Referencing Production Codes

I did it before and no one had a problem with it and it showed that every production code is referenced. I would rather wait until the full season has production codes listed for the entire season with the same reference before we put it in the top column. Having some episodes listed with one in the header and some with another (like Eric Dean Seaton's Reference) it doesn't make sense. I'll edit other pages I've done with the full season's referenced in the header (Victorious Season's 1 & 2) but it's best to wait until the Season has all the episodes production codes listed with the same source then we can put it in the header. - Alec2011 (talk) 20:17, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

I have no problem with putting them in the header, but I do think it's best to keep it listed until the season is over or until all production codes are listed with one source. Such as with the iCarly page for season 5 if we move it to the top, people will just add them without looking at Futon Critic then it's more hassle. Once they are all listed then it's safe to move to the header. Trust me, I'm with you on the references going to BB, BC.... over used, haha. - Alec2011 (talk) 20:25, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

iCarly Production Codes

Would you consider these to be reliable sources for the production codes of "iStill Psycho" and "iBloop 2"? iStill Psycho: [1] and iBloop 2: [2]?

Thanks I wasn't sure :D. - Alec2011 (talk) 21:49, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

Ratings?

I don't think I'm wrong but how can I stop this vandalism? The reference states, the movie had gotten 4.1 Million viewers on the premiere date and 13 million total views for the whole weekend (Saturday & Sunday combined). I would think only the "premiere" ratings should count and not the whole weekend if I'm correct? I keep changing it (and added a hidden message) but those "IP's" keep reverting it. - Alec2011 (talk) 19:28, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Harry's Law

File:Harry's Law - Intertitle.jpg Can you upload a new logo for the series? The gun is not shown in season 2. Thanks -- LAW CSI (talk) 17:39, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

How To Rock Reference Removed

I know it's good to remove the reference once the episode has aired but the "Eric Dean Seaton" reference you removed from here should not have been removed. That reference is used for the production code as well. I re-added it in the production code line. Just letting you know to check the "Eric Dean Seaton" credits in the |Rtitle= section in case they're also referencing the title & the production code. - Alec2011 (talk) 01:38, 27 March 2012 (UTC)

Hmm, I guess I did not think about that. It makes sense now. I actually think that's a pretty good idea. At least until most of the Production codes are added then we can add them back but I think it will cut down on Vandalism of people just adding them as well. Should this go for ANT Farm as well? There's 17 episodes with the production code but the last one was in November. - Alec2011 (talk) 19:23, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
Okay sounds good. I assume I would just "hide" the production code line and in the header and put a hidden note not to add it back until there are more production codes to add. - Alec2011 (talk) 21:10, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
Done! If anyone is having a problem (or reverting it), they should bring it up in the Talk Page. - Alec2011 (talk) 21:29, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
I agree as well. It'll help with Vandalism and especially on the Austin & Ally page there were 3 out of 15 episodes. It makes sense until most of them are listed at The Futon Critic. I do believe that Nick and More could be a reliable source as they do get their information from Disney, but of course they cannot release the information so they are unreliable by Wikipedia's terms. Luckily The Futon Critic does post them as most other websites have decided they are not important anymore. - Alec2011 (talk) 21:44, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
I agree. I miss how you didn't have to buy the episodes on iTunes to see the production codes. Oh well, I guess we'll have to wait for The Futon Critic to finish adding them. On other shows, they are pretty fast but it seems for others, it can take them forever. - Alec2011 (talk) 22:24, 27 March 2012 (UTC)

Pilots for Consideration?

Do you think the Pilots for Consideration section on the List of Disney Channel series really necessary? I think if the show is announced or as a "projected" premiere date it should be listed but those pilots have been considered but I think only if they get "picked up" they shouldn't be listed. I feel they are not necessary to the page. - Alec2011 (talk) 21:25, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

Sounds good. I just think there's no point in having it. If they get announced that's a different story it they are just filming a pilot, then we don't really need to post it. - Alec2011 (talk) 21:57, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

Michael Stevens

Hi - I see your change to further delineate this person. With all respect I think this is not correct for this individual. As the cited references confirm, he operates in many entertainment disciplines. He produces live events as well as the TV specials made of those events. He produces movies. He has produced a Grammy-nominated album. He also happens to be an award-nominated writer and director. Titling him as simply a "TV producer" is just not an accurate descriptive. Further, there is no other producer (music, stage or movie) with his name - so there is no need to disambiguate him from other types of producer. May I respectfully suggest that in light of this that we revert the descriptive to "producer). Thank you Davidpatrick (talk) 03:02, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

Cara/Kara

Kara Stanton's name actually is spelled with a K. In the opening of the most recent episode we saw data on Reese and Kara scroll onscreen, and could see the spelling of her name. List of Good Luck Charlie episodes

Thank you for making this edit. That's been driving me crazy for quite some time now. Kevinbrogers (talk) 18:28, 7 May 2012 (UTC)

I've thought about doing that to all of them as well. Articles like this are so much better than articles like this. I was afraid that some of the more extreme fans of the show would attack me for removing the unnecessary stuff (like songs and the other stuff you mentioned), but it seems like people are okay with your edit at Good Luck Charlie. I'd support you if you want to go ahead and remove all of that stuff for the other shows too, and I could even help with some if you'd like. Kevinbrogers (talk) 21:36, 7 May 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Ringer (season 1)

