Sal Vulcano's Picture

[edit]

Sure, it's not his current appearance. But is that really a rule? Because I checked Rebel Wilson's wiki page, and her picture is from 2012 and has stayed that away for 10 years and counting. Even though her physical appearance is very different because she lost a lot of weight. TheVoicelessWriter (talk) 12:14, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@TheVoicelessWriter: I'm not entirely sure if that's a rule - but if plenty of more recent, high-quality photos of the person are available, it would probably be better to use one of those (rather than a much older photo). SupremeLordBagel (talk to me) 22:08, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, reading my edit summary now, I realise I didn't word it as well as I could have and I apologize for any confusion caused. Due to the non-serious nature of the image's caption and the date you added the image (April Fools' Day), I assumed it was just a joke and not an actual encyclopediac contribution. Sorry for the assumption. SupremeLordBagel (talk to me) 03:09, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

the Cat Empire discography PR

[edit]

@Vaughan J.: returned my comments to Wikipedia:Peer review/The Cat Empire discography/archive1. I started there but then thought the PR had lapsed with no comments for over a month and had been archived (finished). I'm happy with the transfer and hope you will continue working on the discography.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 02:46, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I will. Thank you for the help with the article! SupremeLordBagel (talk to me) 04:27, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

On 2 May 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article In the Darkest of Nights, Let the Birds Sing, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that a song from the EP In the Darkest of Nights, Let the Birds Sing, written in response to the cancer diagnosis of singer Mark Foster's uncle, was played for him before his death? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/In the Darkest of Nights, Let the Birds Sing. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, In the Darkest of Nights, Let the Birds Sing), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Off-topic from GA

[edit]

Hi! It's me from the good article review. I wanted to say, I hope this is going well. I see that you are 14 (on your userpage) and I think that is awesome. I myself am 15 and also like writing music articles (see Growing Up, an album), and I think we're alike in that way. I started editing Wikipedia earlier this year, so I am generally new but I understand what is going on. I just wanted to acknowledge another young Wikipedian. Anyways, just wanted to say hi to a random 14 year old across the globe! I hope I can pass your article. The Sharpest Lives (the deadliest to lead) 14:05, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! It's great to see another Wikipedian my age. The article for Growing Up is really well-written! SupremeLordBagel (talk to me) 11:07, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Never realized other teenagers were on Wikipedia; I always felt as if I was too young, as a growing 14-year-old teenager myself (that's right, I'm 14 too)! You're mature and well-mannered for people of your age. Nice meeting you, and you've took the words out of my brain... it really is great to see another Wikipedian my age.
