(another) Page move not discussed
Hi there SATORI, VASCO here,
could you please move C.D. Málaga to the original CD Málaga? It was an undiscussed page move, again, and the user, also contacted by User:EdJohnston after i reached out to him, did not bother to reply, and he's been pretty active here the last hours, so he's seen the message.
Reason for my request: the dots in name have now created many redirects in many footballers and some teams, and they're not all that necessary. For example, FC Barcelona - "only" one of the biggest clubs in the world - has the dots in their original name ("F.C. Barcelona"), but they're not represented here at WP, and the same could be said for tons of other clubs (Málaga CF, Villarreal CF, Sevilla FC, Getafe CF, CA Osasuna, and so on, and so on).
Thank you very much in advance, keep it up - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 20:49, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- Since they had no objection, I did revert that move. If they disagree, the best option for them is WP:Requested moves#Requesting controversial and potentially controversial moves. — Satori Son 11:48, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
70.245.209.94
Regarding 70.245.209.94 (talk · contribs) (see [1])—does removing recent warnings from his talk page count as an additional offense? See [2]. DES (talk) 00:26, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
- The short answer is “no”, it’s not vandalism, but the issue is complicated. Currently, the WP:OWNTALK guideline states, “Users may freely remove comments from their own talk pages, though archiving is preferred. They may also remove some content in archiving. The removal of a warning is taken as evidence that the warning has been read by the user. This specifically includes both registered and unregistered users.”
- That being said, here are my thoughts and observations:
- I am not at all convinced that OWNTALK reflects current majority consensus. Like many guidelines, it’s language was determined by a relatively small number of discussion participants. I personally know many, many fellow users that do not believe an anon user can “own” the talk page associated with a particular IP address, especially with dynamic IPs.
- In any case, OWNTALK is only a guideline, not an official policy. As such it can, in very limited circumstances, be ignored if that’s what’s best for the encyclopedia.
- WP:Disruptive editing overrides OWNTALK. If a user is here only to distract us from our work, then all of their edits should be reverted and they should be blocked. If, after they are blocked, they continue to make null and blanking edits simply to keep us engaged with them, that talk page should be restored and protected.
- So as I said, the issue is complicated. In this particular case, this long-term vandal is clearly not here to help us build a better encyclopedia, but I don't think their single blanking edit is necessarily disruptive at this point. I’ll help keep an eye on them and do what needs to be done. Thanks. — Satori Son 12:30, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
Hi!
I guess its always best to say that its better to report a user for vandalism, when they didn't vandalise, (resulting in no action taken) than to not report them and risk them vandalising, right? LikeLakers2 (talk) 21:00, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
- Well, they definitely did vandalize, it's just that we need to give them at least one warning before we block. In the future, you can do this yourself: Please see the various templated messages available at Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace. Thanks. — Satori Son 21:07, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
Saint Viator School
The edits I made to the Saint Viator School page were accurate. Please check your facts before reverting that page. What problem was there with the facts I added? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.234.5.118 (talk) 21:02, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, very funny. Please stop vandalizing articles. — Satori Son 21:04, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
Why?
Why is my message not welcome on this page? I can understand if it stays there and you don't want to respond to it, but seriously. Why is it not welcome here? I'm basically saying you could give a more specific reason why its not allowed. And yes, I am in fact trying to be nice here. LikeLakers2 (talk) 22:09, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
- I do not wish to waste time discussing this matter with you. If you do not want an administrator to become involved with an issue, then do not file a report at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism! Now, please, move along to something more productive. — Satori Son 22:13, 3 August 2011 (UTC)

Brian Wilson Disney Album.
