Need your help.
Hey. Do you know where i can get help to reduce the size of this article or can you help rename this to lowercase. Look at this article —The preceding unsigned comment was added by SkyWalker (talk • contribs) 20:22, 21 January 2007 (UTC).

Good call. I hadn't thought of it, but it looks much cleaner that way. Georgewilliamherbert 21:41, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Reasoning?
Any reason why you deleted a whole bunch of fansites and reference links from the Alan Wake page? You left all but one fansite link and some of the ones you deleted off were actually the leading fansites for the game. I would like to know your reason behind this please, if I don't get a response in 48 hours I will readd them all back. Saiger 21:07, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- Update
I have re-added the fansites and reference links you deleted off the page. Please in the future do NOT delete information without researching or validating the links. Saiger 19:13, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- I have reported your actions to an admin -- continously deleting ALL links is not the correct way of going about this. Saiger 23:00, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- I have been contacted by an admin and I will discuss this with the official Alan Wake community site on which links should be cut and which should be kept. In the future I would really appreciate if you would put proper reasoning rather than saying "Spam links" and when asked about it saying your reason after I give you 48 hours grace and also then straight away going and deleting ALL the links, which acts as vandalism. Thankyou.Saiger 23:16, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Kara Borden
Just so you know, the link you gave for the birthday for Kara Borden is actually the date that the wikipedia article gave when it was last cached. To quote it directly, under the birthday listed it says: "According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kara_Borden". Please find a proper source and source it, as this is mandatory per Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. Thank you. Cowman109Talk 20:24, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Maneesh Gupta
Good job spotting that one. I've deleted the article and given the user a warning. When it about obviously non-notable people, you can add a tag like {{db-bio}} to the article, and an administrator would soon check the article and take action. More specific tags can be placed, depending on the article, as listed at WP:CSD. Also, if he keeps adding his name to the Gupta page again, just report his username/ip to WP:AIV, after warning them through suitable templates from WP:TM. That will guarantee speedy action. Cheers!--thunderboltz(Deepu) 10:02, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Medievaltotalwar2boxshot.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:Medievaltotalwar2boxshot.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Ruth Wilson
hey, just wondering why you keep removing those two links? Amo 09:27, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- Cool, i hadn't realised that site was "under constuction". I didn't know you weren't supposed to link to Yahoo. Can't see anything about it here - is there official precedent?|||| —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Amoammo (talk • contribs) 09:41, 6 February 2007 (UTC).
ah, ok. but the fansite that is still linked is ok? Amo 10:35, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Do I understand that the reason for for removing the two links is because one is still under construction (RuthWilson.info) and the YahooGroup is a Wikipedia convention not to link to it? If so, I will redo your link removal edits assuming that once the non-Yahoo fan site is live it can be added back to the wikipedia page. Is this all correct?
Also why is wikipedia not supposed to link back to Yahoo? I am curious.
Crysis
Hey thanks for helping. I am new to Wikipedia and don't know how to put tags on pictures. I got them from Crysis-Online.com and I even emailed the webmaster and he said that it would be wonderful If I used some of the pictures on the website. Thanks again for your help. --Buffonitaly 15:58, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Question.
Hey could you check this link. If you see carefully all video is linked to youtube. It seems to be a full video. It is illegal to post copyright video in wikipedia. Should i add a delete tag or you going to delete or should it be like this?. --SkyWalker 07:03, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- I have copied this to my sandbox :) I find that only links to the full video has been posted in Wikipedia, and perhaps it is not any infringement of copyright. Uploading the full video to Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons without the permission of copyright holders will be a violation of copyright. However, you are requested to seek opinions of others too. Thanks. --Bhadani 08:13, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Did you also take off that reed was engaged to that chick. Ive taken it off like 12 times and it keeps getting put back up there.

I noticed that while I was typing/reading to add some reviews to this article, you made an edit, then , 5 minutes later, reverted it with the edit summary "Do what ever you like. This article is the worst article in wikipedia.". Though I agree with the observation that the Supreme Commander article is in no relation to the popularity and notability of the game, I want to state my reasons for adding a second system requirements table:
- System requirements and performance have been stated as issues with SupCom in several reviews.
- The infobox at the top was very big and ugly with both minimum and recommended system requirements. I changed system requirements in the infobox to a style like the one Age of Empires III uses, a GA.
- Throughout the article, there is a lot of text dealing with hardware and system requirements (intro, infobox, interface, development, and reception) - I thought a single space with an overview of all that information would be useful, especially as a reference when reading about the features the game offers with different hardware configurations.
Also, I want to thank you for your numerous contributions to the Supreme Commander article. I'm trying (as of today!) to bring SupCom up to FA status, and that's hard to do alone. If you have any ideas or suggestions, don't hesitate to add them on the talk page. Particularly, I'm looking for feedback on the recent changes to the sections I did - I found the number of first level headers too large.
I would appreciate if any response would be placed on my talk page (or notify me there when there is a response here), or the Supreme Commander talk page.

