[edit]WP:DEPTH, WP:CONTINUEDCOVERAGE. it will help you understand why the event is spammy at this point. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 19:52, 18 October 2014 (UTC)
- It's not "spammy" and backed up with credible sources. I'm asking other users to step in based on your disruptive history.Sowhatchawant (talk) 19:57, 18 October 2014 (UTC)

[edit][[1]] I don't have the time or patience to deal with people who are dishonest or attempting to use the website to publicize an entity you can state why I'm wrong at that board but it's pretty obvious by your editing history why you are here. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 20:07, 18 October 2014 (UTC)
Those are strong accusations and very uncalled for. Everything in the article is backed up with sources.Sowhatchawant (talk) 20:17, 18 October 2014 (UTC)
- I'd refer you to WP:DUCK but as you haven't read anything else I've sent you I don't have high hopes. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 20:18, 18 October 2014 (UTC)
- Hopefully someone with authority will put an end to your disruptive edits and behavior. It's extremely uncalled for.Sowhatchawant (talk) 20:25, 18 October 2014 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of SMH Records
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on SMH Records, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. - That's so cool. How do you do graphics like that? Where would I find the graphic templates to add to like my user page?Sowhatchawant (talk) 08:44, 19 October 2014 (UTC)
- As promised, I've looked it over, and have given my thoughts at Talk:SMH Records#State of the article. I hope you find it helpful. By the way, yes, Hell in a Bucket is correct, those graphics are done through templates, and not any skill of mine! I'm horrible with graphics. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 03:49, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
Your dispute with Hell in a Bucket
[edit]There have been some problems with your editing, but I am very unhappy with the way that Hell in a Bucket has dealt with them. I have contacted a member of the arbitration committee about my concerns, as you can see here.
You need to be aware of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. If you find one or more other editors disagreeing with you, it is considered unconstructive to just keep repeating your preferred edit, in the hope that the other editor(s) will eventually give up and let you have your way. If we all did that, the result would be that the most stubborn editors would finish up getting their way. Much better is to discuss the issues, and explain the reasons why you think your version is better, with a view to trying to reach agreement, or at least a compromise which everyone can settle for. If an editor does continue edit warring, he or she may be blocked from editing to prevent disruption.
One more thing. Have you previously edited from any other account? In particular, are you the person who previously used the user name "Pearljambandaid"? If not, what is your connection to that person? The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 12:24, 19 October 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the explanation and help. I understand what you are saying. I've never been in a dispute with anyone so I don't understand the process yet of how this all works. A lot to wrap your head around with Wikipedia and it's not as easy as it seems for a rookie. This is the only user name and account I use. Over the course of many years I have made edits "minor edits" from unregistered accounts on unrelated articles. I couldn't tell you how many but I have on occasion fixed typos and made mild edits. Before this account was made I would guess that I had probably made not more than 20 minor edits over my lifetime give or take.Sowhatchawant (talk) 18:07, 19 October 2014 (UTC)
- I still believe you are connected to the company either through PR or a paid editor scenario but I do at least owe you an apology for one thing "The iTunes release of “Let’s Take It Naked,” a flute-infused, bubble-gum dance-floor jam, is expected soon, along with a music video and radio promotion from distributor Caroline Records (a division of the very big deal Capitol Music Group)." [2]. Both times I researched this the first afd and this I searched Universal, Umg and Capital music. I searched using just cap this last time cause I was going to rip you for it here and I found Capitol. FUCK, that did make me feel like an asshole and made me look like an idiot to boot. - User is Jonathan Hay so he is both PR and member of the company. Good call on that one. (Sherwoodstu (talk) 22:46, 8 November 2014 (UTC))

Sockpuppet investigation
[edit]Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Pearljambandaid, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
