Hi. I think this is a wrong move. Just some days ago, an admin has deleted Conical Hill because [accidentally] searching with uppercase takes the reader to another article. That namespace should be kept empty, so that searches route the reader to Conical hill. That's why the disambiguation page was created with the "(disambiguation)" portion in the title. I will be reverting the move shortly... Please discuss here or on the talkpage, if you disagree. Rehman 01:43, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Bi-directional vehicle requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. —Largo Plazo (talk) 01:52, 10 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, see WP:TRANSLATETOHERE for the two paths available for having an article on another Wikipedia translated into English and placed here. One of the paths does involve creating the article as you did, but you have to make it at least a valid stub. If you do that before the article is deleted, then you can challenge the deletion and point this out on the Talk page. Otherwise, you can create it again. However, if you don't have material for a stub, you can take the Articles for Creation route. —Largo Plazo (talk) 01:57, 10 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Freedomwilling: May I ask if your identity is Alan Walker, the person who the article you were trying to edit is about? If so, there is a conflict of interest in your edits (click the link to learn more, and also read the information about ghostwriting). Also, you have to follow our policies about biographies of living persons, which is why it has been reverted, as there is no source to justify your edits. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any more questions or concerns. Thanks! <<< SOME GADGET GEEK >>> (talk) 18:45, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Spam?

[edit]

Providing the link to Google's Fi Facebook page isn't spam ? It's no different than linking to the main Google page that is already there...

It's not allowed in most cases like these. Please read Links normally to be avoided. This isn't Google's official page and besides, it's a closed group. <<< SOME GADGET GEEK >>> (talk) 00:42, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You are welcome to stalk and comment on my talk page, but please don't bite the newcomers. Rachel is a typically clueless new editor and not at all like the guy we have been talking about. Who by the way, may be quacking back over at Gibsonville. Although her name is out there, how is it offensive? She is referring to herself as a whore, and that falls squarely in the category of her business, don't you think? If she wants to self-depreciate, that's on her. Please remove your UAA report. It will most likely be declined anyway. John from Idegon (talk) 19:05, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
