Speedy deletion nomination of Alex Mauer
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Alex Mauer, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for Deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ... discospinster talk 14:01, 19 July 2017 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:4-energia logo.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:4-energia logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Daylen (talk) 02:52, 30 July 2017 (UTC)

Please do not add defamatory content to Wikipedia, as you did to Ajit V. Pai, especially if it involves living persons. Thank you. Bettering the Wiki (talk) 02:59, 22 November 2017 (UTC)

Request reason:
I was blocked by User:Bilby because they suspected my account to be compromised. This is not the case, I am still in control of it. I'm going to assume it was assumed to be compromised since I have made many constructive edits in the past, and then suddenly went and vandalized Ajit Pai's article. No, it wasn't some hacker (and it certainly wasn't "my little brother" Quite simply, reading news about Pai's plans to not only gut net neutrality at the federal level, but also to order states to scrap plans for their own net neutrality laws pissed me the hell off. In that moment I decided it was a bright idea to screw with his Wikipedia page for a laugh at his expense. Not the most effective form of protest... but it was amusing to me in that moment. In hindsight I think the block was definitely justified, the edits I made were stupid and I shouldn't have done them. I don't however, want my entire account and edit history locked away because of a dumb thing I did. If I get a block for awhile for acting like a screwball and insulting a politician I don't like because they are about to gut net neutrality, that's fair. But my account is not compromised, so that reason for my current indefinite block is not fair. Edit: I just realized, you may need some form of authentication to verify that my account is not compromised no? Can you can use the email address that is associated with my account for that? I'm assuming admins at least, can see that. If I need to have a confirmation email sent that's fine. SarrCat ∑;3 03:20, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
Accept reason:
I was concerned that the actions were so out of character that I wanted to be overly cautious. I'm happy to accept that it was just a brief unwise moment. Bilby (talk) 08:01, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
Well, this is the best unblock request I've seen. Thanks for being honest.
I'll leave it to the blocking admin. Don't recall the process of the top of my head for confirming you have control. @Bilby: will need a look-see in any event. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 04:30, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
So, it really was you, so now everything's fine?
No. Do you realize that because of your relatively large number of edits, your vandalism to a trending BLP article went unnoticed for over 10 minutes, and was being screenshoted and Tweeted? I'm by no means a supporter of Pai, but you don't need to let your personal opinions overwhelm you to the point of vandalism. Last election, I absolutely despised Trump and Clinton. Did I vandalize their articles? No. --AmaryllisGardener talk 19:57, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
