The Sarang family moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, The Sarang family, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Ragas in Hindustani classical music, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kanada (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

A tag has been placed on Gara (raag), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Creating WikiProjects

[edit]

Hi. I see you've been spending a lot of time lately on Wikipedia:Mission spreading Hindustani classical music. The first thing I'd say is that we don't have "missions" to "spread" anything on Wikipedia, we have WikiProjects to enhance collaboration on an encyclopedia. If you're wanting to "spread" anything then you're in the wrong place. Otherwise I'd suggest renaming it to a WikiProject. However before doing any more work I strongly suggest you read Wikipedia:WikiProject_Council/Guide#Creating_a_WikiProject first. Note that it says
"to avoid the proliferation of unused and underutilized WikiProjects, it is strongly recommended that those interested in starting a WikiProject read the guidance below and propose their project at the proposal page. ....If your project doesn't already exist, it's time to look for editors with similar interests. This is the most important step. You must find people who want to work together on the project with you....If you can't find other editors with similar interests, consider joining a current project instead. Single-editor projects tend to have short lives.".
I'd emphasise that last bit - it may seem that projects are about articles, but in fact they're about people. The best projects come out of a group of existing editors wanting to find a dedicated place to talk, but time after time we've seen one editor trying to promote a topic through the means of a project and it just doesn't work. Not least because as you're finding, there's a lot of time required to set up a project from scratch - time that could be spent improving articles.
I'd also note that work has already been done for WP:WikiProject Indian music. I strongly recommend you work within the framework of WP:INMUSIC rather than starting from zero. Cheers. Le Deluge (talk) 16:10, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes sir you are right. I have added my name in the Wikipedia:WikiProject Indian music and I am thankful to you for giving the name of this project. I get a little excited when I get opportunities for doing something for Hindustani classical music. I thought of this project not literally as a mission. I have just given it a name as Mission spreading Hindustani classical music. My plan is to list all th uncreated pages related to Hindustani classical music. I gave also given the created pages I Hindustani classical music. So classical music lovers will get an aim for creating uncreated pages. I didn't see this aim in the Wikipedia:WikiProject Indian music page. Please forgive me if I have said something wrong g about you or anyone. Please also correct my page about Wikipedia:Mission spreading Hindustani classical music so that the page gets a proper guidance of someone. Sorry for the delayed response. Thank you sir for your correct guidance. Thank you again 🙏 ShubhanTelang (talk) 10:35, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I would even contribute for Wikipedia:WikiProject Classical music. So Hindustani classical music gets a fast boost. Thank you. ShubhanTelang (talk) 10:38, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Le Deluge, should this be a task force or its own WikiProject? Should it cover Indian classical music or Hindustani classical music? I think it should be a task force in INMUSIC. I would structure it like the light novels task force WP:LN where it's mainly under the Indian music but also crosses with WikiProject Classical Music. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 04:47, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies, I've not had much Wiki time lately - and ShubhanTelang, it really helps if you use a {{ping}} template to notify me of discussions here as AngusWOOF did. Having seen what works and what doesn't, I'd emphasise that line above about "Single-editor projects tend to have short lives" - a successful project needs a wide base of editors to be successful, they work from the bottom-up rather than top-down. I'd also note that a Project is a lot more work to set up properly than a taskforce. So given that even WP:INMUSIC is barely working, I'd keep it as general as possible (ie Indian classical music rather than just Hindustani) - and seriously consider not even setting up anything formal at all at this stage, just work within WP:INMUSIC. That way you have more visibility than if you are in a specialist ghetto, and what you need right now is visibility, not lots of work setting up a project.
Also think of your readers - not what you want to do. What readers new to the subject want are high-quality overview articles, not lots of empty stub articles. Overview articles like Hindustani classical music are really difficult to do well, but if you want to spread the word about this kind of music in English, then that is the kind of thing that you should concentrate on. Don't get too hung up on creating lots of articles that don't exist yet, again it just diverts energy into maintenance rather than working on the articles your readers want. If there is an equivalent project on Hindi Wikipedia then I'd just make a list of the Top and High importance articles there and make sure they have equivalents on en.wiki - but I wouldn't go further than that. Think quality more than quantity - work on getting Hindustani classical music up to WP:GA standard, then do the same for the major concepts - {{Hindustani Classical Music sidebar}} has a convenient list. You don't need a special project for any of that, and it's a much more productive use of your time.Le Deluge (talk) 12:21, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Course:1

[edit]

Hello, ShubhanTelang,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Dr. Kadzi, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Course:1, for deletion, because it is a very short article that doesn't provide readers with enough context to determine who or what the subject is.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Dr. Kadzi}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Notice

