Fair use rationale for File:KIM.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:KIM.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 22:09, 9 January 2011 (UTC)

Khmer Writers' Association
Hi Soman. l added an ALT1 hook at dyk. The article really intrigued me, especially as I started it at the time of wikipedia's 10th anniversary. It made me think about all the potential writers in Cambodia and the content they could add to wikipedia if they had the resources. As the membership of this organization is so small, and apparently they are poorly funded, I can only hope they find a way to prosper and swell their ranks. Cheers, --Rosiestep (talk) 18:46, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
question about reviewing DYK submissions
Hello Soman. With respect to my DYK submission for Low Head Lighthouse, I have provided inline citations for the two passages in question, as you requested. On a slightly different note: I have very little experience so far in reviewing the DYK submissions of other editors. Perhaps you can help me here. You have previously made the assertion that
"...for DYK all passages needs to have at least one reference."
- Can you please show me where this guideline is written, because I cannot find it either at DYK criteria or at DYK rules.
- If DYK reviewers impose requirements on editors that are more stringent than those written in the DYK criteria or the DYK rules and the submitting editor feels that these requirements are unreasonable, what recourse does he/she have? Having this information will assist me when I review the DYK submissions of other editors.
Thanks for your help! DiverDave (talk) 22:03, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
- Hi. Sorry for the late reply, I've been tied up in non-wiki work this week. The reference is to D2 at Wikipedia:Did you know/Additional rules. As per what happens if one reviewer has more or less stringent interpretation of DYK criteria, the opinion of one reviewer is by no means necessarily decisive. Another editor can add a different comment. In the end, its up to the admin updating the DYK prep area to decide which hooks are ready to move there. --Soman (talk) 12:59, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
