DYK Tsadkan Gebretensae
[edit]Hello, I have no experience with DYK nominations. I guess you are following a formal procedure for the nomination of the page on Tsadkan Gebretensae? Anything that I can do to support it? Rastakwere (talk) 04:20, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Rastakwere: It should be pretty simple at this point, someone will review it (may take time), and if they have any issues/questions then those need to be addressed. I am pretty sure I can handle any questions that may be asked, although obviously you are are welcome to participate too. I did move your alternative hook wording into main nomination for overall better readability, and as second one was just wikilink addition I simply added that link into original hook proposal.--Staberinde (talk) 08:55, 4 July 2021 (UTC)

Separate paragraphs with a blank line
[edit]Hi, Staberinde. When adding a new discussion at a Talk page with multiple paragraphs, please use one blank line between paragraphs per WP:Talk#Layout, not double break-tags, as occurred here. If there's ever a situation which requires you to use one, the unterminated break tag (<br>
) breaks syntax highlighting, so please use either the terminated version <br />
, or the replacement template {{br}} which is shorter and does the same thing. Thanks Mathglot (talk) 17:14, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
- Will keep in mind, thanks.--Staberinde (talk) 19:59, 16 March 2023 (UTC)

[edit]In a recent edit summary for the Philippine–American War article here, you said, "1. we dont use newspapers published at the time to write about more than century old conflicts, historians do exist. 2. also even if better source existed, usage of "supporters" has been deprecated by community decision anyway". Could you point me towards discussions where this was established and/or to guidelines where these points are stated? Also, please see this discussion section that I've just added to that article talk page. Thanks. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 00:08, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