Hey. Not sure why you deleted the page as there was MUCH talk about this album being released. As of Aug 11th, it was announced that the album will be released on Oct 11th. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.24.174.192 (talk) 16:14, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
- How do you know that I deleted it? — Satori Son 17:54, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
- For those watching from home, that’s a rhetorical question in response to his feigned ignorance of the deletion rationale. If he saw the log that said I deleted it, then he obviously saw the part that said why I deleted it. Not exactly rocket science here, folks. — Satori Son 20:34, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
Invino speedy deletion
Hello, my company's page was wrongly created a few months ago with marketing/advertising content instead of informational. I re-wrote the article with factual, opinion-free information; however, it was immediately deleted again. How can I change this? Thank you. Emuilenb (talk) 23:46, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, the article was still pretty heavy on the promotional language. Potentially even more problematic though, since advertising lingo can be fixed, is the lack of evidence of notability. Wikipedia requires the subject of an article to have been the subject of significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. See Wikipedia:Notability#General notability guideline and Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). This does not appear to be the case with Invino.
- Variations of the article have now been created and deleted three separate times, so please don't create it again unless you are positive it meets the notability guidelines (else you run the risk of having those two article titles locked). — Satori Son 23:56, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for your response. Could you give me some more guidelines as to how we can rectify this situation? Invino is the same type of business as Gilt Groupe, and the information posted earlier followed the same format as the Gilt article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gilt_Groupe. Will more references suffice for Invino to qualify? Is there any way to have someone look over a draft of a new Invino page to pre-approve it? Emuilenb (talk) 17:58, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
- First of all, yes, we can definitely create a draft copy in your userspace to work on undisturbed. In fact, I have gone ahead and restored the pre-existing article, with full history, here: User:Emuilenb/Invino.
- Second, I agree the Gilt Groupe article is a good standard to work toward. See how that company has been the subject of articles by The New York Times, Fast Company, CNN, etc.? If you can find a few sources of that quality and depth of coverage, you should be in great shape. — Satori Son 19:21, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
Thanks so much; I'm understanding the process a little better now. I have made a few changes; could I have some feedback? Thank you for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Emuilenb (talk • contribs) 21:12, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
- I'm traveling this weekend, but should have time to look at it today. If not, then Monday. I'll leave any comments I have at User talk:Emuilenb/Invino. Thanks. — Satori Son 14:49, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Brian Wilson "In The Key of Disney"
I don't understand where you're coming from.
There are TONS of upcoming albums on Wikipedia that have their own page. I don't see why you people "persist" in deleting it. Its announced and confirmed and has set release dates. I don't see your understanding in this matter.
I've found MANY upcoming albums on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is an Open Source area where pages CAN be created for current and upcoming things.
I'd like to hear your reasoning behind the deletion. Since this is open source, I should be aloud to create a page for ANYTHING that is to come out. That's the whole idea behind OPEN SOURCE.
I know you deleted the "Brian Wilson Disney Album" which is EXCELLENT because the album is not called that. It was a false page. If you bothered reading the page I wrote & any of the articles on Brian's page, you'll know its called "In The Key Of Disney". There is NOTHING inappropriate to what I'm posting. Its all legit WITH links to prove it. Your continuation in deletion makes you the party doing "inappropriate" things.
Lets hear your side. I've explained this to MANY people who agree with me. I'm not doing ANYTHING that I shouldn't be doing. I hate sounding defensive, but I make sense. Simple reading will reveal what I've written is accurate! I'm new, so instead of deleting the page, work with me to make it "right" in Wikipedia's eyes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Genesisfanatic89 (talk • contribs) 03:06, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- The AfD discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Brian Wilson Disney Album covered the subject of the article, not just the title. In fact, both titles are clearly listed at the top of that AfD. Please reread that discussion, and its talk page, and you will have the answers to all of your questions above.
- I understand you feel very passionately about this subject, and while I appreciate and respect that passion, your edits have now become disruptive. If you continue to recreate this article, your account will be blocked from editing. — Satori Son 14:15, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
Hi there SATORI, VASCO here, longtime no "see",
VERY SERIOUS matter at hand, and since you signed an unsigned comment in this situation (see here http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Lombriz_de_Aguapuerca&diff=446319430&oldid=446252680), please handle this accordingly, this guy is account-hopping, and has repeatedly refused to engage in conversations regarding a run-in we have had in Quique Flores, even though i have started discussions/messaged him: most chaps i have conversed with say that those two names suffice in ENGLISH Wikipedia, he says "talk to the hand" and writes QUIQUE SÁNCHEZ FLORES every chance he has, and has even re-moved page (as XXXX693) after it was moved to QUIQUE FLORES.
