[edit]Hello Rachelemg. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Jay Feldman, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Rachelemg. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Rachelemg|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Sam Kuru (talk) 05:23, 7 January 2023 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Jay Feldman
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Jay Feldman, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. GPL93 (talk) 02:58, 8 January 2023 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Rachelemg. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 04:21, 8 January 2023 (UTC)

Block message:
Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Rachelemg". The reason given for Rachelemg's block is: "undisclosed paid editor".
- Blocking administrator: Jimfbleak (talk • blocks)
Decline reason: Procedural decline; not autoblocked, you are blocked directly as an undisclosed paid editor. Once you answer the questions below, you are free to create a new unblock request! Yamla (talk) 12:07, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
I tried t disclose this on my first attempts but i didn’t know it was a code requirement. This is all still so new to me and i am struggling. Can some one help unblock me and then teach me how/where to disclose “paid contributor” or what is needed. The forum can be confusing. Rachelemg (talk) 18:40, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
- WP:COI explains how to disclose this. As you are blocked, you can't edit your user page but you can do the disclosure right here and someone can copy your disclosure across. --Yamla (talk) 18:43, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
- Note also that you probably should avoid any further editing in subject areas for which you have a conflict of interest. Do you plan to edit in other subject areas? --Yamla (talk) 18:43, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
- This site is heavily coding faced and it can be confusing on where to place or find things, my apologizes.
- What do you mean other areas? This page existed before and I was just hoping to get i reinstated again but couldn’t so I tried to make a new one. The first time I thought I had disclosed it but I guess it wasn’t in the right place. The second time was source related so I was hoping to fix the source and disclosing only to be blocked. Request reason:
I am trying to fix my mistakes and disclose being a paid contributor, things were not clear to me and I have been issues trying to understand and correct my mistakes Rachelemg (talk) 20:38, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
One open request at a time please. — Daniel Case (talk) 07:37, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use require that editors disclose their "employer, client, and affiliation" with respect to any paid contribution; see WP:PAID. For advice about reviewing paid contributions, see WP:COIRESPONSE.

- You need to let us know who paid you and which articles are involved. Perhaps, just Feldman Automotive Group and Jay Feldman. Also, what do you plan to write about other than Jay Feldman and the Feldman Automative Group, if anything? --Yamla (talk) 18:55, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
