[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Functional medicine. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Alexbrn talk|contribs|COI 15:15, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
Hi Alexbrn - thank you for the comment. I'm a bit confused as I don't think I reverted anything... I didn't think I was in an edit war. I just thought there wasn't much info on the page and I wanted to contribute. Seems like maybe I joined the war unknowingly? I just made my own edits and they were all reversed. I didn't look into the history of the page. But now looking at it, maybe I made some edits that others have before. Anyway, thanks again and I'll check it out on the talk page. - Hi there! There's potentially a problem if an editor repeatedly changes to a preferred "version" of the article, it's best if changes get reverted (especially if they repeatedly do) to open up some discussion on the article talk page. A lot of editors like to follow the WP:BRD convention too. Alexbrn talk|contribs|COI 15:25, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for engaging on talk and doing so in a collegial and collaborative manner. I think the key points have been mentioned but they bear repeating. Sources and for biomedical information WP:MEDRS. If you bring sources to talk, I think you will find it much easier to establish consensus (which isn't majority rule, but community interpretation of policy and evaluation of arguments and sources). Welcome to WP and I hope you enjoy editing. If you start contributing to an article and find yourself getting reverted, post rationale for edits on talk. That will go a long way in bolstering your case. - - MrBill3 (talk) 17:04, 7 November 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Biking for Babies
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Biking for Babies, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
