Do you have an objection to the way i have the list of Detroit 1-8-7 episodes set up? [1] (my last version) Tracer9999 keeps saying that the references for the episodes do not support the air dates listed. I am just baffled here because tracer9999 has apparently no objection to the titles, writers, and directors from those very references. Or to my summaries for those episodes. I have had it called crystal ball violation, original research, and not-supported-by-reference. I am trying to get the article to GA and the ep list to FL. Am i missing something? I am getting very frustrated by this because it comes and goes - few days here then nothing for weeks and back it comes again. How can someone object to one little thing and claim a comment which contains a a reference itself be original research..... yes i am even referencing my hidden comments! Am i right to be loosing my mind over this or does it make sense to you? delirious & lost~hugs~ 06:13, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

I have centralised the discussion about referencing of Detroit 1-8-7 to Talk:List of Detroit 1-8-7 episodes#the 14th & 15th episodes and as one of those who has regularly edited the list i am inviting you to participate in this matter. delirious & lost~hugs~ 06:49, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (File:Eminem - StraightLabEP.jpg)

You've uploaded File:Eminem - StraightLabEP.jpg, and indicated that it's used under Wikipedia's rules for non-free images. However, it's not presently used in any articles. Wikipedia policy requires that non-free images be either used or deleted, so if this image isn't used in an article in the next week, it will be deleted.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 10:49, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

Hi,

On the iCarly page, there has been a change that incorrectly links the 2011 Young Artist awards at the bottom of the awards section. The correct link has been changed to one that links to the 2008 awards (link #19). If THIS link is used, it will show the correct page.

http://www.youngartistawards.org/noms32.html

I would fix it myself but I don't have access.

Thanks so much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alynns (talkcontribs) 00:21, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:MySo-CalledLifeCast.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:MySo-CalledLifeCast.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude2 (talk) 06:06, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

Zap 2 It info

I must be defective or something, but I can't seem to be able find writer/director info on Zap 2 It. Where exactly is the link for that on an episode page?? KnownAlias contact 19:28, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Hello. I have declined your speedy tag on this page because you are not the only author of the page. Also, per Wikipedia's CC-BY-SA license, edit history must be attributed. So your creation of Dennis Rinsler and Marc Warren with the exact same content without actually moving it violates this. Don't you think that having two pages with the same content is a bit redundant? Wouldn't it be better to just keep the Dennis Rinsler and Marc Warren page? GFOLEY FOUR20:31, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:DavetheBarbCast.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:DavetheBarbCast.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. SchuminWeb (Talk) 04:19, 20 March 2011 (UTC)

Hi!

How did I miss that? :D Heh, heh, it's nice to come across your username again. While I'm here, I've given your account the new file mover userright to help you rename badly-named files if you come across them (you've done a load of image work...over 1600 edits to them, and your images have good names). How have you been? Acalamari 21:44, 29 March 2011 (UTC)

Hey, you're welcome, and thanks for the compliment! I'm sure you'll put the tool to good use. I've actually been back fully since January, but from June-December I edited for a bit with my alternate account as I wasn't on my own internet during that period. It's really good to be back...and I'm glad you're still around! Acalamari 21:55, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
That's good to know! Sadly, it seems that many of my friends and other people I've known from 2007 have either left or are rarely active. :( It's a relief that you're still editing frequently! Acalamari 10:16, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

Hi QuasyBoy

Hi there. We haven't chatted before, but we edit many of the same youth TV show and younger star's pages. It seems the Davis Cleveland (from Shake It Up) page is now in some trouble. There is an editor here on Wikpedia who routinely marks any/all pages of interest to younger readers for deletion (without ever once attempting to contribute anything to them), and he is now determined to get the Davis Cleveland page deleted as well. I'll be honest - I've crossed paths with this editor before, and in the interest of following Wikipedia's code of conduct, I'll just say that I'm not a fan of his editing practices. I'm contacting you here to ask if you know of any reliable third party sources (interviews, reviews, etc.) about Davis Cleveland that can help to establish his "notability", that you please add them to his page, or else, if you're busy, you can just tack the link onto my talk page and I'll be happy to add it to his article. I'm sorry to bother you with this, but I know you're another reliable editor who monitors many young star's pages and can appreciate that the stars of Shake It Up are most certainly "notable" to the Disney Channel viewing audience demographic, but Cleveland, being an 8-year-old child, simply does not get as much coverage as the older teen stars of the show. I realize that there isn't that much coverage of Cleveland in a lot of "reliable" news sources (I've done my best to add everything I could find - and this editor has tried to delete every source I've added so far), but I'd hate to see his entire page deleted because middle-aged men (who most likely have never even watched the Disney Channel) don't find him "notable" enough, so if you know of any sources that can help keep his page from being deleted that would be great. Thanks --- Crakkerjakk (talk) 20:03, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I didn't even link you to that long pointless thread on Cleveland's talk page, since I didn't want to bore you with all that drama. I'd come across SummerPHD's edits on other pages before and simply avoided direct confrontation with him and tried to fix whatever "problems" he decided there were, but his deleting all but one single source from the Davis Cleveland article page and then turning right around and tagging the page for deletion claiming no "notability" because there was only one "primary source" was finally the last straw (he'd actually tried to tag the page for "speedy deletion" the day before and when an admin came in and told him "no" and took the tag down, that's when he decided to turn around and remove all the references to see if he could get it deleted that way). I actually understand that there should be guidelines for "notability" here (IMDb is a more appropriate place for simply listing a lesser-known actor's credits), but I've noticed there is a clear bias among the older men who edit here against the younger stars, simply because they don't think they're "important", so they decide they shouldn't have a page at all. Anybody who is young (or has children or grandchildren who are young) knows Davis Cleveland is one of the LEADS on Shake It Up, and as I cited on his talk page - the show has now been confirmed as the #1 cable show of ALL TIME aimed at 6-14 year olds. I just think that alone establishes "notability" under the "common sense" clause within the Wikipedia guidelines, but I've found that rarely holds up once some 50-year-old here decides they're not interested in a 9-year-old, regardless of however many millions of teens and pre-teens watch them every week. Anyway - I'm sure you know all of this already, but if you do come across any "notable" sources, talk shows, interviews, etc, with Davis Cleveland (or if you know somebody else who might know of any), please add it to his page or just drop the link on my talk page and I'll be happy to add it to the article page if you're busy. Thanks. --- Crakkerjakk (talk) 22:02, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