This is where the "serious" bit comes in play: the second account, LOMBRIZ AGUAPUERCA, has started vandalizing my talk page (please see here http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:VascoAmaral&diff=446252605&oldid=446252541), even left the word VANDAL (he has called me that in the past!) in the headline of my page. Have requested a checkuser but, as habitual, no feedback for Vasco :(
Help please, kind regards - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 15:29, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- You did exactly the right thing by filing a checkuser request. Please just give it a little time; the admins with that specific authority are very small in number and often overworked. I have commented there supporting your request, and if you like I will also semi-protect your userpage. Please let me know. — Satori Son 19:44, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply my friend! Regarding your questions, thanks (comment) and yes please (protection). I also filed a report here, not sure if it was the correct procedure (see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Administrators%27_noticeboard). --Vasco Amaral (talk) 20:08, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- And found another IP, this guy is dangerous, also "raided" Quique Flores (see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/190.84.61.67)!! --Vasco Amaral (talk) 20:11, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- Just got back to my desk. Looks like another admin fully protected your userpage, so you've got that covered. I'll take a look at the sockpuppet issue as soon as I get a chance. — Satori Son 12:01, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, the Lombriz de Aguapuerca (block log) account was already blocked indefinitely. I’ve just now blocked the master account, Xxxx693 (block log), for one week. I’ve also blocked 190.84.61.67 (block log) for 48 hours.
- Most importantly, you need to be aware that Xxxx693 and Scoelho86 are editing from the same computer, or at least the exact same location (if it's a network). Other admins decided they are probably not the same person, but I’m not so sure. It may be he’s playing some kind of “good cop, bad cop” mind game with you (I’ve definitely seen much stranger things here). Please be very wary engaging with him. — Satori Son 12:26, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

Many thanks as always for your support and assistance! Regarding your last sentence, if it turns out to be true, i just DON'T KNOW how i will react, that is wiki-sick beyond comparison (but i believe you if you say you've seen stranger). Attentively - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 15:58, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- You're very welcome. Take care. — Satori Son 16:44, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- Situation tends to escalate, now XXXX693 (anon, see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/190.84.79.135) has resorted to vile racist insults in my talkpage, whereas SCOELHO86 has continued his polite approach (sure enough, checking both contributions' history, when the anon account stopped editing, Coelho started editing, never an edit in the same timeframe). I have not controlled myself and left a very aggressive message in his talkpage (XXXX693 that is), what on earth is this, several users have reverted him in the Quique Flores article and he targets only me?!? The harshest thing i told him - and AFTER he started vandalizing my userpage, never BEFORE - was if he had mental problems it was not my fault, asking to be left alone.
If you feel i merit a block, fire away, i won't contest it. Attentively, happy week - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 22:43, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
- Oh, and how/when can we find if COELHO and this punk are the same person? This uncertainty is killing me man! --Vasco Amaral (talk) 23:46, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

Dubonnet may need semi-protection again
Hi. I noticed you semi-protected Dubonnet on July 29 because it was the subject of an edit war between Mighty Antar (talk · contribs) and an unnamed multi-IP-anon. I went to this article's talk page in response to a 3O request and left my opinion, but it appears the edit war has resumed. Before I go report it as an incident, I thought I'd tell you, since you're already familiar with the situation, in case you would like to take additional action. Please keep me informed. Thanks. Richwales (talk · contribs) 05:19, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
- While I don't condone Mighty Antar's edit warring, it does appear that someone is using dynamic IP's to edit disruptively (and technically avoid 3RR). Thus, I've semi-protected the article for 1 month. Thanks for letting me know it had started up again. — Satori Son 22:57, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
Continuing with the matter (hope i'm not bothering you, that's what i deduce from your silence, i already apologized for my response to the personal attack, can't do it over and over again):
have received a thorough message from the user mentioned above. In it, in a gist, he says that after seeing his name in the investigation concerning User:Xxxx693, he investigated in his building, and says that he shares Internet signal with his neighbour in the floor above, adding that four computers therein share the same IP, one of them being in the house of a 14/16-year old "little rascal" (his words not mine).
