hello, I am letting you know I have moved your article to the draftspace, because I do not believe it qualifies for it's own page. You can edit it here: Draft:Mizhi County middle school stabbing
The reason is because it seems like it should be merged with the page School attacks in China Cray04 (talk) 05:33, 1 December 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detectedthat when you recently edited Eduroam, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Higher Education Commission. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]... for your tireless work in changing "cannibalism" links to point to human cannibalism instead when that's the more appropriate link target, as it so often is. Much appreciated! I'd already changed a few dozen of these links, I guess, but I was aware that a huge number remained and never had the energy to approach that task in your admirably systematic manner. Nice work on your new article. It would benefit from inclusion in appropriate Wikiprojects. I would also suggest considering your audience - the lede mentions local places, but does not state what country is involved; don't force a reader to click a link to find out you're talking about Florida in the United States.

Spelling error
[edit]Just a heads up on a minor error you made on this edit. You changed College to college despite the fact it's a proper noun. It's referring to College Street. If you are using automated tools to assist in these spelling cleanups, you need to double check this kind of thing to be sure they're correct as they're not infallible. Thanks. You should realize when serial killers are listed in the serial rapists list, it's because many of them did rape numerous victims, not just before they killed, but in between their killings. They're qualifications fit, and I cordially insist you go back over the names and add back the offenders applying to the criteria. If you'd like, I can help. I added several names, I can tell you my reasoning behind their additions. Kindly encode a mention with my username into your reply so I get a notification in my account. ContributingHelperOnTheSide (talk) 14:18, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
- I did go through each case carefully, and I don't believe I made any mistakes. If I did, share their names. I will look into it. @ContributingHelperOnTheSide Swinub★ 23:45, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
- A serial rapist is defined as having committed three or more rapes with cooling off periods. You argue serial killers don't fit that criteria if they don't rape more than three victims outside of their murders, which is indeed what the last is going for. However, you've erased killers with confirmed records of three or more rapes aside from their murders, such as Rodney Alcala and Albert Fish. Carl Panzram confessed to a thousand rapes in his autobiography, and although his confession isn't described in detail publicly, his accounts are agreed upon to be credible. We should also keep an open mind to how, although records are tougher to find from crimes further back in time, we need a more open kind to include them in the list, so I would argue Panzram belongs in the list. These are only a few examples, but I hope my overall point makes sense. ContributingHelperOnTheSide (talk) 14:30, 10 October 2024 (UTC)
- Fish was removed by someone else, for good reason. You are technically correct about Alcala. On his article, it states that he raped and did not kill not only Tali Shapiro and Julie J., but also Monique Hoyt and Morgan Rowan, which I had missed. I would still oppose his inclusion because four is just making the cut-off, and he killed far more than he had raped (going by what is verifiable), but if you would like to add him back, I won't stop you. As for Panzram, it is all anecdotal; the "thousands" of rapes are improbable, to say the least. He is confirmed to be a serial murderer and nothing more. The list is long enough as is and does not need to include every crazy person who told stories. If people would like to read about serial killers who happened to commit a few rapes in between, they can find those on their own lists. Swinub★ 17:12, 14 October 2024 (UTC)

Hello! Regarding this edit, although the two points are bulleted separately in the template, while reading it feel uneven as if they are part of same sentence and give a sense of unease while reading as both are unrelated matters (and the second point with capital A in anger just makes it worse). So per WP:IAR (for if there is any rule for it) I think the ',' (comma) should be added. What do you think? Thanks, ExclusiveEditor Notify Me! 06:42, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
