Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself, at Draft:Ryan Sharman. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 13:06, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Did you just report my page to be deleted? What the hell??? Sharmo96 (talk) 13:41, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
Hello, I recently thought that I could come to Wikipedia with open arms however apparently this seems to not be the case. Other users harass and reject your ideas. I even had my personal page “deleted” because another user disagreed with the content... It was about me, tell me that I’m not notable??? Go bloody google me. I put out the good and the bad, Wikipedia advises against personal publications only if you are going to be putting out a biased based view. It should not be be up to other users to decide what is or isn’t worthy. This is just another platform for other people to bring others down and exclude whom ever they wish. Take your high class website and shove it... Have a great bloody day! Sharmo96 (talk) 00:24, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of User:Sharmo96
[edit]A tag has been placed on User:Sharmo96 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. [edit]Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:Sharmo96. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 14:15, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Help desk, you may be blocked from editing. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 00:13, 21 February 2020 (UTC)

. 331dot (talk) 11:08, 21 February 2020 (UTC)Wow
[edit]I absolutely did say that, However I didn’t attack you - I exposed you and your unkind behaviour. I have just signed up on Wikipedia and already I no longer wish to be a user. Apparently from what I am gathering is that your self titled role on Wikipedia is supposed to be a support person that assists people like me whom have little experience with this platform and code writing for publication on Wikipedia. However the first thing I experienced was you posting a “speedy deletion” of my bio on my account which then suddenly removed my whole account from bloody existence. How the heck you deleted my own bio, I have no idea BUT it’s gone. You gave me zero advice on the actual page that I had drafted about myself and then deleted my own account bio? And on top of all that you had then told me that there was no evidence to support that I am “notable” in your opinion. As I said go google my name, I bet $100 that it will say Radio Presenter etc throughout plenty of reliable sources. Plus you’ll see heaps of photos of me in images. And it will also tell you have I spent two years in prison. All of which I had written on my drafted page. The point is, I am standing up to you and you just don’t like it. I say - at ease soldier! Stand down! Sharmo96 (talk) 11:19, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
- I did not do all of the things that you are assigning to me. You attacked the people who are trying to help you and only seem to be interested in promoting yourself here. Wikipedia does not have "bios", it has articles. These are typically written by independent editors. It is extremely difficult for someone to write about themselves here- I haven't seen it successfully done in my many years here. Wikipedia is not a place for people to tell the world about themselves. If you wish to be unblocked, please follow the instructions above. 331dot (talk) 11:24, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
User:331dot - that comment was not directed at you it was directed at user:Theroadislong, I felt like this user treated me unfairly and was in my opinion bulling me. Furthermore you have yourself blocked my whole account? I was standing up for myself not attacking people. I felt as if I was treated unfairly and I simply stood up to the person whom did that towards me. The only beef that I have with you is that you blocked my account and it won’t work anymore. So please
- Sharmo96 Your account "bio" is here User:Sharmo96 it has not been deleted, your draft is here Draft:Ryan Sharman that has also not been deleted, you have not even submitted it for review. My comment that you did not appear to pass the notability guidelines was based on the fact that you provided no sources, please assume good faith. Theroadislong (talk) 14:39, 21 February 2020 (UTC)

- What topics do you intend to work on if you are unblocked? Please be specific. Nick-D (talk) 22:56, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
@Nick-D - More specifically I would like contribute where possible to articles of radio broadcasting and other topics related to but not limited to media, journalism, entertainment & Australian culture. I would also like to learn through this platform about coding and editing through “sandbox”. Whilst remaining blocked I can not really begin to appreciate this platform and it’s capabilities. If the block is removed I will endeavour to utilise Wikipedia the correct way as intended. Sharmo96 (talk) 23:11, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
- What articles do you intend to work on specifically? Contributing to Wikipedia articles does not require any coding skill at all given that there is a visual text editor, and you can learn how to use the underlying software on the many other Wikis. Nick-D (talk) 23:28, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
- I've just noticed that you still have a rather unpleasant rant on your user page. I'm going to decline this unblock request as a result given that it casts serious doubt on your comments above. Nick-D (talk) 23:35, 21 February 2020 (UTC)

