[edit]Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Henshaw (surname)—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 17:06, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
Why is the added name seen as irrelevant? I add Professor Michael Henshaw BSc. (Hons), PhD, MBA, MRAeS, MINCOSE, MIEEE, MIEHF because he is notible in his field and a member of a Natio group. Siduiehd9emiles (talk) 17:27, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
The page Draft:Michael Henshaw has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from https://www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/meme/staff/michael-henshaw/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion Review — Diannaa (talk) 12:29, 1 November 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to George Farmer. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Samf4u (talk) 15:56, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
- Samf4u, while I agree with the revert (see Wikipedia:Teahouse#What_makes_something_vandalism?), it's nothing close to WP:Vandalism, is it? Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 18:36, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
George farmer is a famous aquascaper form the UK and YouTube personality with over 100,000 subscribers, I believed this not be vandalism. But if it is, please correct me. Siduiehd9emiles (talk) 15:59, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
- I don't think it's vandalism either, but as noted at the Teahouse, George Farmer is basically a list of WP-articles about people named George Farmer. If you want to try to make an article about "your" George Farmer, WP:BLP, WP:YFA and WP:YTN may be of help. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 18:42, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
Hi guys, I made a mistake leaving that template warning message. Weather or not this George Farmer is notable enough for his own article I can't say. Please feel free to remove the warning. - Samf4u (talk) 20:22, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
Siduiehd9emiles, you are invited to the Teahouse!

[edit]Hello, I'm Gab4gab. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Loughborough Schools Foundation, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Gab4gab (talk) 17:15, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
My opinion on Draft:George Farmer (aquascaper), worth every penny you paid for it
[edit]Plus-point: The FT-ref is excellent. But not enough. I looked around for more stuff useful from the WP:N-perspective, but the only thing I found was [1], and that looks like a pressrelease, so not independent of topic. If you haven't checked WP:GNG and WP:BASIC, they tell you where the bar is. I see he's about to release a book, that may generate better coverage of him in the future.