The article Course:1 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is WP:NOTGUIDE and no WP:RELIABLE sources

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ~ Amkgp 💬 14:59, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Course:Introduction requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.sankalpaarts.com/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

~ Amkgp 💬 15:03, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A word of encouragement

[edit]

Classical music of the Subcontinent is a hugely important subject which is very poorly covered in all Wikipedias. (If you think English Wikipedia is bad, look at any of the corresponding articles, if they exist, in any of the Subcontinental languages. I'm a DABfixer. Do you want to know how many times I've found useful information in Hindi Wikipedia? Zero. In Urdu? One. In Bangla, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil or Telugu? Maybe 6 or 8 among them.) See List of Ragas in Hindustani classical music, and its equivalents, in Bangla, Dutch [sic], Hindi and Sinhalese (only), to see what I mean.

English Wikipedia requires sources. We don't care what language they're in, so long as they're WP:Verifiable. I would much rather see a reference by a respected Indian scholar in a non-Latin script than one in English by someone who doesn't know what they're talking about.

It can be discouraging to have articles rejected at WP:AFC. My advice - get articles about raags/ragas/rags locked into Hindi (or whatever) Wikipedia first. English Wikipedia can catch up later; a good solid article in the base language is useful to everyone. Yrs, Narky Blert (talk) 20:15, 12 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dear sir, I respect your advice and I like your advice of making good solid article in a base language that is useful to everyone. I admire your love towards classical music. I had created a project page related to Tabla. This project is incomplete. Also many of my articles I feel are incomplete. In this case I feel first to complete these articles because if a reader comes across these articles having incomplete and half information, he/she may get wrong and incorrect information which no wiki editor would like. Right now I am focusing on completing these incomplete articles and once I complete these articles, I will definitely work on your suggestion.

Help requested

[edit]

Is this something you can help with? There are two bad links in Do Bigha Zamin#Songs. Bhairavi presumably means one of the items listed at Bhairavi (disambiguation)#Music. The article on the film Komal Gandhar helpfully translates the title as "A Soft Note on a Sharp Scale"; which gives me a general idea of the meaning, but I can't think of an equivalent term in Western music.

Aalaap is a film. Based on the translation of the title in that article, I piped the link to modulation (music); which, although about Western music, seems to represent the same idea.

Thanks in advance, Narky Blert (talk) 08:19, 8 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Narky Blert: Hey hii. Thank you for informing me. I have made the necessary changes. Please review that page again Do Bigha Zamin#Songs. I changed komal gandhar and made it a redirect to page Gāndhāra because komal gandhar is related to Gāndhāra. I even changed aalaap movie to Aalap, (which is related to Hindustani classical music) which was the correct meaning for that section the page. The bhairavi part was a little difficult for me to understand what the editor meant while editing that section. So I made Bhairavi the link of Bhairavi (raga) as you has suggested. I am not actually satisfied with this Bhairavi part of the section of the page but I tried to correct each link. Please review that page again. Thank you. Another puzzle

[edit]

Bhairavi, again; this time the article is Vadi (music). (A colleague looks for bad links to WP:PTOPICs, and I look at the problems he's failed to solve. We are WikiGnomes.)

The problem for me is that Vadi mentions both Carnatic and Hindustani classical music in the opening sentence. Further, the sentence in question suggests that Bhairavi is a "Pa Dha Ni" rag, whereas Bhairavi (Hindustani) is said to be a "Ma" rag; which I understand to be for afternoon and evening, not for night and morning. (Experienced WikiGnomes know when to cry out for help rather than to guess.)

Vadi also distinguishes between Bhairav and Bhairavi - are these the same or different? There's also the problem with Bilaa0wal, which looks like an impossible name, with a zero in the middle.

Thanks in advance, Narky Blert (talk) 17:10, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Narky Blert: Hey hii. Thank you for informing me. I have made the necessary changes. Please review that page again Vadi (music). The Bilaa0wal was surely a typing error because there is no raga named like this. The correct name for this word was Bilawal which is a raga.

Vadi also distinguishes between Bhairav and Bhairavi - are these the same or different? The answer is no. Bhairav and Bhairavi are two different ragas. The vadi and samvadi svaras of these two ragas is also different. The Bhairavi part, I changed Bhairavi to Bhairavi (raga).