Coelho says he was suprised by the kid when he was sending me a message, and then "all hell broke loose", and he started attacking both him and me. He has spoken with the punk's parents, and has offered to have all IPs blocked for one month or so (he says he can edit from a cybercafe or akin if needs be). He said he has also edited extensively in the Spanish WP (for five years), never having any problems of this nature in both versions.
Again, Coelho has offered his help and assistance in the case at hand. However, i found the following really strange (and told him so as well): how come the anon user/XXX693/Lombriz's contributions (solely as anon, since creating the accounts, he has used them for nothing else than vandalizing edit-warring in Quique Flores) were nearly all (if not ALL) good edits and contributions (see here for example http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/190.97.148.235)? If he was up to no good (his age - 14, 15, 16 - could be a good sign of a troublesome character) would he not be up to no good from THE START?
I'm really really puzzled...if you don't (want to)/can't help, please redirect me elsewhere, please. Regards - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 16:51, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
- Hey Vasco. Not ignoring you, but I’ve only been able to check things here for very short periods of time – just five minutes or so a couple times a day. As I think I've told you before, my work/travel schedule is very erratic. Anyway, did a little bit of sockpuppet labeling yesterday on this matter, but looked like another admin had already blocked the new IP.
- Regarding whether all these edits are coming from the same person or not, we are supposed to assume good faith. But, personally, I am having a hard time believing that two different persons in the same apartment building just happen to be editing the exact same articles and communicating with the exact same other users. If he says this other guys is stalking him now, that makes a little more sense, but you’re still right about the early behavior. Almost too much to be a coincidence.
- Anyway, just be cautious and don’t get caught up in this drama too much. If more vandalism comes from any of these IP’s, I will hardblock them for a longer period (so that even logged in users won’t be able to use them). Have a good one. — Satori Son 21:08, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
- I know man, you have always been very kind/helpful to me, i am a bit of a "prima donna" sometimes, especially when those bipolar bouts are at their best (or worse :)) and i'm dealing with vandalism reports and/or situations.
Nothing more than words of the highest appreciation and regard for your approach towards me, you take care as well and have an "even better one". --Vasco Amaral (talk) 22:34, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
?
We are wondering why you saw our only editing page as "vandalism." We were simply telling the truth and nothing we said was meant to be "vandalism." Your assumption is very insulting. Reconsider your deletion of my contributing information to the Dodgeland High School page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Oddinfoseeker (talk • contribs) 21:12, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
- I don't have time for this. One more disruptive edit from this account and I'm blocking it indefinitely. Either contribute productively to our project here or find another website to troll. — Satori Son 01:48, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
list of open source healthcare software
So how is it PatientOS, one of the original open source EMRs can be edited out of wikipedia by a competitor?
http://www.patientos.org is licensed under GPL version 3 and has been around for almost 5 years.
However you have just let a commercial competitor edit us out of Wikipedia - wow. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Caultonpos (talk • contribs) 02:44, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- I'm sorry you feel that way, but I can assure you that Ronz (talk · contribs) has been a valued Wikipedia editor for over six years, during which time they have made over 59,000 edits[3] to many, many different topics.
- Quite simply, Ronz does not have a conflict of interest in this matter. May I ask if you can say the same? — Satori Son 03:03, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
The page is supposed to be a list of Open Source software - Ronz removed one of the entries - thats like removing Ubuntu from a list of linux operating systems. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Caultonpos (talk • contribs) 13:23, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for that example, because it allows me to clearly illustrate why you are mistaken. Ubuntu (operating system) has an article here at Wikipedia. PatientOS does not. For more information, please read WP:Verifiability, WP: Notability, WP:What Wikipedia is not, and WP:Write the article first.
