Edited Harrowsmith
I am a Virtual Assistant for Moongate Publishing who has taken over and resurrected Harrowsmith magazine.
I made changes to the Wikipedia page and it says they were not accepted.
What was wrong with it.
Thanks

- Hello! First of all, make sure to sign any posts you make on a talk page by inserting 4 tildes. Secondly, I reverted your edit because it removed references from the article and seemed to not be that useful of an edit. Would you mind telling what you were trying to do? Tompop888 (talk) (contribs) 04:13, 3 February 2017 (UTC)
Odd little edit summary that I do not understand
What humour are you talking about? I was trying to correct the busted link. You all come along and try to change it back. If you think this is funny you are very strange.
- Sorry, that was my mistake, what I should have said was to talk about the broken link on the page's talk page, not on the actual article. If you notice a broken link in the future, please talk about it on the article's talk page. Thank you. Tompop888 (talk) (contribs) 03:07, 4 February 2017 (UTC)
- I tagged it for a 404 error. My tag first and then my serial attempts to remake the link to a good place were quick at pounced on by 3 reverting do-we-say "entities" even when explained it further. It is plenty hard enough to get done on the article page but now you are strongly saying have a discussion first for a 404 link that needs fixing? Also tried to report the bot - as instructed on page - as a false positive. But the page won't uplink because the CAPTCHA doesn't work. That way there is no false positive reports. Thanks. Not so good system you have perhaps. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.238.38.161 (talk) 03:49, 4 February 2017 (UTC)
- Like I said, you should put up the notification for a broken link on the talk page of the article. Also, please sign your comments on talk pages by adding 4 tildes at the end of the command. Thank you. Tompop888 (talk) (contribs) 03:55, 4 February 2017 (UTC)

Sure Thing, Thank You. 178.238.38.161 (talk) 04:06, 4 February 2017 (UTC) I see now how to do it like the bot message several weeks ago on the talk page. 178.238.38.161 (talk) 04:09, 4 February 2017 (UTC)
Rapid tagging
This tag was too soon. In general, in the absence of blatant spam, blatant copyright violations, or a blatant personal attack page, new users should be given some time to develop their articles before a speedy deletion tag is added. The rule of thumb I use is 15 minutes. Otherwise, we risk biting the newbies and discouraging new editors. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 17:01, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
- Ok, my bad, I see my mistake now, I will wait at least 15 minutes before applying a tag to a page, thanks for letting me know. Tompop888 (talk) (contribs) 17:03, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
Inoki's fake reign
Inoki was never a WWE Champion. Stop lying, people. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.156.93.97 (talk) 20:36, 15 February 2017 (UTC)
If reigns like Inoki's count then Ric Flair is at least 22-time world champion. Wikipedia says it's 16-time. So why are you so inconsistent and count Inoki's reign but not recognize Flair as 22-time world champion. It's the same case - dropping the title to the local talents at tour.
- I'm sorry, but I'm not the one to talk about for this matter. I saw that you removed a huge chunk of a page with references and such, with a reason that did not describe it well enough in my opinion. Tompop888 (talk) (contribs) 20:42, 15 February 2017 (UTC)
Hi Tompop888. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Mifter (talk) 02:12, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