@Nick-D, I will remove the content on my user page. Please remove the block, if no one is willing to assist me in getting my account in order - I may as well just remove Wikipedia all together.Sharmo96 (talk) 11:45 pm, 21 February 2020, last Friday (3 days ago) (UTC+0) @331dot - thank you for advising me as to how the process works, I was unsure if I had to bring up a request again after it had been declined. @331dot, could you please lift the block that you had initially placed on my account. As I previously stated, I will use this platform correctly if given the opportunity again. Sorry for getting off on the wrong foot.
Decline reason:
Your previous unblocks and your comments don't seem to indicate sufficient awareness of what is acceptable content to edit about. That would be sufficient, but your various edits also make me concerned whether you're truly capable of engaging calmly with a site that inherently deletes, edits and updates editors' contributions. Part, though by no means all, of that is that you haven't removed the rant (and a flat out insult) from further up this page. Nosebagbear (talk) 14:29, 24 February 2020 (UTC)

@Nick-D. I actually just tried to remove my “rant” on my user page however coincidentally because I am blocked I can not even remove that. This is the message that displays when I attempt to remove it. “You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia
Reason for the block
Clearly not here to build an encyclopedia; only interested in self promotion and then made personal attacks against those trying to help him
Blocked by
331dot”
I need to have my block lifted in order to even remove that.

- I stand by my initial action, but if a reviewer sees merit in removing the block, they may do so without consulting me. 331dot (talk) 22:10, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
@Nosebagbear - Hello, I appreciate your comment however as I am new to this platform and I was blocked from what seems like everything accessible on Wikipedia by @331dot before I really had to opportunity to learn how to use Wikipedia, I unfortunately have absolutely no idea how to delete the said comments that you have pointed out. All I know is that when I try to go back and edit & further then try to attempt to delete past comments that I have published, I get an error message telling me that I am blocked from editing and that I need to request that the block be withdrawn or reviewed. The ONLY thing that I can seem to do on Wikipedia now is simply publish these new comments on this topic or forum or whatever the above thread of messages are called on this platform. So at most, all I can say is that I apologise for my prior remarks that were inappropriate and I hope that someone with a bit of understanding of my situation that has the authority can assist me and unblock my account so that I can edit again and I can then delete my past comments once I figure out how to do so. But it’s extremely difficult to start to understand a new platform and learn how it all works when majority of your account access is all blocked. This is all I can say, unfortunately I haven’t found people on Wikipedia to be very welcoming or open to the idea that a person whom has disabilities had made a mistake and can’t rectify it because every aspect of my account was blocked by another user. I feel like I should just delete Wikipedia off my device and give up because not one person seems to want to give me a chance. Sharmo96 (talk) 22:02, 24 February 2020 (UTC)
Please see reasons above. My account had had no activity in the past few days regarding my previous request, I note that my request for unblocking still stands. Sharmo96 (talk) 07:47, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
- Your last formal unblock request was declined, you will need to make another for it to be considered. 331dot (talk) 10:18, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
Fresh consideration of unblock request
[edit]
Sharmo96 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
In light of all the content published under the heading “Wow”, I would like to again please submit a fresh request to be unblocked. I would like to remove certain content that I had previously published that contained some negative comments about other users of Wikipedia. I have since realised that my actions were wrong and not justified, due to this I sincerely apologise to any other users of Wikipedia as a platform that my comments have affected. In previous requests to be considered for unblocking of my accounts, it was noted that I still have negative comments and statements contained within my “profile” (unsure of the exact definition that is used on this platform), I have tried to remove these said statements previous to this request however due to my account limitations as it is blocked, I note that I cannot remove this until my account is unblocked to do so. Please let it be known that, this will be my first point of action upon being unblocked. I would also like to learn to use this platform more in-depth and contribute to topics that I have personal interest in such as Radio Broadcasting, Australian media, Australian Culture, Radio programme’s etc. These are areas or topics that I have a sound theoretical knowledge in and I feel could contribute on Wikipedia to if the opportunity ever arises. I am just on this platform to learn really. My intentions were not to cause any drama etc that further would cause for my account being blocked. I apologise sincerely and I genuinely would appreciate if someone could please consider removing the block.Sharmo96 (talk) 11:36, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
Accept reason:
I confess to some trepidation in lifting this block, given your previous activities (which, as far as I can see, consisted of creating an article about yourself and then attacking other users when they told you - quite correctly - that you are not a suitable subject for a Wikipedia article and that even if you were, you should not write about yourself). However, this unblock appeal appears sincere and addresses the reason for the block, and I think it's fair to at least give you another chance. On the assumption that you will rein in your behaviour towards other editors and will no longer write about yourself on Wikipedia, I am therefore lifting the block. Yunshui 雲水 14:24, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
@Yunshui - Thank you, I very much appreciate what you have done. My first point of call was to remove the negative comment that I had published on my user page. I selected the whole text and deleted, then I published the changes as just a blank page. Is this the correct process to remove content? Also, again thank you for lifting the block and I will endeavour to use Wikipedia correctly from now on. Sharmo96 (talk) 22:55, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
