1st Half of 2008
UMD Notable Alumni
I don't know how to contact you, but being a "fan" of White Castle does not qualify you as a Notable Alumnus of UMD. That is absurd. But not half as bad as claiming to be heavyweight Thumbwrestling champion of an unknown league that appears you are the only titleholder in. Please leave the section for people who really have put an honest effort and have accomplished something noteable and significant. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.19.175.52 (talk) 03:53, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- Additionally, this addition needs to be sourced. Even so, I still think it is not worthy of inclusion.—Noetic Sage 20:41, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
You have been repeatedly removed from the University of Minnesota Duluth and Saint Joseph's University page, by multiple users. It should be clear to you by now that there is a general consensus that in no way do you count as a notable alumnus of these institutions, and repeatedly re-adding yourself may constitute Vandalism. If you wish to readd yourself, you should add something to the talk pages, to establish why you are at the same level as the other notable alumni, instead of just undoing other people's edits. - Shadowsill (talk) 03:47, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Thumb Wrestling
If you can find any Reliable Sources establishing the ITWA as a legitimate and Notable association, then your edits to the thumb wrestling page would be acceptable. Since the ITWA does not currently have its own Wikipedia page, it seems that it does not satisfy Wikipedia's notability requirements, and hence mentioning it on the thumb wrestling page is currently inappropriate. - Shadowsill (talk) 03:47, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
WikiProject Podcasting
Hi Slyder Pilot, I noticed you were on the list as a member of WikiProject Podcasting! 2008 brings new updates to the project, such as Wikipedia 1.0 article assessment ratings, and new podcast infoboxes editors are working on.
In order to help us know who is working on writing, sourcing, rating articles, and in general helping out the project, I encourage you to check out the WP:PODCAST main page and move your name into the 2008 members list. If you'd like to still be part, but have a more indirect involvement on the project, feel free to leave your name on the former members list. Of course, if you're too busy with other commitments and wish to leave the project, simply remove your name. We'll sure miss you though! :)
The year ahead we would like to focus our energy on not only improving articles, but also provide WP:RS reliable sources to ensure each article meets WP:V verifiability.
All the best and happy podcasting. --Breno talk 10:07, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Hello Slyder Pilot/Archive 6!
You are cordially invited to participate in WikiProject Christianity
The goal of WikiProject Christianity is to improve the quality and quantity of information about Christianity available on Wikipedia. WP:X as a group does not prefer any particular tradition or denominination of Christianity, but prefers that all Christian traditions are fairly and accurately represented. |
You are receiving this invitation because you are a member of one of the related Christianity Projects and I thought that you might be interested in this project also - Tinucherian (talk) 11:58, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Happy First Edit Day fellow Wikipedian!
Best wishes from Canada! ;-) --RobNS 04:04, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
userbox relocation
Hi, just a heads-up that a userbox you have on your pages (media is brainwashing tool) has changed location to User:Sappho'd/Userboxes/MainMediaBS
Cheers. Drywontonmee (talk) 09:57, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
You know better than to add a made up organization to this article. You've been warned repeatedly, and I won't hesitate to block you if you do it again. It's disruptive and highly inappropriate. Rklawton (talk) 04:30, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
