Hi,
Thank you for creating a new account. However, I noticed that you continue to make the same change to the article. Instead, can you please go to Talk:Voice of Russia and post at the bottom of the page explaining exactly why the current article is inaccurate and how you think it should be changed. If possible, please provide sources that can verify the information you have provided. Thanks, GabrielF (talk) 08:09, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
Welcome and a few notes
[edit]Hi, Tina
Sorry for the rough start but you have entered a difficult area of wikipedia: editing with a conflict of interests. Please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, it is very important in your case. In the nutshell, we do not people with a conflict of interests (especially PR managers of large organizations) to turn Encyclopedia into a collection of advertisements. It is really difficult to edit neutrally if you have a conflict of interests, thus please report all the factual inaccuracies, omitions, etc. on the talk page Talk:Voice of Russia and somebody neutral would attend to it.
Another policy you happen to trip on is WP:SOCK - it is forbidden to edit the same article from different accounts. I have blocked User: Голос России to solve this problem. It is a bad name for English Wiki anyway - it is in Cyrillic and looks very similar to the name of an organization.
Thirdly all additions of factual material should be sourced to reliable sources see WP:RS and WP:ATT. Please note that Voice of Russia could not be a source of info about itself. The reference should go to neutral sources.
I must add that there are a few millions articles there you do not have conflicts of interests and you are welcome to edit them all.
Welcome once more and sorry for the rough start Alex Bakharev (talk) 08:45, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
Здравствуйте! Извините, если я неправильно редактировала страницу, это исключительно от недопонимания принципов работы Википедии. Hello!
Sorry if I'm wrong edited the page, it's only from a misunderstanding of the principles of Wikipedia. Maybe you tell me how to be in this situation? Leaders instructed me to correct outdated information about the company on language Wikipedia pages, which sources I rely in this case?
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 11:18, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
Please discuss your proposed changes at the article Talk page at the bottom of the page. Specify what material you think the article should include. Be sure to mention what parts you feel are outdated or not accurate. - LuckyLouie (talk) 12:01, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
