Project News Montreal Screwjob was featured on the Main Page as "Today's featured article" on November 9, 2007. December to Dismember (2006) and Shelton Benjamin have been elevated to Featured article status. Their respective nomination pages can see viewed here and here. Bobby Eaton is currently a Featured Article candidate. It's nomination page can be found here. Images of Beth Phoenix and the Crippler Crossface are currently Featured picture candidates. Their respective nomination pages can be found here and here. IWGP World Heavyweight Championship and NWA World Women's Championship are currently Featured list candidates. Their respective nomination pages can be found here and here. Al Costello, In Your House 1: Premiere and One Night Stand (2005) have been elevated to Good article status. Cyber Sunday (2007), Melina Perez, One Night Stand (2006) and Randy Orton are currently Good article candidates.

Current Events Solofa Fatu (known as Junior Fatu, and previously as Rikishi) was released from Total Nonstop Action Wrestling on October 25 2007 over a financial dispute, ending his short lived return to television. John Layfield's wife takes serious heat over Citigroup financial advice on November 1 2007. Brooke Adams (known simply as Brooke) was released from World Wrestling Entertainment on November 1 2007. Lilian Ellison (known as The Fabulous Moolah) passed away November 2 2007 at age 84. Chris Mordetsky and Harry Smith (known as Chris Masters and D.H. Smith, respectively) were suspended from World Wrestling Entertainment as of November 2 2007 for Wellness Policy violations. Mordetsky was released from his contract six says later.

From the Editor Welcome to the inaugural edition of the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter! I hope this will be a good source of news to those people interested in what's happening around our pro wrestlimg community. I plan to release it every Sunday. This newsletter will just be a way to get the community announcements to people who don't have the time to check the mesageboards, as well that to those just curious about the news. The newsleter will consist of a project news section (to do with what's happening on Wikipedia), and a current events section (relating to news in the "real world"). The newslette will also contain the Collaboration of the Week announcement. That's all. I did that, i.e. removing the move, because she's used it once. You cannot claim that it is a signature or finshing move because she's used it once. If she uses it a couple more times feel free to re-add it. Until then, I would appreciate it if you would undo your edit that re-added it. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