Pending changes reviewer granted
Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. Message
Josephin.peichl (talk) 20:12, 21 February 2017 (UTC) Hello Tompop888,
I received your message that you deleted my update to Kyle Cooper's wikipedia page. This edit I made is per the request of Kyle Cooper directly since information stated in the current article is false and not up to date. Could you please tell me the reason why I am not allowed to change page to accurate and up to date content?
Thank you and best,
Josephin
- Hello, and thanks for the talk page message, but I reverted your edit on the Kyle Cooper Wikipedia Page because I saw that I believe the previous version of the article was overall better in my opinion. If you think your edit was helpful to the article, go ahead and undo my edit. Tompop888 (talk) (contribs) 20:21, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
Res publica
...should be italicized in that context because it is an untranslated Latin term, and is elsewhere in the article treated as such when not quotated, so I disagree with your reversion but will not contest it unless you or someone decides to do it throughout the article. 2600:1004:B101:E40B:49D4:CC59:6638:30B0 (talk) 01:51, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
- @2600:1004:B101:E40B:49D4:CC59:6638:30B0: Yes, I do agree with that, but I reverted your edit because you added an é to the top of the page, which should not belong on the article. You can go ahead and re italic Res publica, but don't add in the é at the start of the page. Tompop888 (talk) (contribs) 02:59, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
Message from Grossmansimon
Grossmansimon (talk) 02:49, 25 February 2017 (UTC) Hello, I saw your message that you restored the Lev Goldman Wikipedia Page. I attempted to delete the page which I created minutes earlier because I realized that I had accidently published the page without adding sources as well as some supporting information that otherwise makes the page inaccurate. As I am a new user, I would appreciate it if you could help me to delete the page. Thanks, Grossmansimon
- @Grossmansimon: Well, it looks like the page was speedy deleted, so it is gone from Wikipedia now. I would recommend creating a draft page for the article and then editing it from there. Hope that helps! Tompop888 (talk) (contribs) 02:55, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
Message from Reallyyeah
what is your obsession... or connection to Donald? Have you heard of innocent until proven guilty? hmmm, the man is dead and your 'facts' are based on presumption!
- Hello @Reallyyeah: First, let me get this out of the way, when messaging someone on their talk page, please create a new section and sign your post by putting 4 tildes after your message. Secondly, Wikipedia is a site that displays facts about a person. Does not matter if the person can't "defend" themselves, we provide the facts from reliable secondary sources. You removed a piece of the article that had a reliable secondary source and supplied information about the person. Even if the information is not necessarily pleasant, we display it anyways because it is important. Hope this helps. Tompop888 (talk) (contribs) 21:05, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
- Agreed. Reallyyeah, the 'facts' are based not on presumption but on admissions which Friend himself made in his diaries. Before removing material, please read the actual citation which accompanies it. However, it's good to see editors of this article once again willing to discuss their reversions. If you'd like to discuss the matter further, it's probably best that we do so on the talk page of the Friend article. Thanks. -- Meticulo (talk) 23:08, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
Please remove all of the TV Movies
Please remove all of the rare TV Movie, and also please remove all of the The Adventures of Mary Kate & Ashley, and also remove You're Invited to Mary Kate & Ashley too, because they're just not that findable and they were never release on any format like DVD or BluRay. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.88.69.248 (talk) 23:45, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
- Hello @75.88.69.248: I'm sorry but I can't do that. Those pages have sources and just because you can't find something in real life, does not mean that the article should not exist. Tompop888 (talk) (contribs) 23:49, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 10
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Parker (surname), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Chris Parker and Gordon Parker. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:50, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
Robert Bass - My error
I was looking at vandalism by 120.188.71.202 on Robert Bass and accidentally reverted your fix of the same issue. I have since restored your (correct) edit.
My apologies. Thank you for your good work.
--KNHaw (talk) 05:01, 16 March 2017 (UTC)
- @KNHaw: It's fine. I sometimes end up clicking rollback on my own reverts and end up adding back in the vandalism I just got rid of. Everyone makes mistakes. Tompop888 (talk) (contribs) 05:03, 16 March 2017 (UTC)

Message from Blank5968
Yes tom I put controversy on 2017 Kids Choice Awards cause it's true and I said there wasn't a statement so how am I going to provide a citation if there isn't a statement yet. Blank5968 (talk) 06:12, 16 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Blank5968: If there is controversy that is notable enough to list on Wikipedia, their should be at least one source for the controversy. Otherwise, it is most likely not that notable. Or at least, that is how I think about it. Tompop888 (talk) (contribs) 06:15, 16 March 2017 (UTC)

Hi Tompop 888 I received your message that the changes werent properly explained. I do apologise for this. The changes that I made however are accurate of the company's current situation
- Hello @Conorguy17:
- The main reason I reverted your edits was that you removed parts of the history and changed the foundation date of the company. Last time I checked, this does not happen in real life. So that is why I reverted your edits. Tompop888 (talk) (contribs) 19:06, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
Changes
hi Tompop 888
I received your notification that I didnt accurately explain the changes. I do apologise for the lack of clarification. The amendments provide an accurate account of the company's situation, if you can kindly reinstate my changes
best regards Conorguy17 (talk) 19:07, 19 March 2017 (UTC) 19/03/2017
The reason I edited it because the company was amalgamated in 2012 and became Envirogreen Polymers ltd and some of the history that was previously listed was completely inaccurate
Can you reinstate my changes please. thank you Conorguy17 (talk) 19:16, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Conorguy17: Sorry, but I personally believe the article was better before your edits. However, you can go ahead and reinstate in your edits and I will not revert them. Tompop888 (talk) (contribs) 19:17, 19 March 2017 (UTC)

Norouz vs Nowruz
I recently looked up Norooz on Wikipedia and realized that it is written "Nowruz". I don't know when and why the first person used the spelling "Nowruz" which does not sound like the original pronunciation. Therefore I changed all the "Nowruz" words to "Norooz". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.162.208.179 (talk) 22:21, 19 March 2017 (UTC)

Gaslighting
The part about President Trump is not factual it is opinion. And it is bashing that is why I removed it. 207.144.253.59 (talk) 23:15, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
- I am assuming you are talking about this [1] and how someone reverted it. Well, I am not the one who reverted it and even if you are not talking about that edit, the only edit I reverted of yours was because you had no edit summary. Tompop888 (talk) (contribs) 15:48, 27 March 2017 (UTC)

Hijack of Bigpond article
You reverted my attempts to stop a hijack attempt of the Bigpond article by Telstra Media. Pls refer to Talk of the article. Telstra Media is NOT Bigpond. Bigpond is primarily a broadband product which has been subsumed by Telstra proper. Most of the article is about that broadband product which has nothign to do with Telstra Media. Thanks.
