- @Kathleen's bike have been editing infoboxes from quite a time,
- i added Pakistan to the indonesian side in the infobox since Pakistani leader ship did not only diplomatically support indonesia they also sent troops to fight in various battles even before partition and after partition Pakistan again sent troops. The Pakistani leader Muhammad ali Jinnah in the last days of August he ordered detention of the Dutch planes at Karachi airport. The planes, full of weapons, were on their way to Jakarta as part of the Dutch reinforcement arsenal to augment aggression against the Indonesian Republic.
- As a recognition of the assistance from Pakistani Muslim soldiers, Indonesia presented Independence War Awards to the volunteer fighters and the highest honour of Adipura to Muhammad Ali Jinnah posthumously during the Indonesian Golden Jubilee celebration of 17 August 1995

- There is no mention of Pakistan in the main body of the article at Indonesian National Revolution, see guidance at MOS:INFOBOXPURPOSE and also the request for comment at Template talk:Infobox military conflict#RfC on "supported by" being used with the belligerent parameter. Kathleen's bike (talk) 13:55, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
- In this case if wikipedia is changing the use of infobox just to mention beligerents, so the supporters or foreign involvement would be placed in a seperate section with a heading in the article?
- I dont see here at the indonesian war of independence, so should i just create a section.... Rahim231 (talk) 05:38, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
Your contributed article, Rawalakot Rebellion
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Rawalakot Rebellion. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – 1947 Poonch rebellion. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at 1947 Poonch rebellion. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Kautilya3 (talk) 13:06, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Kautilya3 I would like to explain you, that you might've have mistaken the article for duplication of Poonch rebellion due to the name of the article, However it isnt. The Article might be named wrongly but the sources indicate's about the battle and small actions which occured. you can read it from page 9-12 in the source i used. The source also directly states that:-
- "The next night, Captain Hussain Khan collected 200 Home Guards and notables at Miral Gala (Rawalakot), and declared war against the Dogra ruler. He administered an oath to the Mujahideen to fight for accession to the dominion of Pakistan at all costs."
- now if we see it in this sense Captain hussian revolted or rebelled right ? and then led them into a battle (Battle of Rawalakot against the state troops.

I have sent you a note about a page you started
[edit]Hi Rahim231. Thank you for your work on Battle of Rawalakot. Another editor, GreenLipstickLesbian, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
I had to remove a lot of article because it was a blatant copyright infringement. I see you've already been warned multiple times not to add copyrighted text to Wikipedia. Please let this be the last time. I've also added some maintenance tags. If you'd like me to move this article back to the draft space so you can rewrite the sections I had to take out, please let me know.
To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|GreenLipstickLesbian}}

GreenLipstickLesbian (talk) 23:37, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- @GreenLipstickLesbian sorry, I know i copied directly the content directly but the speedy deletion got me tense and i acted quickly, to make it clear it isnt the duplication of an old article. Rahim231 (talk) 12:52, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, @Rahim231! Thank you for being so honest about what happened. Deletion is a pretty scary process! Just so you know, copying and pasting outside content directly is much more likely to result in the new article's deletion than pretty much anything, but I understand why you acted the way you did! In the future, you can always work on drafts in your userspace, the draftspace, or your sandbox. You still have to follow Wikipedia's rules there (such as no copying and pasting content from ouside sources, no BLP violations), but those drafts won't be deleted without 6 months of inactivity, and it gives you a chance to make sure it's as good as can be before you move it to the mainspace. Battle of Rawalakot assessment
[edit]I am not sure whether Hawkeye7 finished this assessment. In any event, I think the lede (introduction) is too short. Please summarize the main points of the battle in a paragraph or two in the beginning. Usually, a very short introduction is viewed as inconsistent with the complete content guideline, which is in the text about B class but is not specifically set out in the five requirements. Also, the last two sentences of the last paragraph in the aftermath section need a citation. One will be enough if both points are covered in it, as I am sure you know. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 23:58, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Donner60 Yep i was also wondering about it so i waited for the reply.
- I Expanded and summarized the Prose by copying Important events from below, also added the citation in Aftermath. Thanks Rahim231 (talk) 10:03, 18 July 2024 (UTC)

Utopes (talk / cont) 12:40, 13 August 2024 (UTC)Action at Tsari
[edit]Hi Rahim: I need to review this article before I can confirm the bot assessment and contest entry end date assessment mainly because of the template at the top. However, coordinators review bot assessments monthly (or sooner if necessary) in any case. I think that this is likely a minor matter and the article can be reassessed as B, if it needs to be temporarily kept at a lower level. That may require the contest entry to be split between August and September. I have been short of time in part because of numerous requests for B class review. I will get to this as soon as I can. If the template is due to minor sentence structure issues, I will change it. If it appears to be something else, I will let you know what I think needs to be added or changed. In the meantime, I have marked the contest entry as pending review. Sorry for the delay. Donner60 (talk) 01:55, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
- no worries take your time. I'm eager to fix the issue i did edit it but still unsure if its fixed, Thanks. Rahim231 (talk) 08:09, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
- As far as I am concerned, if there was an issue, it has been fixed. I have no concerns with grammar, sentence structure or missing references. This was a complex situation because of the multiple parties involved and those changing sides. There were failures of communication for various reasons leading to uncertainties and complicating actions. I don't see a problem with this, especially if one takes the time to reading it slowly as I think is necessary. No objection or further comments have been made in response to your further edits. I am confirming your contest entry and will remove the maintenance tag. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 01:33, 27 August 2024 (UTC)

You can see these messages with the links by clicking on the edit tab, do not enter any change in the article or put anything on the edit summary line, then click show preview and the messages will appear. Please look into this. I suggest you review your references to see if any are not properly formatted. Since the problems do not show up in the article as viewed on the page, and the links have not helped me discover which of these might be a problem, I am at a loss to explain this further. In any event, it does not lead me to change the assessment or to reinsert the template at the top of the page. I think it is worthwhile to look at it in case a later question is raised about whether it has been investigated. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 01:58, 27 August 2024 (UTC)- I looked into the problem described by you but i couldn't find any messages of error.