Hello QuasyBoy. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Ringer (season 1), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Redirect gets more than 400 page-views per month, so it's still a useful redirect. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 20:56, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

The article Dennis Capps has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A 1st or 2nd assistant director on TV shows is not inherently notable. Only wrote a few tv episodes. No independent and reliable refs go into detail about him.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. List of female film directors

Yes, I am aware that the List of female film and TV directors exists. I think there's a problem with having all female directors lumped there, without regard to the medium, and I brought it up on the Talk page of that article. I also added female film directors to the List I created, who were missing from the list of female TV/film directors.OttawaAC (talk) 21:12, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

I will now create a List of Female television directors. It just makes more sense to me if they're separate -- overlap is no biggie, since it isn't very many directors in that situation.OttawaAC (talk) 22:32, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

Allison Scagliotti

Hi. As far as I've been able to tell, Allison Scagliotti has never had the surname "Smith". If we are going to add this claim to her article, then (per WP:BLP) it needs to be substantiated via a reliable source. While it is true that several articles about Allison Scagliotti in non-English Wikipedias use the name "Allison Scagliotti-Smith", this fact alone is not usable as a reliable source for including the name here. (Indeed, it appears that the "Allison Scagliotti-Smith" name in other wikis may have been the result of spurious information put into her article here, which was blindly copied to other wikis before it could be corrected here.) If you do have a reliable source substantiating the "Smith" name, then by all means feel free to add the info back to the article (but cite the source as you do so). Thanks. — Richwales 18:23, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

Organization of POI recurring characters

Got a question for you. What would you think if we were to add some sub-headings in the POI recurring characters list and group the CIA and HR characters away from characters like Zoe Morgan? It's not typically done, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be done, and it would certainly add some clarity. Were I working on an academic paper on the topic, it's the first thing I'd do when discussing the cast/characters. (The second would be an analysis of the logic behind CBS' schedule of reruns, but never mind that.) --Drmargi (talk) 01:23, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

Hey, buddy! Go take a peek and see what I did. The descriptions of the clusters of characters are a little rough, but they'll come along. Would you add anything else or move anyone? Alicia and Ingram might make a third cluster if one or two more characters pop up; we might also want to add Will Ingram, although he's only done two episodes so far. What think you? --Drmargi (talk) 13:22, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

Paris Hilton

Hi QuasyBoy,

A user has posted a concern on my talk page in regards to Paris Hilton article, which I have since added to my watchlist. It seems that EricaL2003 (talk · contribs) has been mass adding gossip-magazine style material to the entire article which goes against WP:GOSSIP. I have left a notice on Erica's talk page making her aware of manual of style, and that this is an encyclopaedia project not a gossip column in a magazine. Looking at the recent correction that you have also made, I fear that the same user may have removed the category in the process and it hadn't been noticed/reverted back. If Erica continues to add gossip material, should we need to take matters further? Wesley Mouse 22:54, 18 July 2012 (UTC)

I would like to know why you thought it was up to you to redirect and remove the season pages. The content is in the season pages for a reason. Please do not touch this page before setting up a discussion for such a huge edit that caused a lot of damage! B.Davis2003 (talk) 01:10, 23 July 2012 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) QuasyBoy was perfectly within his rights, and correct, in reverting the season splits, per WP:SIZERULE and because there is no content beyond what is in the main article. It was your responsibility to initiate a discussion on the list article talk page, and not make accusations of vandalism. --Drmargi (talk) 01:20, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
Thank you, Drmargi for agreeing with me. At this point there is nothing with all the episode list content being on one page. Splitting the article just for the sake of slitting it is senseless. QuasyBoy (talk) 01:24, 23 July 2012 (UTC)

Oops, my bad!

Sorry about the revert earlier, your edit changed the text to "Hello, my name is" and I have seen a lot of vandals type messages like that before. My apologies. AutomaticStrikeout 00:54, 22 August 2012 (UTC)

Clare Peploe

Hi QuasyBoy - sorry, when I reverted your addition of birthplace Tanzania, I didn't intend to revert the categories you added too. However, I don't think she can be considered a Tanzanian artist. The sources don't give her nationality, just her birthplace in Tanzania (anachronistically) or Zambia (which also didn't exist as such until 1964) and later residence in Kenya and England and Italy; she's probably British, but possibly also Italian, of course; however I'm not aware of any sources to confirm that one way or the other. Frozen River

Frozen River isn't a movie set in Quebec. It has a few scenes in Quebec, that's all. The bulk of the movie is set in several places on the New York State side and the St. Regis Mohawk reservation. As far as I know, it's the only movie set up there, but there should be more because the rest of the country should learn about the very strange legal situation with the border reservation and the serious lawlessness that that status has caused. It's grand central there for smuggling, especially when the river is frozen. Can we not have categories of one? Chrisrus (talk) 04:25, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

Removal of templates

Why did you remove the About templates on the "Spider-Man" articles? If someone went to the wrong article, there should be a note directing them to the correct article (and the disambiguation page). Allen (Morriswa) (talk) 04:36, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
