Input on draft article for Noah Eisenberg
[edit]Hello, responding for a feedback request on a draft article for Noah Eisenberg. In my opinion the content is good and sourced sufficiently, but I am not sure the player plays at a high enough level to warrant a Wikipedia entry. The article may not stay up as a result.
Orphaned non-free image File:Google Doc Logo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Google Doc Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:20, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:04, 20 September 2018 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Google Sheets Logo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Google Sheets Logo.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Constellation Baltimore Headquarters.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Constellation Baltimore Headquarters.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 18:08, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Solomon L. Wisenberg.png
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Solomon L. Wisenberg.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello, SBCornelius. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.
- Hi SBCornelius, Greetings. Pls disclose WP:PAY on not only on the article talk page but also your user page. See template - Template:Paid. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 07:22, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
- Hi @CASSIOPEIA:, I recently made significant edits to the Solomon L. Wisenberg article in the draft space. I've also listed all COI on my talk page as well. After editing the draft article, I posted a few thoughts on the article's talk page to outline parallels with other Wikipedia articles. Any additional feedback would be appreciated. Thanks for the help. SBCornelius (talk) 17:29, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
- Hi SBCornelius, Greetings. Kindly remove all content that are not supported by sources and secondly do note that we review the notability of the article individually and not comparing it to other articles in the mainspace. You draft page is in the pool waiting to be review at the moment and the backlog is about 4-6 weeks as we have about 3.5-4.0K draft in the pool. Please be patient. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 01:27, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
Paid editing
[edit]Hello SBCornelius. I can see that you're aware of our paid editing and conflict of interest policies and have made an attempt to comply with them. However, I need to remind you that:
- Every paid contribution you make needs to be linked to a disclosure. You've disclosed that you have been paid by Constellation (energy company), but only on the talk page of that article. This means your edits to other articles on their behalf (nearly all your edits between 5 December and 20 December) still constitute undisclosed paid editing. The easiest way to ensure your financial conflict of interests are always clearly disclosed is to list them on your talk page.
- You should not edit pages directly where you have a conflict of interest, use Wikipedia:Edit requests.
- You should not directly create pages where you have a conflict of interest, use Wikipedia:Articles for Creation. I have moved Solomon L. Wisenberg to draft for that reason.
And generally, please note that WP:PAID is the bare minimum you need to do in order to comply with WMF's Terms of Use. Wikipedia is not for promotion and the community as a whole does not welcome paid editors. If you continue to use your account solely for promotional purposes, you will be blocked. – Joe (talk) 18:13, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
non-minor edits marked as minor
[edit]Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you.

Speedy deletion nomination of Google Chat (formerly Hangouts Chat)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Google Chat (formerly Hangouts Chat), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". - Please excuse me butting in, but User:SBCornelius has properly and transparently declared both his COI and agenda in a template at the top of Talk:Care.com. --BushelCandle 23:52, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
- DGG Yes I am. I need to update my user page, but I have declared COI on the Care.com article talk page with a COI tag and openly stating it in my posting about the original research issue with the Medium article. SBCornelius (talk) 02:03, 5 May 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Noah Eisenberg
[edit]I don't see that he qualifies for notability under WP:FOOTY/Notability, though he can probably qualify under the general notability guidelines as he has significant coverage from secondary sources. That's just my opinion, I'm sure if you did create it, the folks at WP:FOOTY will look to delete it so you'll need to make a strong case to keep it. Good luck. Request reason:
Although I do paid editing, this was not a paid edit. I have a consistent history of including a COI tag before I make any paid edits and always use the AfC process for new articles. I understand the confusion given my status as a paid editor and I'm open to using any procedure you'd recommend for identifying edits that I make on my own as a non-paid editor. I've included more details in reply to the post on my Talk page. ~~~~
Decline reason:
Note that you do not have to be specifically paid to edit to be a paid editor; any paid relationship must be disclosed even if you do not have a specific request to edit. The main issue here is that you make paid edits directly when you should be making edit requests. 331dot (talk) 08:22, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Noah Eisenberg moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Noah Eisenberg, appears to be undisclosed paid editing. I've moved it to draft space. Once you've made any necessary disclosure you can submit it using the Articles for Creation template on the page. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 11:33, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Justlettersandnumbers and thanks for posting here about the situation. I've started the review process of the block, but wanted to give you more details here since I tried to be brief when following the official process above. I do paid editing but this was not a paid edit, so I did not include the COI tag. I see now how this can be unclear and I've looked for documentation on how to handle this situation and haven't found any. Please let me know if you have an idea of how an editor who usually makes paid edits should declare that an edit or article creation is unpaid.
- For full disclosure, the subject did reach out to me with questions about how he was being treated by a disreputable company that said the could create an article. I did not take him on as a client, but since articles for players in his situation are short and formulaic and not time consuming to create, I decided to make this a personal project. Noah Eisenberg did not and will not pay for this.
- I felt that the page had a 50/50 shot of passing notability given other player articles and expected that it might be kicked back to draft space for consensus building and I will stand by consensus on the merits. I didn't expect to be blocked as part of the process. I'm happy to answer any additional questions or hear how you see this being resolved. If my limited contact with the subject requires a COI tag and the AfC process, I'm happy to do that.SBCornelius (talk) 21:38, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
- SBCornelius, just as I said in the block notice above, I've removed your ability to edit in mainspace because you have repeatedly and blatantly ignored our guidance for paid editors on editing in that space, and not because of the Noah Eisenberg page in particular. Please note that very strongly discouraged means just that. I suppose someone will now have to go through your edits and undo those that were inappropriate; that's a massive drain on volunteer editor time and goodwill which could otherwise have been put to better use.
- As for the Noah Eisenberg page, where exactly did you get the content? (please don't tell us that you wrote it from scratch, as that is not really believable).
- Your question about how an editor who usually makes paid edits should declare that an edit or article creation is unpaid is a good one, and one I can't really answer for you. The best way to avoid any suspicion of paid editing is to never do any, though even that is not infallible. Once you've missed that boat, anything you do is likely to be regarded with suspicion – you've effectively poisoned the well. As it turns out, in this particular case the suspicion was justified – whether or not you were or will be paid for it, you have a clear conflict of interest and definitely should have waited for it to go through the AfC process.