- If you want help creating the article so it will not be deleted again, then visit the folks at WP:Requested articles. But going around making false accusations against long-standing community members and edit warring isn’t going to do anything but get your account blocked. Please reconsider your approach. — Satori Son 13:35, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
Request for page protection question
Hello Satori Son, I see you declined my request for page protection for Cam Newton. I have a question, is there any set guidelines or criteria for page protections? I'm asking this because I've seen some articles that have been constantly vandalized in a certain amount of time. Thanks. -- Luke (Talk) 03:30, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- You can read Wikipedia:Protection policy, but unfortunately it's not very specific. It's essentially a case-by-case judgment call of what constitutes "a pattern of heavy sustained vandalism". My personal opinion is that a biographical article should be protected if it is consistently being vandalized at least once per day (or many times at once). Hope that helps. — Satori Son 03:40, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- So it's essentially the administrator's call. I get it now. Thanks for clearing it up for me. -- Luke (Talk) 03:51, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
Albert Mohler RFP declined
"Declined, not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. The sole vandalizing IP account has been warned and will be blocked if they persist." - I beg to differ: the same person has been vandalizing the page from many different IP addresses over the course of a month and it's a real pain in the neck. –Roscelese (talk ⋅ contribs) 16:29, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for coming to me directly with your concern. I've reviewed the history again, and only one account, an IP address, has vandalized the account in the last ten days, and that was only twice. I'm sorry, but I just can't see how that qualifies as the "pattern of heavy sustained vandalism" required by WP:Protection policy#Vandalism for semi-protection.
- I understand your frustration, I really do, but in order to keep Wikipedia as open-source as possible, we sometimes have to live with minor inconveniences. If it flares up again, however, I will be more than happy to take another look. You are also welcome to ask another admin for their opinion: I will not take any offense at all if someone disagrees with and overrules me. Thanks again. — Satori Son 17:03, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

Russian Tradition of the Knights Hospitaller
Anyone that disagrees with Yopie gets called a vandal - especially when Yopie is wrong. Tagging the entire article as a Self Styled Order misrepresents the article. Only the false imitators of the Russian Tradition of the Knights Hospitaller are self styled. The cat tag is a gross misrepresentation. Kasgan (talk) 04:32, 3 September 2011 (UTC)

(Highly) disruptive user
Hi there SATORI, VASCO here,
as obvious, more vandalism reporting. User:Argyle 4 Life - and myself, but Argyle more - has been warning User:Antony1821 over the removal of the correct footballers' position wikilinks, which Antony removes at will, without any summaries whatsoever ("contributions" here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Antony1821). Usually, he removes all messages in his page without replying (classy), but replied once to Argyle promising to improve his ways (please see here http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Argyle_4_Life&diff=441668083&oldid=441235625).
Now, Argyle has messaged confirming what i already knew, the apology was a diversion and he has returned to his "deeds" (see my talkpage message here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:VascoAmaral#Antony_again). One interesting manouevre from Antony was this, with User:Zanoni: he was warned not to remove warning templates (see here http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Antony1821&diff=prev&oldid=436051338), what do you think he did? Surprise (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Antony1821&diff=next&oldid=436051338)... Ah, and he has been blocked once already (please see here http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Antony1821&diff=431521056&oldid=430046006#May_2011).
If this is not the correct action from me (although i have "achieved" blocks for disruptive users merely by reporting the stuff to an administrator, without having to to go through the "legal" procedures, this including you), please redirect me to the proper "agency".
Attentively, happy weekend - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 18:51, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
- This issue looks too complicated for me to deal with as a typical vandal. First of all, users are allowed, in most cases, to remove warnings from their talk pages. Second, because I’m not all that familiar with association football, it’s not readily apparent to me that their edits are purely disruptive (as opposed to a content dispute).
- My suggestion is for you to file a request for help at WT:WikiProject Football. If other users over there also feel Antony1821’s behavior is disruptive, it will be easier for an administrator such as myself to sanction them. If you ‘’do’’ get such a consensus on their behavior, please do bring it to my attention. Sorry I can’t be of more help yet on this. — Satori Son 01:14, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
- That's alright man, thanks for the reply nonetheless! We'll ride it through in case the vandalism escalates. Have a good one, from Portugal - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 14:03, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
My ANI Report
Why can't I find my ANI report on user:Jotamar? It's neither on the project page nor in the archives. I can only find the diffs. Was it deleted? If so, why? Lechonero (talk) 12:11, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
- I am sorry, but I do not know the outcome of your report. After you expressed your unhappiness with my initial assessment of the situation, I made one final comment and stopped monitoring the discussion. I certainly did not wish to antagonize you by participating further. — Satori Son 01:48, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

NHANDAL blocked or not?
