- Hello! I fully understand that the information provided by the company itself is not a reliable source and that this is a general principle in Wikipedia, as the press releases of some American companies are essentially self-aggrandising advertisements. The problem in this case is that there are precisely no other sources. The same is true of a couple of Finnish-language business websites (Kauppalehti and Arvopaperi), which are behind a paywall.
- This company only publishes in English and this contributes to limiting the enthusiasm of journalists (those who are interested in are mostly Finnish or Swedish speakers) to write about things, because they cannot copy-paste the text and have to translate it as well.
- I went through the sources and the first information the company provides is from their website. This information cannot be found elsewhere and I think that in such a case referring to the company's website is appropriate.
- The second piece of information, that the company's filter solutions improve energy efficiency, is such that such information must be found elsewhere than from the company itself. I have added two sources. The first is a bit dubious because they write analyses of companies for a fee, but still retain responsibility for the conclusions. The second is a typical company presentation, but it is based on tests carried out by Astoria Energy, where they tested filters from different manufacturers in four gas turbines for three years.
- The information about the change in the company's strategy is taken directly from the company's financial statements. Technical information on when 100% ownership of Eagle Filters Ltd was acquired is from the stock exchange release, as is the change in share name and trading symbol. A copy of the (same) notice, translated into Finnish, can be found on the pages of same financial journals and is also behind the paywall. The stock exchange release is the kind of company information where things have to be correct. If it does not state the facts, the company exposes itself to investigation and could be in serious trouble. I agree that a press release is one that I do not think can be fully trusted, but the text of a stock exchange release must be pure fact.
- Is there a Wikipedia template for publishing an article, even if it contains references to the company's own stock exchange releases, which would urge you to get a better source? These may come in time, but they simply do not exist now. Senjasenkaappi (talk) 19:40, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Senjasenkaappi, if no sources exist that meet all the relevant criteria, then an article is not possible at this time and reading above, none of the sources do. The only option is to wait until the company can meet the notability and sourcing criteria. (Side note: no one is going to see messages here unless you ping someone. Your talk page is my in Watchlist since I left you a message and I just so happened to online and saw it. Best to use the Teahouse.) S0091 (talk) 19:57, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
- I'll just make a couple of other general comments about sources. While English-language sources are preferred on English Wikipedia, non-English sources are allowed if no suitable English sources exist. However, they must still meet the definition of a reliable source to be used. Also, a paywall does not disqualify a publication as a source outright, although admittedly it makes it more difficult for a reader to verify the cited material. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 13:16, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hello Sirs S0091 and Drm310! I found the Wikipedia article based on this discussion [1] and worked for a couple of hours to find a similar source in English. Hopefully the Senjasenkaappi article is now publishable. It is very good that there is an article about this company on Wikipedia. I have referred to their filter material in several discussions, and in English discussions the first argument is often, "How can this company be notable if there is not even an article about it on Wikipedia?" The so-called Chicken or the egg dilemma. Kiitokset käännöksestä Senjasenkaapille! 62.78.251.132 (talk) 16:55, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
- You are welcome to resubmit it and another reviewer will take a look (click the blue Resubmit button at the bottom of the draft's decline notice). S0091 (talk) 17:00, 26 November 2022 (UTC)

Senjasenkaappi: I know the feeling when a moderator rejects your hard-earned work. This is because the company has only just changed from an investment company to an industrial company and therefore the interest has been in the company's holdings, which still remain but will be sold in the near future. I promise to look for more information on this tomorrow, for example on that filter thread.62.78.251.132 (talk) 18:39, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Senjasenkaappi Could you please check the article and resubmit it. I would appreciate it if you could also import the changes I have added to the Finnish and Swedish Wikipedia. 62.78.251.132 (talk) 13:49, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Senjasenkaappi I could submit it also by myself. I did. Are you still following this page? 62.78.251.132 (talk) 17:14, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
I am mentally broken
[edit]@Senjasenkaappi: I tried to help, but the moderator rejected my suggestion and said that they were paid view, even though I looked for external sources to replace the existing ones. I was active on Wikipedia from its start for 4-5 years before similar incidents made me want to shoot one moderator who bullied me by rejecting my changes because they were not left-wing enough. Although Wikipedia was supposed to be neutral, he was able to be the dictator of Finnish Wikipedia in his area (guns) and only wanted left-leaning articles and the other moderators didn't even seem to understand how twisted his views were, because they were completely clueless about the subject. It's still like in Russia: you're told that the text is no good, but you don't bother to specify which part of it catches your eye.
I spoke to my doctor and he recommended that I should not continue. I'm absolutely heartbroken about a well done groundwork being flushed down the toilet. I know that the Inderes analysis company has done paid analyses of the company where they at least claim themselves to have been unbiased. Erik Penser Ab from Sweden has also done analyses of the company, but they are in Swedish and I cannot understand any of them without Google Translate, but that does a bad job. You seem to know Swedish, can you look them up? 62.78.251.132 (talk) 09:08, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
- I am extremely busy by now, but I'll look into those ASAP. It's a bit annoying that quite a few companies have links to their websites approved (I looked at a similar company, Vincit, for example) and the approval of the article depends on who the moderator happens to be. In fact, all companies that do business analysis do it for a fee. Inderes at least has had several articles accepted - I would assume that the moderator didn't know what it was about and accepted it because it was an external party. I have personally tried to look for good sources and avoided analysis houses.--Senjasenkaappi (talk) 11:10, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
Bess (singer) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Bess (singer), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 22:53, 7 December 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Senjasenkaappi. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Eagle Filters Group, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 18:58, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
- I want to clarify that I do not have any conflict of interest regarding the mentioned company. Over the years, I have been closely following the company's progress through various media outlets due to my interest in observing the performance of ESG-driven investments. The company's past activities, known as Cleantech Environment and Loudspring, were once regarded as intriguing due to their climate-focused portfolio, and it was anticipated that one or more of these ventures would yield substantial returns. However, nearly all of them have now become essentially worthless.
- Nevertheless, the most valuable aspect of the company emerged from its involvement in the fundamental industry as a filter manufacturer, which garnered attention amidst the significant surge in natural gas prices last year. Recognizing that other green technology sectors were unlikely to generate favorable returns, the company wisely decided to concentrate its efforts on this particular area in order to prevent a complete collapse of its business.
- I hope this clarifies my perspective on the company and underscores my genuine interest in monitoring the developments within the ESG investment landscape. Senjasenkaappi (talk) 19:29, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
