A belated welcome!
[edit]Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Sonic4321. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Contributing to Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
- Editor's index to Wikipedia
Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.
Again, welcome! Steel1943 (talk) 01:00, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. Your edits have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Sonic, we have been giving you a lot of leeway here. I strongly encourage you to discuss changes and reversions; your actions are becoming disruptive and will result in a block if you continue to use popup reversions on good faith edits with clear edit summaries. Dekimasuよ! 02:39, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
Deleting the comments of others from article talk pages
[edit]Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Level-5 (video game company). Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Dekimasuよ! 02:41, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
Rcat removal
[edit]I was wondering if you could please explain why you removed Rcats in Special:Diff/638419850. It is a redirect to a section, so I think that should be included. The character one may be debatable, as it is a title. The unprintworthyness may be debatable, as well, but there are probably better redirects to include in a printed version. I know these are only shown if you open the collapsed box, but they are still useful. —PC-XT+ 04:09, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
- You rather seem to be making a habit of this, witness this recent edit, which I'll now revert. I'm assuming good faith, which in this case means that you don't know what you're doing, so please stop doing it! Favonian (talk) 18:37, 15 February 2015 (UTC)

Unexplained reverts
[edit]I'm puzzled by all your edits like this one. Are there not female protagonists in these games? I recall that there are, and you didn't give any edit summaries, so I was confused on this. Any insight? Sergecross73 msg me 12:12, 19 September 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Microsoft 7
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Microsoft 7, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. - Champion (talk) (contribs) (Formerly TheChampionMan1234) 06:50, 19 April 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, some changes are controversial and should be discussed with other editors before being made. At least one of your edits, such as the one you made to IPhone 5SE, appears to have gone against established consensus and has been reverted. Please check the article's talk page for discussion about this topic with other editors. If you wish, you can open or continue the discussion there to help establish consensus for your edits. Be sure to check the welcome page to learn more about how Wikipedia operates, and feel free to ask any questions. Thank you. Steel1943 (talk) 17:44, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
Windows NT 6.4
[edit]Why did you remove the Rcat from the redirect Windows NT 6.4? Could you explain how specifically my choice was incorrect in the context of established Wikipedia conventions? Or were you objecting to the process of redirect categorization in general?
I am aware that the current convention is to use {{redr|from former name}}
, but removal is not the proper solution to that. --SoledadKabocha (talk) 04:30, 25 July 2016 (UTC)

Internet Explorer 12
[edit]There is no actual version of Internet Explorer after Internet Explorer 11, so this should not be the target for Internet Explorer 12. Minecraft redirect
[edit]There is no point that I can see in having a page called Minecraft (disambiguation) that only contains a redirect to Minecraft. No-one is going to type that disam bit in, and the Minecraft link will come up in the search bar before they even finish the first word. If you have a very good reason why it should exist, let's have it. Otherwise, it's deletable as an implausible redirect or as a disam page containing only one entry. If you have other things that could be valid parts of a disam page, put them in. But we can't have a title placeholder in the meantime. Peridon (talk) 13:31, 29 October 2016 (UTC)