Hello, Satori Son
Is NHANDAL (talk · contribs · block log) blocked or not? She's got a great big "blocked indefinitely" notice from you on her Talk page, but she's still editing the article Nathalie Handal about herself. It's clear this user is the same person as the article subject, and the same as NatHandal (talk · contribs · block log), as per the admission/explanation at the bottom of Talk:Nathalie Handal. I have serious COI concerns with her because the sole interest of both WP accounts is adjustments to her article, but I'm asking about the block to see if there's some sort of evasion going on. Maybe you just didn't add some kind of unblock notice to her page? Thanks for any clarification. — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 13:11, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
- Hmm... I'll check it out right now. — Satori Son 13:17, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

Hi, sorry I'm a noob so appreciate your help
Hi Satori Son,
Apologies for being a nuisance. I'm sure you are sick of people such as myself. I have no idea exactly how this site works as computers aren't my strong point. I changed Ben Macdougall's site as I believe that being a convicted drug cheat is rather significant in an individual's career. The specific website I quoted for his page was http://dazrl.awardspace.info/drugs.htm
More importantly, Ben's brother Adam Macdougall, who is a rather high profile athlete in Australia is also a convicted drug cheat (as you can see from the link I provided). I also changed his wiki page but was promptly deleted 24 hours later without reference. I believe that it is important that Adam's page shows his discretions. I can provide further links if needed but as stated above I'm unsure how to link references. I would appreciate if their pages could be updated. If I can assist in anyway, including future references please let me know.

Hi there SATORI, VASCO here,
the Colombian lowlife has another account, has resumed his racist (and more) attacks towards me, as my userpage is protected indef, he "went for the jugular" at the talkpage. I still cannot help but feel that User:Scoelho86 knows more than he's "coughing", last time around he told me he spoke with the little brat (15 years in his opinion)'s parents and everything was in order now.
Plus, it's a given both edit from the same computer signal/building? Hmmmmmm.... Attentively, keep it up - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 23:59, 24 September 2011 (UTC)

User talk:199.250.3.71 -- question
Hello, I saw an alert that I have a new message. The message took me to the following page, on which you have a comment.
I'm wondering, which comments are toward me. I am sure that the comment "Your article has been moved to AfC space" is mine. However, the other comments reference articles I do not believe that I edited. Can you please confirm that the other comments are not mine?
Also--is the talk page based on a locale? My computer is in the vicinity of Ben Davis High School, but, again, I did not edit it. To my knowledge, of course.
Thanks, very much,

Your change: "flourishing" for "active" - Compromise: "active" for "alive"
Dear Satori Son,
Your change of "florishing" to "active" is in my opinion not in line with the fact that — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lipthay (talk • contribs) 12:52, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
Dear Satori Son,
In fact the word "flourishing" is related to the previous word "branch", both are commonly used (together) in genealogy texts. The connotation of both words is related to "live". Maybe you could consider as a good compromise to insert the word "alive" instead of "active".
Many thanks in advance and kind regards,
Lipthay 13:02, 11 January 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lipthay (talk • contribs)
- Hello Lipthay,
- It seems a little weird to say a familial "line" and "branches" are "alive", but I'm not sure my choice of "active" is any better, so I don't have any objection at all to you changing it. Or even better, if we had a source that used the term "flourishing", then you could change back to that term and just inline cite it. Whatever you think is best. Thanks for letting me know and have a good one! — Satori Son 15:12, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
Dear Satori Son,
Many thanks for your kind indication. I inserted the change using the compromise "alive" instead of "active"
Best regards,
Lipthay 21:14, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
- P.S.: The source of the whole text related to my family is the same as nr 10, namely:[1] That is why I inserted at the very begining.

