Because your edits reflect a fringe economic view that essentially says "the textbooks are wrong, the textbooks are wrong". The textbooks are simplified, and details can be elaborated upon, but it's 'fringey' to say that the common view, or the textbook view is wrong. Thanks for uploading File:Taxonomy of money.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Hello, in fact after a more careful check on the BIS website, they do explicitely authorise re-use of their content under certain conditions which do apply here: "Users may reproduce a limited extract of BIS Material in other publications or products free of charge, provided the BIS is cited as the source and, with respect to translations, a statement is included that the translation is not an official BIS translation. By way of guidance, a "limited extract" means any extract of not more than 400 words of text or two tables or graphs, and in any case not exceeding 10% of the relevant publication." This is ridiculous. I'm not usually the one complaining about WP rules, but not being able to use a picture made by researchers paid by a public-funded institution (BIS) for a public-interest & nonprofit NGO (WP) is pure nonsense... No wonder why WP contributors are on the decline. I'm not going to waste one more minute of my time trying to make common sense prevail over such bureaucratic processes. My objection was not to the wording but to the elevation of a fringe narrative into the core of this article. I really think it would be best for you to self-revert your second try and present your views on the article talk page.
