Image without license
[edit]Unspecified source/license for File:Journal of the San Juan Islands A1 (230x300).jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Journal of the San Juan Islands A1 (230x300).jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (Talk • Contribs • Owner) 20:00, 20 August 2017 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Journal of the San Juan Islands July 10, 2013.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Journal of the San Juan Islands July 10, 2013.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:30, 20 August 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 7
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited David J. Bellis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Signal Hill (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Deborah Parker information
[edit]I noticed that you added the list entry of Deborah Parker to Yaqui § Notable Yaqui in May 2017 (and may have been the IP address that added her in September 2014, though I'm not linking the diff for the sake of your privacy). Therein, you specified that she is the "daughter of a Tulalip Tribes father and a Yaqui mother."
Do you have a source for this? I have searched extensively for one—indeed, of any biographic information about her early life—and have found none. If you do have a source, or could point to where I could find such information, it would be greatly appreciated since I am currently trying to improve coverage of her on Wikipedia. Thanks. —Nøkkenbuer (talk • contribs) 06:11, 5 June 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Snuggums (talk / edits) 16:11, 29 October 2018 (UTC)

Refrain from inserting bias into articles
[edit]Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 14:51, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
My response: An early death caused by assassination or plane crash is more accurately described as a "tragedy" than an "incident."
- No, "tragedy" is a personal opinion that doesn't belong in article section titles. "Incident" is an accurate description. We need to keep articles neutral. Adding biased terms like "tragedy" in the way you have is counterproductive. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 05:28, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