Ah, and regarding this (see here, i've just spared you from having to scroll up :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Satori_Son#User:Xxxx693_aka_User:Lombriz_de_Aguapuerca), the racist attacks continue, as does the destruction of my userpage. - Looks like all socks have been blocked, but definitely let me know if it flares up again. — Satori Son 16:37, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
The vandalism has ceased, but now a much disturbing pattern has emerged. Regarding WP guidelines, i tell him one thing, he replies "yes i'll do it", then does the exact same opposite. I have messaged him nearly 20 times on his wrongdoings and his reply is THE SAME ALWAYS: "i forgot", "i forgot", "i did not know" (after i told him how to do it ten times).
I have the feeling he's mocking me for reporting him (duly) so many times. If not, it really seems so. Could you try and talk with this chap, i've grown tired? Thanks a million as always, kind regards - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 03:50, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
MSU Interview
Dear Satori Son,
My name is Jonathan Obar user:Jaobar, I'm a professor in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at Michigan State University and a Teaching Fellow with the Wikimedia Foundation's Education Program. This semester I've been running a little experiment at MSU, a class where we teach students about becoming Wikipedia administrators. Not a lot is known about your community, and our students (who are fascinated by wiki-culture by the way!) want to learn how you do what you do, and why you do it. A while back I proposed this idea (the class) to the community HERE, where it was met mainly with positive feedback. Anyhow, I'd like my students to speak with a few administrators to get a sense of admin experiences, training, motivations, likes, dislikes, etc. We were wondering if you'd be interested in speaking with one of our students.
So a few things about the interviews:
- Interviews will last between 15 and 30 minutes.
- Interviews can be conducted over skype (preferred), IRC or email. (You choose the form of communication based upon your comfort level, time, etc.)
- All interviews will be completely anonymous, meaning that you (real name and/or pseudonym) will never be identified in any of our materials, unless you give the interviewer permission to do so.
- All interviews will be completely voluntary. You are under no obligation to say yes to an interview, and can say no and stop or leave the interview at any time.
- The entire interview process is being overseen by MSU's institutional review board (ethics review). This means that all questions have been approved by the university and all students have been trained how to conduct interviews ethically and properly.
Bottom line is that we really need your help, and would really appreciate the opportunity to speak with you. If interested, please send me an email at obar@msu.edu (to maintain anonymity) and I will add your name to my offline contact list. If you feel comfortable doing so, you can post your name HERE instead.
If you have questions or concerns at any time, feel free to email me at obar@msu.edu. I will be more than happy to speak with you.
Thanks in advance for your help. We have a lot to learn from you.
Sincerely,
Jonathan Obar --Jaobar (talk) 07:26, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

See its real.
Its not fair that when over a hundred people accept Zolo as a genre that one editor can take it away and say its a hoax when it is not. IT IS REAL! and some people take it very seriously. Plus most genres could be said to be not real, like rap music its just hip hop music. Its all just music. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.217.98.31 (talk) 02:07, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
Thank You for the Wikipedia Picture
Hello, My name is Duane Hurst and I recently made a free (non-commercial) English web site to share information with people. I added links to your Wikipedia/Wikimedia freeware picture. I also gave credit to you on my web pages for your work. Thank you for sharing with the public. My website is:
http://www.freeenglishsite.com/
I add pictures such as yours to one of the following major sections of my site: 1. World section - contains information and over 10,000 images of every world country and territory. Link at: http://www.freeenglishsite.com/world/index.htm
2. USA section - contains information and images of every USA state and territory. Link at: http://www.freeenglishsite.com/world/usa/index.htm
3. English section - "Mel and Wes" lessons in conversation format. Stories are located in various USA states and world countries such as China, England, Germany, Japan, Mexico and Thailand. Each lesson has many slang terms and idioms, which I link to my Slang Dictionary. This eventually will have over 5,000 terms. Currently, it has about 3,000 slang and idioms. I regularly add new lessons and slang terms. Link at: http://www.freeenglishsite.com/english/lessons/index.htm Slang Dictionary link at: http://www.freeenglishsite.com/english/slang/Eslang_a.htm
Prior to retirement, I taught English at several private and public universities in the United States.
Please share this free site with your friends. I hope all will enjoy the pictures and find the English information useful. Sincerely, Duane Hurst in Utah, USA
