Copying licensed material requires attribution
[edit]Hi. I see in a recent addition to List of World Heritage Sites in Canada you included material from a webpage that is available under a compatible Creative Commons Licence. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. It's also required under the terms of the license. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa (talk) 11:37, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
Spicomellus
[edit]Hi. You recently reverted my edit on the Spicomellus article, even though, from what I read in the paper, there was nothing wrong with it. Would you be so kind as to provide me with the reasoning behind your action? Sincerely, TimTheDragonRider (talk) 19:25, 23 September 2021 (UTC)
An article you recently created, Kuhnemys, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 16:10, 27 September 2021 (UTC)

Are you sure this is going to be maintainable? Museums don't always say that much when they rotate their collections. Also is this limited to human mummies?©Geni (talk) 17:11, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
- 1. Yeah. Maybe change it to "in their collections?"
- 3. Indeed it's only human mummies. Roadrunnerfromhell (talk) 20:35, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
Deletion discussion about Northumberland Zoo
[edit]Hello Roadrunnerfromhell, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Northumberland Zoo, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Northumberland Zoo.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Cremastra}}
. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
