Welcome!
[edit]Welcome!
Hello, Ricky384, and welcome to Wikipedia! I have noticed that you are fairly new! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. I also see that some of your recent edits, such as the ones to the page Hamza Ali Abbasi, show an interest in the use of images and/or photos on Wikipedia.
Did you know that ...
- ...Wikipedia has a very stringent image use policy?
- ...most images from Flickr, online news websites, and other web sources are copyrighted?
- ...Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously?
- ...freely-licensed images should be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, a central location for images where they can be used on all Wikipedia projects?
- ...we recommend that new users use our "files for upload" process - at least until you get the hang of things?
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{Help me}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Sources
[edit]Hello, I'm Ponyo. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Humaima Malick, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:40, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Zara farooq
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Zara farooq requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Your uploads and edits
[edit]You have quite a history of adding copyrighted images. You just uploaded File:Khan is a Pakistani actress.jpg which appears here and many other sites. Two things:
- Tip: If the flickr image looks professional, please check the flickr uploader's other uploads. If the camera model is different for each image, and the shots look professional and all different styles, then please assume that the flickr account doesn't own the rights and therefore has no right to have and issue a 2.0 license.
- Caution: Considering your history, I must caution you about further copyright violations. Please be 100% sure the images are not just taken from somewhere. Only upload images you own or are sure about. Persistent uploaders of copyrighted material may be blocked from editing.
Thanks. 09:04, 30 September 2015 (UTC)

Copyright violations - Final warning
[edit]You are blocked on Commons for persistent addition of copyright violations, you cannot simply continue to do so here. If you upload any addition copyright violating images you will be blocked from editing.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:44, 7 October 2015 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Adnan shah tipu, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://pak101.com/c/celebrities/bio/572/Actors_TV/Adnan_Shah_Tipu.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) CorenSearchBot (talk) 15:10, 8 October 2015 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Adnan shah tipu requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://pak101.com/c/celebrities/bio/572/Actors_TV/Adnan_Shah_Tipu. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

[edit]Hello, I'm Guanaco. I noticed that in this edit to Terrorist incidents in Pakistan in 2016, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. —Guanaco 07:05, 5 June 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 9
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Maria Wasti, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kaun (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