Atari
The 'Atari History Museum' link might be a valid one to keep. Just saying. HalfShadow 17:19, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- In actuality, Atari Museum and Atari Gaming Headquarters are directly affiliated with Atari themselves besides being well known archive/historical reference sites for a good 10 years. They're hardly "Advertising links". --Marty Goldberg 17:47, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Gametap is the only way to get these games
I put it with systems because with addition to a pc they must have Gametap to access said games I don't care if you don't have it in consoles but I think that there should be some notification that these are gametap games Marioman12 19:01, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi SkyWalker,
Just got your message regarding links that I've added to various Wiki game pages and that were all removed.
I understand your point and of course you need to keep up with only a few of quality links rather allowing it to become a link farm.
However, for most of those games, we hold most mods for instance, and all are freely available for download without any hassle. So I do not see a real problem with using our links. We have 2 dedicated servers each on 100mbits for which we are paying out pretty nice sum of money.
Sorry, just trying to make points to back up our link placements.
For World of Warcraft for instance we have 467 mods, 130 patches, 65 movies and 17 various files. Not to mention everything else.
We've been on the games market for 7 years and have around 30 people that are more less daily involved in game content adding on Strategy Informer. Wiki has shown to be a great source of people. So I would like to find some way that we can work together?
Thank you for your time and hope to hear from you back.
Best Regards,

SkyWalker,
Glad to hear that you visit us.
Regarding links placements, our time is limited, so we can not really initiate discussions for all games that we need to add a single link to. this appears to be your policy so of course, what could I do here. We were struggling with Wiki for some time and our staff complained about such removals so I went on a journey to see what's it all about. Appearantly I had even worst luck since ALL the links I added were removed.
Bottom line, SkyWalker, are you interested in doing such links discussions in order to get our links placed for us, for payment? Would you as well be interested in joining our staff? We are looking for 1 new person. In the past week we found 2 more staff people for the site. So we are really on a look out for new people.
I am certain that we deserve to have our links placed there, and it just doesn't make sense to try to since they have 95% of chances to be removed. But Wiki is great source of people and if it takes one person dedicated for doing that, we are willing to give it a try, even for an extra fee.
Please let me know.
Thank you,
Hello SkyWalker.
WikiProject Strategy games finished it's first collaboration on Risk (game). We have voted for possible candidates for the next collaboration, and three finalists have been selected:
If possible, please vote here on which of these articles to collaborate on. Thank you.
I reverted your changes on Battlefield due to the guidelines at WP:MOSDP, if you have any further questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page or on the disambiguation's talk page. McKay 19:18, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for reverting Spyware
Hello, thanks for reverting spyware, I kept getting "database is locked for maintenance" notices so I couldn't revert the article. Thanks again! --Kyoko 17:07, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Overuse of "minor edit" flag"
Thanks for this addition to Neverwinter Nights 2, it looks like a useful addition. However, you marked it as a "minor edit." Per the guidelines for minor edits, you should only mark edits that way for superficial differences. Adding new content, as you did, definitely isn't minor. When in doubt, don't mark edits as minor. — Alan De Smet | Talk 00:02, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
WP Christianity
Hi, I saw your name on the WikiProject Christianity Membership page.
I've made some changes to the WP Christianity main project page, added several sup-project pages, created a few task forces section, and proposed several more possible changes so that we can really start making some serious progress on the project. Please stop by and see my comments on the project talk page here and consider joining a task force or helping out with improving and contributing to our sub-projects. Thanks for your time! Removing 'vandalism'
I am sick and tired of people reverting edits that make an article more accurate. So don't do that. And reserve the word 'vandalism' for appropriate occasions, such as, possibly, some of your own 'contributions' —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 192.38.17.48 (talk) 10:37, 8 May 2007 (UTC).
- Could you point out the article ?. I usually check the article before reverting the article. --SkyWalker 10:39, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- Well i found out the article which your are referring. The article Bengal Tiger that you have edit contain nonsense such has " Bachelor of Powalgarh, thought to be 'as big as a donkey' by some who saw it". What sort of information is this?. This is not at all encyclopedic. If you still disprove the edit. Then get me a proper reliable link. Till then i would say it is a vandalism and will revert the article now. --SkyWalker 10:44, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, I actually owe you an apology. I thought your reversion was a kneejerk reaction, something I see a lot on wikipedia. Having read your reply I see that it was a fair attempt to preserve the quality of an article. The reference you request is: Jim Corbett, Man-eaters of Kumaon, p 92, Oxford University Press 1947. Here the tiger in question is described by a Huish Edye, an aide of Corbett, as 'big as a donkey'. Fred Anderson, a hunter like Corbett, describes it as 'as big as a Shetland pony'. A picture of the dead tiger in the book supports the impression that it is a very large specimen. Whether you agree that it makes sense to mention this tiger as an example of very large Northern Bengal tigers, it is worth the mention that Northern Bengals may indeed be as large as Siberian tigers. I suppose that the jury is still out on if this actually is so, so to speak, but suggesting that this may be the case is certainly not unfounded. I also see no reason not to specify that the largest wild Bengal tiger shot (and, to support the hypothosis I put forward, this is the heaviest, verified, wild tiger shot anywhere), weighed 388 kg (instead of 'almost 390 kg'), when this is the weight listed in the Guinness Book of Records. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 192.38.17.48 (talk) 16:28, 8 May 2007 (UTC).
Thanks

Omikron Game
Was noticed you removed a link to the site that contains most complete information about game. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Omikron:_The_Nomad_Soul&diff=93361872&oldid=91512831 May I recomend to open it before deleting next time, or edit link under the right police? There even no advertisment no one page. I need no additional visitors. But this is very old game and very rare resources can keep even a 10% that facts. I was with them till 1996 and still looking for that studio and their projects. Im not english native. And it can be very hard to me write here most complete info. Sorry for my english and mail wasn't shows to me so i was written here. Please delete it after reading. Best regards, UL (owner of Omikron Game -Quantic Dream fan-site).
- Hmmm, Fine go ahead and add them has you wish --SkyWalker 08:42, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Vertex4
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Vertex4, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. David Eppstein 16:49, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
- I've re-nominated the article for deletion. I was planning on doing it anyway when David Eppstein beat me to it. The point is that it is not notable today, and may never become so - see WP:NOT#CRYSTALBALL. Mrand 12:01, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