You said that "Bhairavi is a "Pa Dha Ni" rag, whereas Bhairavi (Hindustani) is said to be a "Ma" rag" which was a correct mistake spotted. The editor forgot to write Ma in the first statement. So it should be Bhairavi is a "Ma Pa Dha Ni" rag. The purvanga consists of Ma Pa Dha Ni and not just Pa Dha Ni. So automatically the condition of the vadi svara of Bhairavi is fulfilled. So all the changes are done. Please review that page again. Thank you. Yrs ShubhanTelang (talk) 05:39, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks! Narky Blert (talk) 06:00, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit reversion

[edit]

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 14:04, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Sphilbrick: Hey. Ok .... thanks for informing. I think yeah some information and links which I had provided as references may be having copyright issues. But I think all of the information which was added, was not completely having copyright issues. It is true that some were into copyright issues, but at the same time, some weren't too. So I feel that some information should be retyped (which doesn't have a copyright issue.) What do you think about this sir? Please opine.

If you say yes for this opinion of retyping certain not copyrighted information in that page, then I can or maybe you can (if you have the non copyrighted information ready as you reverted it) retype that information again to better the page of Pt. Nayan Ghosh. Please opine on this too sir. Yrs, ShubhanTelang (talk) 17:20, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ShubhanTelang, There are far too many copyright reports (several hundred each week) to expect a reviewer to tease out the offending texts from non-offending text, and figure out how to rewrite in a coherent way. if we find an edit that is substantially comprised of a copyright violation, not only is that edit fully reverted but all consecutive edits by the same editor are reverted. You are encouraged to redo the edit without a violation of copyright but the burden is on you not the reviewer. I can imagine that some might think that's unfair but I am certain that people who think it's unfair aren't dealing with hundreds of situations every week. S Philbrick(Talk) 23:19, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sphilbrick, I understand that you are very busy with your Wikipedia work of reviewing. I feel you agree to my opinion of retyping certain not copyrighted information in this page, Pt. Nayan Ghosh. So I will start adding the non copyrighted information with atmost care and awareness. Once the page is ready, I request you to please review it again, so that to check whether there are any copyright issues and then to again to change those or maybe inform me to change those if you really busy. Let's aim to better the page of Pt. Nayan Ghosh. Yrs, ShubhanTelang (talk) 03:54, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. Final warning

[edit]

You now after more than five thousand edits should well know better than to write something like the following. one of the most brilliant young tabla performers (no "most brilliant"), Son and disciple of the renowned (no "renowned", and "son" suffices), legendary stalwart (no "legendary", and "musician" rather than "stalwart"), and on and on from there. If you write promotional material like this once again, you will be blocked from editing. Wikipedia articles must be strictly neutral and never "talk up" anyone or anything. Seraphimblade Talk to me 02:16, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Seraphimblade: Hi, I didn't actually meant to promote anybody or any information. Being in wikipedia, I now know (after reading your message) that one should write in a neutrality way. Actually the information I wrote was majorly from this link ' http://ishaanghosh.com/aboutus.php ', and I never had created such a page of an living entity. This was my first page that I created and edited. Please could you undo the deleting part of the page Ishaan Ghosh? I was unaware of the things which you messaged me. I would redit all the promotional material and instead give the page a neutral look. I am telling you to undo the deleting part of the page Ishaan Ghosh because he is one of the best Tabla players and it is sad to know that there is no page in wikipedia for these living entities. I agree that there should not be any promotional information in any page, but I was unaware of it. So could you undo the deleted page? Yrs, ShubhanTelang (talk) 03:58, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You will need to find substantial amounts of reliable and, critically, independent material regarding this individual in order to write about them. If such material does not exist in a substantial amount, Wikipedia should not have an article about them at all since they would not be notable. It is of course understandable that material written on the individual's own website would be promotional towards them, but that is exactly why we would not use it as reference material. We want material written by someone who really doesn't care a bit about them. Seraphimblade Talk to me 05:22, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Seraphimblade: ok. Thank you. I will redit the page of Ishaan Ghosh without promotional material and copyright issues. Then will you please again review the page so as to check that the page is perfectly written with sources and no promotional material? Thank you again. Yrs, ShubhanTelang (talk) 07:24, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ishaan Ghosh requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://ishaanghosh.com/aboutus.php.

