Minor edits

[edit]

PLease note that a minor edit is not one where you remove cited material such as here [[1]] or here [[2]] nor the addition of material such as here [[3]].Slatersteven (talk) 19:09, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Libya, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Hi. When you recently edited Our Party (Bosnia and Herzegovina), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Third way (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Putin's photo

[edit]

You recently changed the photo in the infobox for the article on Vladimir Putin. For some reason another user reverted this. Please give your views at Talk:Vladimir Putin#Photo in the infobox.--Toddy1 (talk) 08:27, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sematz,
You changed the infobox picture for the article on Vladimir Putin. It is written in a comment next to the picture that it should be not changed without prior discussion in the talk page. As I did not see any record of such a discussion, I have reverted your edit. Thank you for your understanding. Xionbox 12:46, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Syria. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. The "minor edit" option is to be used only for edits that cannot be considered controversial. Your edit was deceptive and in poor faith. Kudzu1 (talk) 09:46, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to Paul Kagame

[edit]

As mentioned by others above, please could you use an edit summary when making changes to articles. Otherwise other editors have no idea why you made the change. In the case of Paul Kagame I can't think of a reason not to include the photograph of him with the Obamas under the "United States and United Kingdom" section, so I have reinstated the image. Shinzo Abe

[edit]

Hi there. I recently reverted the changes you made to the infobox on Shinzo Abe - specially concerning the new image you added. I say new because, well, actually, it isn't - which is precisely why I changed it back. The pictures you were putting up came from his first term as Prime Minister, and is no longer representative of him, as he is now, in his second term. The image you replaced, on the other hand, is far more up to date and far more reflective of Abe as he is right now. I took the liberty of reverting your change without first raising it with you because I felt my rationale is a very uncontroversial one. Of course, if you disagree with me, please feel free to reply back to me or raise this issue on the article's talk page. Thanks. Redverton (talk) 00:02, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bosnian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Please stop changing Macedonia to North Macedonia in articles on topics that pre-date the name change. We used the name of the country as it was at the time. Minor and more

[edit]

I notice that you have started marking your edits as minor. Some of them are definitely not minor. Please read WP:MINOR, especially the section "When not to mark as minor changes". --T*U (talk) 15:34, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe you did not read WP:MINOR? Among other things, it says: Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette and if you are in doubt about whether an edit is minor or not, it is always safer not to mark it as minor.
Also: You have been asked several times to use edit summaries in order to explain your edits. It helps other editors to understand the content of and/or the reason for your edits, see WP:ES. Thank you! --T*U (talk) 13:57, 22 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
