A tag has been placed on Eng Haji Said Mohamed Isse Sanweyne requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Wikipedia is not for writing about yourself

[edit]

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, but it is not a place like Facebook or LinkedIn for people to write about themselves. It is a quite different sort of site, a project to build an encyclopedia, so it is selective about subjects for articles, and writing about oneself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography. The links in the Welcome message at the top of this page will tell you more about Wikipedia. JohnCD (talk) 20:57, 11 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Saidboateng1431. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Eng Said Mohamed Isse Sanweyne".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Eng Said Mohamed Isse Sanweyne}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 17:53, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sources needed

[edit]

I saw your recent edits. You have edited that some towns in Northern Somalia/Somaliland are part of Khatumo, but you have not indicated their source. I am not saying that your description is wrong or the current Wikipedia's description is correct. However, submissions that do not indicate the source of the information will be reverted. Please see Wikipedia:Verifiability. Freetrashbox (talk) 10:52, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I appreciate your reply but I provided the he facts on the ground and these are my ancestral lands, born and raised and we were subjected to unfair occupation for over 15 years and we finally pushed that occupying force and freed all the towns I edited, I couldn’t edit Lasanod which is my hometown cause it’s protected but please do research and see the fact that Khatumo controls all these towns and was chosen by the people from those areas to represent them it’s no more Somaliland or Puntland we’re Khatumo State of Somalia, thank you very much for reaching out! I am not saying that you are wrong. If your explanation is true, then it would not be difficult to find the source. Freetrashbox (talk) 12:37, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi thank you for reaching out again and for understanding also the need for authenticity is really important and I appreciate that, I tried my best of finding sources of every inch of the land that we control and here they are:
Start of the demonstrations that eventually resulted to drive Somaliland away from our regions: https://towardfreedom.org/story/archives/africa-archives/protests-in-breakaway-somaliland-call-for-reunification-with-somalia/
The history behind it and also indicates control of SSC Khaatumo: https://newlinesmag.com/reportage/inside-the-newest-conflict-in-somalias-long-civil-war/
Tensions still exist till now although we drove them (Somaliland) out: https://www.garoweonline.com/en/news/somalia/somalia-ssc-khatumo-warn-somaliland-over-future-invasions
The capture of Maraaga and GojaCade bases and withdrawal of Somaliland to their tribal borders: https://halqabsi.com/2023/08/ssc-khaatumo-forces-capture-goojacade/
Official recognition of Khaatumo State as a official member state of the Federal Republic of Somalia: https://thesomalidigest.com/somali-government-makes-a-strategic-move-by-recognizing-ssc-khaatumo/
announcing a governing council in Lasanod proving we have control of the city: https://www.somalidispatch.com/latest-news/ssc-khaatumo-announces-a-governing-council/
This proofs our land being liberated as Somaliland regroups at Oog after their defeat on the 25th of August this year: https://hornobserver.com/articles/2437/Somaliland-deploys-more-forces-to-Oog-announces-military-action-against-SSC-Khaatumo
This proofs since earlier this month that Lasanod was and still is under our control and the people of the city: https://kaabtv.com/ciidamada-ssc-somaliland-waan-ka-saarnay-laascaanood-waxaa-noo-haray-gooja-cadde/ Saidboateng1431 (talk) 13:47, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for presenting the sources. Sources do not just have to exist. They need to be indicated inline in the description. For example, the title of the first web page is "Protests in Breakaway Somaliland Call for Reunification with Somalia" you need to write
<ref>{{Cite web |title=Protests in Breakaway Somaliland Call for Reunification with Somalia |url=https://towardfreedom.org/story/archives/africa-archives/protests-in-breakaway-somaliland-call-for-reunification-with-somalia/ |accessdate=2023-11-15 }}</ref>
because you checked it on November 15.
Start of the demonstrations that eventually resulted to drive Somaliland away from our regions.[1]
However, the sources you listed are not sufficient to explain your description. For example, Midhisho is a town in Sanaag, but the above sources do not indicate that this is Khatumo territory. Freetrashbox (talk) 13:00, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