We have a policy of protecting editors' safety by hiding such information if they share it. I'm really sorry about having to suppress your edits, and I know it's annoying, but it's for the best. Please don't re-add the information. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at T. H. Vinayakram, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 20:28, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Dl2000: OK. Thank you for informing. Will add reliable references to the page Thetakudi Harihara Vinayakram. I had just added the word Vidwan before his and this musical title is given to him. Also I had removed the template which was at the start of the page. Sorry and thank you once again. ShubhanTelang (talk) 03:46, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nabeel Khan

[edit]

Hello , I would like you to make suitable changes in the draft so as to address the shortcomings that have been mentioned like.. resolve COI( I don't know which are the specific lines or sources that are causing COI), kindly add reliable sources (which I have but I don't know why this draft is being deleted again and again). Your help will be highly appreciated. Warm regards.Getthisdone (talk) 04:49, 14 July 2021 (UTC) Can you pls edit this draft?Getthisdone (talk) 05:09, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Getthisdone: Hello @Getthisdone, Could you please tell why is this Draft page moved to page Draft:ShubhanTelang. And what does this specific line mean - Warning: This page should probably be located at Draft:ShubhanTelang (move). I don't have any problem regarding you moving this page Nabeel Khan into Draft:ShubhanTelang, but I don't know what is expected from me now. Do I have to edit this Draft page and add reliable sources so as to make it an reliable sourced Article or do I have to just keep it as a draft? Please inform what do I have to do with this page!? Yrs, ShubhanTelang (talk) 03:38, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Getthisdone: Yes sure, I'll surely edit the page Nabeel Khan and add reliable sources to it. Thank you. ShubhanTelang (talk) 05:44, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Bonadea: ok, I'll edit the page Nabeel Khan and add reliable sources to it. Regards, ShubhanTelang (talk) 05:46, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ShubhanTelang, please note that Spotify is a self-published source and you should not use it to support information about a living person unless there is absolutely no reliable and secondary alternative source. --bonadea contributions talk 06:51, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Bonadea: ok, thank you for informing. But the information written on the page is taken only from the source Spotify. I couldn't find any other sources which has the same or related information. Probably this is only way to get back the article from Draft, because most of the information is taken from Spotify. ShubhanTelang (talk) 06:58, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Bonadea: Then what should I do now? ShubhanTelang (talk) 06:59, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, please stop editing so quickly, and use more descriptive edit summaries. Use Preview to check your edits, and don't publish the page each time you make a minor edit – all of us do so occasionally, but it is frustrating to get continuous edit conflicts because you have made three minor edits while someone else makes one more thorough edit. Secondly, please read WP:INDENT and try to remember to apply it when you post to talk and user talk pages. Thirdly, I have already removed the Spotify references so you don't need to do anything about it. Thanks, --bonadea contributions talk 07:06, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Bonadea: Ok. --ShubhanTelang (talk) 07:12, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Bonadea: Ok. --ShubhanTelang (talk) 07:12, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please indent your posts. Another thing: please take some time to check the references you add to the draft. In the list of "references" below the actual reference list there were some sources that could be useful, and several that are not. For instance, you added this as a reference, even though the exact same source, only published by a different outlet (this one), was already in the draft, and used as a source for the same piece of information! In general, it is almost never appropriate to have more than two or three citation markers at the same place, and self-published or other primary sources should then be discarded as far as possible. And, finally, if you add references, take a moment to format them properly. Thank you. --bonadea contributions talk 07:18, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Bonadea:@Getthisdone: Hey Guys, I have tried my level best to edit and add reliable sources to the page Draft:Nabeel Khan. As I previously told that most of the information of this page was taken from Spotify, and this source had no other substitute source. Unluckily Spotify was removed but still I have tried to add some other sources to make the Draft reliable. Let's hope for the best. Thanks and Regards, ShubhanTelang (talk) 07:18, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please indent your replies. You did not in fact address the source problem I explained in my previous post above. I have removed the duplicate sources as well as some other inappropriate sources, and formatted the bare URLs in the draft. It was not "unlucky" that Spotify was removed as a source – it was intentional, in order to improve the draft. You did read the information about self-published sources, I presume? --bonadea contributions talk 08:20, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I applaud your persistance, ShubhanTelang, but please focus on secondary sources, not primary sources, like the decline notice (below) says. Source texts are almost always copyrighted, that is not a problem, as long as we don't copy text from the source into Wikipedia. December 2021

[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Shadja a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. * Pppery * it has begun... 15:52, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Pppery: Hello. Thanks for the information. All the seven pages that I have created and was editing yesterday are all related to each other : Shadja, Rishabh, Gandhar, Madhyam Pancham, Dhaivat, Nishad. So if there is a need to change the names Shadja (svara) to Shadja and Madhyam (svara) to Madhyam then please the same for all the other five pages as well. This is to keep things generic. Or else I feel there is no need to change! Also one more thing, whatever decision is made please try to implement it as early as possible, so that the template from both the pages is removed. Thank you! ShubhanTelang (talk) 10:18, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Shrinivas Acharya moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Shrinivas Acharya, is not suitable as written to remain published. It appears there is a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 12:26, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
