Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give CKOV-FM a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into CKMR-FM. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of CFCH-FM
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on CFCH-FM requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/CFCH-FM. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. An article you recently created, CFMA-FM, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Concern regarding Draft:CFMA-FM
[edit]Hello, Scorpy43. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:CFMA-FM, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. If the page has already been deleted, you can request it be undeleted so you can continue working on it.

The article CHIR-FM has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The current references are broadcasting notices and decisions that are non-SIGCOV. WP:BEFORE found only trivial mentions, e.g., 1.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. VickKiang (talk) 05:29, 22 November 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to List of radio stations in Ontario did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! Aloha27 talk 21:16, 9 March 2023 (UTC)
The general notability guideline, radio stations, and you
[edit]I want to put this in about the plainest language possible.
Radio stations must meet the general notability guideline—at least three significant mentions in reliable sources—to have an article.
Just because a station exists—say, WRLN—doesn't mean it's eligible for an article. Until that time, it can redirect to an appropriate topic article, like Red Lake Indian Reservation, or failing that the state list of radio stations.
Consider that not every station needs an article. I know this is a recent-ish shift on the stations side, but it's an important one. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 04:55, 17 March 2023 (UTC)

The article Radio Stations in Syracuse, New York has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Redundant to Template:Syracuse Radio. There are no such lists by city or media market in the U.S.; we have state lists and market navboxes.

Speedy deletion nomination of CIIG-FM-
[edit]Hello, Scorpy43,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Pppery and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, CIIG-FM-, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Pppery}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!
