- Was it the intention to have it floating around there? In that case, my bad. StanTwoCents (talk) 13:29, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
- It was not floating around anywhere, it was a closing statement. It was moved so as a to seem it was part of the statement which you replied to, it was not.Slatersteven (talk) 13:35, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
- An honest mistake. There was a comma behind the statement I was responding to, someone edited just before me, and I figured that is were it must belong. I would say please assume good faith, but unfortunately there must not be a policy for that. Have a nice day and my apologies for the inconvenience. StanTwoCents (talk) 13:39, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
- There is wp:agf, but it does not mean I should not tell you when you do something wrong, how else will you know its wrong?Slatersteven (talk) 13:48, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
- So far since my formal entry on Wikipedia, people have assumed that I have some axe to grind with some industry, that I am a sockpuppet, and then now that I moved your message with some intent (whatever that might be) to make it look like part of the statement I was responding to. Does that sounds like assuming good faith to you? That said, it was a mistake, and I apologised. StanTwoCents (talk) 13:51, 6 August 2020 (UTC)

Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
[edit]SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information. For more information about the columns and categories, please consult the documentation and please get in touch on SuggestBot's talk page with any questions you might have.
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot (talk) 16:21, 6 August 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Please read wp:npa accusation of vandalism a personal attack unless backed up by a strong case (in which case report it to WP:AIV.Slatersteven (talk) 14:15, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
- Oh that is rich. For the record, I have reported the well-documented personal attack of accusing of being a sockpuppet, and do not fear being accused of attacking anyone. You might really want to read this assuming good faith thing again. StanTwoCents (talk) 14:49, 7 August 2020 (UTC)

Welcome
[edit]Now that all the misunderstandings have been put to bed, here's a belated welcome message:
Welcome StanTwoCents!
I'm Cabayi, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

If you need further help, you can: | or you can: | or even: |
Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}}
here on your talk page and someone will try to help.
There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
Sincerely, Cabayi (talk) 11:38, 8 August 2020 (UTC) (Leave me a message)
reporting vandalism
[edit]Hey, S2C! Thanks, and FYI there's a special noticeboard for reports of vandalism at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. —valereee (talk) 14:08, 8 August 2020 (UTC)
