A tag has been placed on Elmo “Pop” Haney requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. ///EuroCarGT 03:08, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I just deleted the article and then restored it based on your explanations on the talk page. However, you can't expect other wikipedians to do your work for you. Articles shouldn't be placed in the main encyclopedia until they're ready. So I'm moving the content to your user space. You can find it here. Deb (talk) 09:19, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Zio-punks epithet

[edit]

If you ever used this term[1] or anything similar again and I find out about it, I will block you. Interesting that it took you 4 or 5 minutes to read the first paragraph. Talk pages are also not forums (something I'm not sure you realise), and certainly not for attacks on an ethnic group.[2] Doug Weller (talk) 12:24, 22 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

The accusation is invalid. I am not "racist" and have never been "racist." I married an individual from a different race. The single-minded editor who made the false accusation apparently does not understand the nature of intellectual philosophical questioning and challenging, particularly for unconventional or unpopular ideas.

Decline reason:

Let me quote from one of your edits. "Why are blacks and particularly black females so immoral"[3] If you think comments like this are not racist, and if you think comments like this are appropriate for Wikipedia, you are sorely mistaken. Yamla (talk) 18:14, 4 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Today, I wanted to help Wikipedia by posting on a PLANT, for Godsakes! This is the same as if some (unqualified and marginal) Wiki "editor" banned Einstein for writing that Jews, on average, have a higher IQ score than other groups, which is TRUE. Would Einstein be "racist" for writing an observed fact? The FACT -- not "racist" or parochial or biased or discriminatory -- is that black females, at least in the United States, have 75% of their children out of wedlock. How, in any literate and rational sense and historical use of the word in the English language, can that not be "immoral"? My original comment is ACCURATE, both mathematically and linguistically. Do you, as an editor, even KNOW what a "moral" or "morality" is? I don't think you do. Which is why you are unqualified to be doing any "blocking" and incapable of being an "editor" (of which I have more than 20 years' experience)! Whereas, I am a published author and scholar in the United States. This kind of low-brow treatment will work to the detriment and ultimate degradation and embarrassment of Wikipedia. There are already NO respectable colleges and universities that allow the use of Wikipedia (directly because of "blocking" actions like this one -- you really can't censor in honest academia)! Do you want Wikipedia to become further degraded and a laughing stock? I have always liked the idea and the convenience of the Wikipedia service and have actively supported it, but this treatment is tyrannical ... off the scale for literate men and women. Shame on Wikipedia for placing such people in "control" of blocking and "administration." It is an embarrassment all around ... as time will show.
