Speedy deletion nomination of Baby Come On Home (Norman Hitchcock song)
[edit]Hello Samuelpoginavera,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Baby Come On Home (Norman Hitchcock song) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is significant enough to be included in an encyclopedia, and the artist doesn't have an article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Vanjagenije (talk) 09:42, 25 December 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Samuelpoginavera, I'm Peter in Australia aka "Shirt58". Unfortunately "Baby Come On Home (Norman Hitchcock song)" has been deleted, as there is no current Wikipedia article for "Norman Hitchcock". It appears he worked with Maurice Gibb in the early 1970s. If you can find reliable references, Hitchcock might be mentioned in the Maurice Gibb article, but he himself does not appear to pass Wikipedia's criteria for notability. "Baby Come On Home (Norman Hitchcock song)" hasn't disappeared completely: you can find it here. Any questions? - just ask me! Pete aka --Shirt58 (talk) 11:55, 25 December 2013 (UTC)
The article Big Chance has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unremarkable musical recording, just another album track.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TheLongTone (talk) 11:33, 27 December 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Moonlight (Barry Gibb song)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Moonlight (Barry Gibb song), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Paniwalaan
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Paniwalaan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article does not exist or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
