Accuracy in your edit summaries
[edit]Instead of putting "fixed typo" in your edit summaries, it would be better to say "updated label", "added sales", "updated sales", "added reference" etc. You do have accurate summaries on ocassion, but I've noticed that a lot of what you call typos aren't grammatical mistakes, spelling errors, or erroneously copied numbers, which is what "typo" generally refers to on here. Otherwise almost every single update on WP would be considered a typo. -- Carlobunnie (talk) 09:26, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
hlists
[edit]Please see Template:Infobox song before making further changes to song articles. For short lists of two or three items in the |genre=
or |label=
, we don't generally use {{hlist}}. Bulleted lists are preferred. Also, the |album=
or |EP=
should be the name of the first record from which the song was first released. --Ashleyyoursmile (talk) 19:58, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
Total_length
[edit]Just because the total_length parameter indicates the sum of the track lengths, does not mean we need to or even should put it at the end. In fact, if you check Template:Track listing, the parameter is placed at the top. Using Template:Nobold was additionally unnecessary—too much or even the use of nobold at all is inappropriate with some editors. Ss112 04:26, 10 September 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Rupturestriker/sandbox
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:Rupturestriker/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://searchenterpriseai.techtarget.com/definition/agent-intelligent-agent. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit]Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:18, 18 September 2021 (UTC)

Good Article icon
[edit]Hello! I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions has been undone because it added the Good Article template to Still Dreaming (TXT album), an article that has not been promoted by the Good Article Nomination process. If you believe that this article meets the Good Article Criteria, then you are encouraged to nominate it for review by following the Good Article nominating instructions. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Good Article Nominations talk page. Thank you. -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 13:45, 12 November 2021 (UTC)
"Fixed typo"
[edit]Hi. I notice you've been asked this before but have largely ignored that request, so I'll make another attempt. Please do not use edit summaries stating "fixed typo" unless you are correcting an actual typing error. Adding an unsourced address to an infobox with the edit summary "fixed typo" borders on disruptive. Robvanvee 10:20, 16 November 2021 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Toho Cinmas logo.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Toho Cinmas logo.gif. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 06:30, 29 March 2022 (UTC)

- As per the templete:infobox company" the CEO is above the chairman. Rupturestriker (talk) 12:16, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
Information 2
[edit]Wrong. The chairman of the board of directors is above the CEO; because the chairman of the board of directors receives the order from the shareholders of the company and the CEO has to obey what the chairman of the board of directors and the shareholders have decided. MISTER PAULO FERRARI (talk) 12:27, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
What about the page Apple Inc. ? Rupturestriker (talk) 13:21, 1 April 2022 (UTC)
Apple inc.
[edit]On the Apple inc page, the company hierarchy (Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer) is also in the wrong order, me, you, other editors or admins need to correct that too. MISTER PAULO FERRARI (talk) 11:41, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
- The instruction from Template:Infobox company:
- Up to four key individuals closely associated with the company. If there is more than one entry, use to format the entries. List the figures in order of organizational role importance. Give job title(s) in parentheses (round brackets); these job titles use standard English casing. If a founder is already listed in the founder parameter, do not list them again here as a founder; if the founder still holds an executive job with the company, you may, however, list them along with their job title (chairman, president, etc.).
- Generally list prominent, current executives within the company holding key positions such as chairman, chief executive officer, president, VP of design, etc., but do not list roles below chief officer level if they are not notable. Do include top executives even not individually notable, but do not wiki-link them.
- Use popular names rather than formal names if the key figure has an existing Wikipedia article.
- For defunct companies, list the most prominent former executives.
- Example:
- Rupturestriker (talk) 12:04, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
- Tim Cook (CEO)
- Arthur D. Levinson (chairman)
- Jonathan Ive (SVP of industrial design)
- Steve Jobs (chairman, 1976–1985, 2011; CEO, 1997–2011)
Jason Kilar hasn't left
[edit]Kilar only made an announcement he is leaving. Hw hasn't actually stepped down. He is expected to leave on 8 April. Please read this [1] and don't add he is no longer WarnerMedia CEO again. Announcement doesn't necessarily mean something has already happened. AbsolutelyFiring (talk) 16:28, 5 April 2022 (UTC)

The file File:The Flash (film) poster.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
File is not an actual poster of the subject film The Flash (film), and has since been re-uploaded to the file that has been used on that article, File:The Flash (film) logo.jpg.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Trailblazer101 (talk) 17:41, 15 May 2022 (UTC)

This doesn't tell us what your disruption was. We know, but to unblock you we need to know that you know. Many people create pages that do not add to the encyclopedia(Wikipedia has articles, not pages). I'm also a bit concerned that you needed to first know the consequences; most inappropriate behavior is common sense even without knowing the consequences. 331dot (talk) 13:53, 2 June 2022 (UTC)

I am here to build wikipedia, and I want to correct things that I see wrong, I want to source information and link it. Thats all I was doing here. Whenever someone reverted my edit I began to undo that acton, and repeated my edit. I don't want misinformation on Wikipedia and that's the the reason I created this account. Whoever found my way of editing going against the way of making wikipedia, didn't really highlight my proper mistake. - You should read WP:VG/OFFICIAL and WP:TRUTH. The first link goes to the video game wikiproject and talks about video games, but it can be generalized to include most pop culture. Wikipedia is written according to what reliable sources say, not what you think is true. Pop culture today leaves behind a long trail of primary sources, including press releases, advertisements, posters, and other promotional material. The internet makes it easy to find even more primary sources, such as copyright statements and even government records. And once it's released, the work itself becomes a primary source. Many of these sources would be considered "official" elsewhere on the internet and thus of the highest quality and reliability. However, Wikipedia policy does not really care much about whether something is official, and it instead prioritizes what third-party, reliable sources say. If a reliable source says a company produced a film, that's what Wikipedia says. It doesn't matter whether that company's logo is on some official-looking promotional material, or the company is on the copyright statement, or whatever. You seem to be going through film articles and removing citations whenever you disagree with what the source says. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 15:01, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
