Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:41, 24 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Formal mediation has been requested

[edit]
The Mediation Committee has received a request for formal mediation of the dispute relating to "Firefox". As an editor concerned in this dispute, you are invited to participate in the mediation. Mediation is a voluntary process which resolves a dispute over article content by facilitation, consensus-building, and compromise among the involved editors. After reviewing the request page, the formal mediation policy, and the guide to formal mediation, please indicate in the "party agreement" section whether you agree to participate. Because requests must be responded to by the Mediation Committee within seven days, please respond to the request by 2 May 2012.

Discussion relating to the mediation request is welcome at the case talk page. Thank you.

Request for mediation rejected

[edit]
The request for formal mediation concerning Firefox, to which you were listed as a party, has been declined. To read an explanation by the Mediation Committee for the rejection of this request, see the mediation request page, which will be deleted by an administrator after a reasonable time. Please direct questions relating to this request to the Chairman of the Committee, or to the mailing list. For more information on forms of dispute resolution, other than formal mediation, that are available, see Wikipedia:Dispute resolution.

Hi Robin. I would like to know why you removed the following points from the article: :)

  • The entire folder tree view in the navigation pane cannot be collapsed as could be done in Windows Explorer on Windows Vista.
  • Selection of multiple items is not retained across back and forward navigation.

They are unreferenced I know but not inaccurate. Let me clarify:

  • In Windows Vista Explorer, this entire folder tree could be collapsed/expanded vertically all the way to the bottom by dragging it or by clicking the v button. You could just keep Favorites. This is gone in Windows 7. Now you have to turn off the navigation pane entirely including Favorites.
  • On Windows Vista or Windows XP, select multiple items in the right pane of Explorer. Now click another folder in the left pane of Explorer. Then click Back. Notice how when you are taken back, the selection of items is restored in the right pane. It no longer works in Windows 7 because of the different control used for Explorer views. - xpclient Talk 07:20, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Opera Mini 7.0.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Opera Mini 7.0.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. References

[edit]

We at Wikipedia love evidence-based medicine. Please cite high-quality reliable sources. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. A list of resources to help edit such articles can be found here. The edit box has a build in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. WP:MEDHOW walks through editing step by step. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 23:36, 2 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ofcourse, I know you are a doctor. And I also know I have the least amount of information compared to you in those medicinal cases. :) But if you're one of the OCD affected persons, you know what that means.  :) @Doc James (talk · contribs · email)
