I've taken some time away from this article so that I could come back with fresh eyes. After a second and third reading, I was able to identify and remove some content that previously felt necessary for context but that detracted from the article's encyclopedic feel. I welcome any feedback about the current version of the article.
I would also welcome feedback about the general noteworthiness of the subject, and want to share my rationale for creating the article. I roughly based the article's format on the article for Robert Baer. There are strong parallels between Baer and Wisenberg when considering their careers and positions as public figures or commentators. The parallels as I see them are that both men:
served at the highest levels of government
had inside access with processes that are largely hidden from public view
use their expertise and experience with opaque processes to provide insight into current events
provide this insight through media appearances
The noteworthiness of the Robert Baer article is not in question. And given the similarities between the two, it seems that the Wisenberg article meets the same standard, given the current prominence of issues related to how special prosecutors conduct investigations. I look forward to the community's thoughts and feedback. SBCornelius (talk)
