[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Arnaud-Michel d'Abbadie, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. LilianaUwU (talk / contribs) 09:38, 7 November 2022 (UTC)
Please do not add content to this article that has been machine translated without attempting to fix it first. Furthermore, your edits have changed wikilinks to external links which goes against our manual of style. I suggest that you make a copy of the article to your User:Ras mekonnen4334/sandbox and work on it there, and when it is ready you can add it to the article. ... discospinster talk 15:43, 7 November 2022 (UTC)

Ethiopian-Israelis
[edit]Hello. The source your removed from the Amhara people literally states that there are 170K migrants (majority are Amhara) at the time of the census. Just a heads up, this edit is reverted. Petra0922 (talk) 19:39, 22 June 2023 (UTC)
- Hello. The Ethiopians present in Israel are not Amharas, they are betas israel (falacha). Besides, your sources absolutely do not mention an Amhara presence in Israel.
- They are already more than 160,000 in Israel and there are more of them than in Ethiopia.

- @Ras mekonnen4334, could you please respond to the questions brought up here? I believe, you started that discussion and it only makes sense to come to consensus before going ahead and modifying the topic in discussion. Petra0922 (talk) 21:06, 26 June 2023 (UTC)

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from British expedition to Abyssinia into Tewodros II. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 01:16, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
Blocked for sockpuppetry
[edit]Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:
- Hello, I created this account, "Arnauld" and "Paul soleillet" because of a dispute concerning an article. It was the first time I edited on wikipedia, I had spent a lot of time on the article and all my information was systematically erased. So I created these 2 accounts to be able to submit this information. I was still a beginner and I did this because of a total misunderstanding. But an administrator kindly told me what was wrong with my article in a private message. I corrected it and I was able to add the information I wanted to put. But the administrator did not tell me that using multiple accounts was not allowed.
- So I used "ras mekonnen" when I was on my phone and "Arnauld" when I was on my computer (I had saved the passwords on it). For the account "Achille lannes", I was with a device that was not mine so it was occasional (I only modified one article with ).
- You can therefore delete / block all my accounts and if I can finally keep one, I will keep "ras mekonnen".
- And for Gabi838r, I had read several rich information on the Tewodros II page. I then saw that they had been deleted and that the account (Gabi) had been blocked. So I decided to put them back because I thought that what was causing problems was that they had been edited by a blocked account, and that its information as such posed no problem (because being in accordance with the rules of wikipedia).
- I therefore allowed myself to restore some articles that I found interesting, and sometimes when I had my own information I put them in place of his.

- (Besides, if his information does not pose any problems, is it possible to keep them? Or at least the one that I wrote myself? )
- I started doing this last month, you can see before June I never did this simply because it's not the purpose of my account.
- Concerning Ethiopique/BaklavaEnjoyer, I don't know who this person is, I just know that he modified two of my articles:
- And
- https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Konzoula
- As proposed by Apaugasma you can check if we are related CU-wise to sock Ethiopique/BaklavaEnjoyer. Ras mekonnen4334 (talk) 21:02, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I could almost believe this if all of your usernames were related, or were something random. But this really reads like you tried to create separate personas, with distinct first names or full names. I think your only way forward here is the standard offer. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 02:47, 15 August 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Hi - I got a message from an IP user on my talk page, purporting to be you. Assuming it was you, I'm not going to review your unblock request - I'll leave that to another checkuser to consider. I will note that I find it difficult to believe that anyone would naturally think that it was OK to use multiple different accounts to edit the same articles, and reinstating edits that you knew were made by a blocked account, without any discussion or explanation, is also a rather unusual thing for someone to do. You were also continuing to violate our copyright policy (specifically, WP:CWW) after being warned about that by another administrator. Girth Summit (blether) 10:48, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
