[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Travis Scott, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. General Ization Talk 03:40, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Hipal (talk) 19:16, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for the warning. It's not my intention to defame anyone or add unreferenced content. The ones I added recently was a YouTube interview which included Polo G stating his son's name and bday. The other one was a XXL article showing Polo's Instagram post in which he states he woke up in an emergency room and almost passed. I don't quite understand how these are unreliable or poorly referenced. Sedatedsucc (talk) 21:02, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick response. Sorry for my delay getting back to you.
- Briefly, we need to take great care with such information when it comes from such sources.
- We want reliable, indepedent sources of high-quality, ideally written with encyclopedic (historical, social, etc) context.
- We need to be very careful with what we use that's simply him writing about himself. WP:BLPSELFPUB covers this in detail. If it's not covered in an independent source, or if independent sources are qualifying the information to his statements rather than presenting as their own fact-checked information, then it probably doesn't belong. If we do include BLPSELFPUB information, we need to take care that we don't use Wikipedia's voice to suggest the information is anything other than a claim from the subject.
- Also, in general we do not include names of non-notable minors such as the name of his son. --Hipal (talk) 18:59, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
I see what you mean. I’m somewhat new to editing on Wikipedia so I appreciate the tips. Sedatedsucc (talk) 06:01, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
- I think your subsequent changes are an improvement, though I'm not sure if the information about his hospitalization will hold without better references. --Hipal (talk) 15:47, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
I added his documentary in which he explains the hospitalization in full. Sedatedsucc (talk) 18:31, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
The article SoFaygo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No verified information, no notability per NBAND. So there appears to be a record deal, but it's not properly verified, there's no album on that label--well, really, there's not anything, except for mixtapes and TikTok.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Drmies (talk) 01:07, 22 July 2021 (UTC)
The article EST Gee has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. WWGB (talk) 04:15, 23 July 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Doggy54321. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Certified Lover Boy, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 02:12, 2 September 2021 (UTC)

Ways to improve Zack Bia
[edit]Hello, Sed8ddd,
Thank you for creating Zack Bia.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Interviews are primary references.
As this person is a DJ, WP:MUSICBIO applies to this article.
This article needs more references to satisfy notability for biography of living persons. What is needed are references giving significant coverage about this person, and independent of them, in multiple secondary sources which are reliable - WP:RS; that is your guide.
You may also read WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources.
Pages of photographs, mentions of this person on pages about other topics do not garner notability.
A more comprehensive guide is WP:BASIC ... People are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. Lack of attention to the above is likely to mean that the article may not be suitable for inclusion.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}

Speedy deletion nomination of Kai Cenat
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Kai Cenat requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kai Cenat. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. - Hello, I would like to retrieve the deleted material for further improvement. While I don't remember the initial page and how identical it was to my version, I feel that I added more references to show notability for the subject. Sed8ddd (talk) 20:35, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
