Gujarat
[edit]In section Destruction of Somnath Temple you have put that "killing over 50,000 people who tried to defend it." and "The defenders included the 90-year-old clan leader Ghogha Rana. Mahmud had the gilded lingam broken into pieces and had them made into steps for his mosque and palace." However the ref number 28 you have put beside that sentence does not say that; it only mentions about the doors which were taken from Somnath temple and nothing about anything you mentioned. please find a better ref.--Vyom25 (talk) 05:37, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Sitush. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Ismail Mahomed, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Lohana. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Sitush (talk) 20:42, 2 September 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Amode Ibrahim Atchia
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Amode Ibrahim Atchia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.lexpress.mu/article/genuis-amode-ibrahim-atchia-1868-1947. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —Largo Plazo (talk) 02:02, 24 September 2013 (UTC)

Blacklisted references
[edit]When removing <ref>s using blacklisted links, as you did in this edit, please be sure not to leave orphaned refs behind (e.g. these). Speedy deletion nomination of H.M. Rawat
[edit]Hello Ribena786,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged H.M. Rawat for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

Gujarat section
[edit]If there are problems with the paragraphs, you can attribute? Like you can remove the grammatical errors, that you have found. Because simply cutting off the whole paragraphs is simply incorrect way, there are evidences that Shivaji went to Surat, and he has history with Gujarat. Bladesmulti (talk) 18:08, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
Yes, you are correct. I will look into the paragraphs and spelling mistakes. Yes, Shivaji has a connection with Gujarat, but that paragraph belong in the Maratha empire section of the Gujarat article, otherwise that would be editorial sloppiness. We have to keep historical events confined to their own section. I will polish up that section and reintroduce Shivaji's contribution later. --Ribena786 (talk) 18:25, 10 January 2014 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Nofel Izz. Please take this time to familiarize yourself with the our policies regarding living persons if you intent to continue editing them once your block expires.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 17:59, 27 January 2015 (UTC)
Hi, I see you have blocked me from editing on wikipedia. I am sorry to see that you have blocked me because I have broken 'biography of living' persons rules. Would it be okay to categorize a living person under the ethnic 'Gujarati people' if it is stated that they were born in Gujarat and are Gujarati on their wikipedia profile? I have tried to add sources where I can, where the person also states that they belong to that ethnic group, such as that I did for the Indian actor Sameer Dattani.
I think Chateshwar Pujara, and Ravindra Jadeja, Indian crickets, are Gujarati as well, and they need to be added to the Gujarati people category. Perhaps you could do that for me? Also, are you good at writing articles? If so, could you write one on Karan Suchak, Gujarati-origin actor who played the role of Dhrishtadyumna, great warrior in Mahabharat, in Siddharth Kumar Tewary's show?

Proposed deletion of Pia Trivedi
[edit]The article Pia Trivedi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- As per WP:NACTOR. Not at all notable, only one film with side role. - Ninney (talk) 22:48, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ninney (talk) 22:48, 18 May 2015 (UTC)

Inappropriate restoration of nonfree images
[edit]Please familiarize yourself with the English Wikipedia's policy regarding the use of nonfree images. Nonfree (copyrighted) images of persons may not be used in infoboxes except in the biography regarding the person depicted, and may only be used when no suitable alternative may be available. A nonfree image may not, in general, be used to provide an image of an example of a member of an ethnic, national, or religious group. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 04:39, 26 October 2015 (UTC)

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Arbitrary reordering
[edit]Hi there, re: this, it would be appreciated if you'd please provide clear explanations when you reorder items in a list. Unexplained reordering tends to look arbitrary, as if you are entertaining your personal preferences. I'm sure you can understand why this would be problematic. Articles about Indian subjects, particularly when focused on ethnicities, castes, religions, and so on, suffer heavy disruptions from editors who wage cultural wars in Wikipedia articles. Silent changes like the ones you made are indistinguishable from this cultural/ethnic warring. Thank you, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:27, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