None of the references you posted show or say anything about production starting in Summer. The video only states the series is in pre-production. The show also has not reference for a Fall 2011 premiere. Not sure where your "Summer" sources are coming from. - Alec2011 (talk) 21:46, 10 April 2011 (UTC)

Alexis Fields

Hi QuasyBoy! Unfortunately, as far as I'm aware, Mrs. Fields' consent for the article alone is not enough to overturn two DRVs that endorsed the deletion. I haven't participated at DRV for a very long time, but I expect a rationale against her saying yes to creation would likely be "appreciation of her consent, but that it doesn't make her more notable". Sorry about this. Acalamari 20:29, 18 April 2011 (UTC)

You're welcome. Sorry to not be of more help on this one. :( Acalamari 20:36, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, that probably sometimes is the case, and I'm pretty sure "the article looks bad" is not a valid argument for deletion. I suppose in this case the best thing to do is to add sources to the userspace version as they become available. I hope Mrs. Fields won't be too disappointed at not having an article just yet. Acalamari 21:10, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
You're a very kind person. :) Keep up the good work! Acalamari 21:20, 18 April 2011 (UTC)

List of Shake It Up episodes

Hi Quasyboy, I'm just dropping a note to ask you to please share your opinion about an ongoing question regarding notations about guest-stars, absent main stars, and general "notes" on the List of Shake It Up episodes page. I'm not asking you to agree with me - Just that you share your opinion on the talk page (if you have one), since I see someone has re-added the information that another editor has repeatedly removed, and I want to get as much input as possible to try and resolve the issue before the disagreement escalates. Again - I won't be offended if you disagree with my assessment. I'd just like your opinion on the subject since I know you're one of the editors watching the page whose opinion I respect. Thanks  :-) --- Crakkerjakk (talk) 06:36, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for taking the time to add your opinion. I pretty much agree with you on the issue - whenever I'm basically 50/50 on a question like this I usually vote to keep the info. I don't have strong feelings about it, but my main reason for wanting your input was that I see a dispute brewing between good faith editors, so I just wanted to get as many opinions before it turns into an editing war. Thanks again. --- Crakkerjakk (talk) 07:35, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
Not a problem, at all :) QuasyBoy 19:38, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

I have corrected the spelling mistake that prevented this image from being used on the relevant page - The_Boy_Who_Cried_Werewolf_(2010_film) - and removed the orphaned template. However, I think the licensing needs looking at - the image can't be both a poster, and a screencap as is claimed by the current license. I don't know the source, so can't do anything about that. Cheers. a_man_alone (talk) 17:18, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

Nomination of Alexis Fields for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Alexis Fields is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alexis Fields until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. King of 03:53, 6 May 2011 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on File:The Story Of Us TS.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F10 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file that is not an image, sound file or video clip (e.g. a Word document or PDF file) that has no encyclopedic use.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ww2censor (talk) 04:27, 6 May 2011 (UTC)

Hot in Cleveland

Hi QuasyBoy,

I just wanted to call your attention to where I got my info from.

I usually check Zap2it's listing site and not MSN TV where you got your information from. On Zap2it's site, they announced all 12 episode titles with air dates, synopsises and guest stars. This is where I found out about Charles Shaugnessey. He's listed on the bottom of the listing as guest starring in the episode "How I met My Mother". You can check it out yourself at this link.

http://affiliate.zap2it.com/tv/hot-in-cleveland/episode-guide/EP01259931

The "Untitled" episode is apparently a clip episode.

btw, did Illeana Douglas ever appear in the first half of the season? I know everyone else did.

I hope this helps in understanding where I got my info from. 65.94.246.123 (talk) 13:37, 7 June 2011 (UTC)samusek2

OK, I clicked on the link to "How I Met My Mother" and I see Charles Shaugnessey now. About Illeana Douglas, she actually hasn't appeared in an episode yet, But I just figured I'd keep her name there at least until the season is done. QuasyBoy 18:33, 7 June 2011 (UTC)

Please don't do cut-and-paste moves, like you did at the above page. Because of Wikipedia's license, it needs to be obvious where content came from, usually through the edit history of the article. When you cut and paste an article to another title, you obscure the edit history. Please either use the move tool yourself, a {{db-move}} tag for obvious cases, or requested moves for less obvious ones. Cheers. lifebaka++ 21:27, 12 June 2011 (UTC)

iCarly Season 4/Season 5

Hey, I just wanted to ask you a question about the iCarly episode page. I seemed to be a little confused about the seasons. I know that the production season is behind the actual airing season starting with the third season. Dan Schneider said that the continuation of the episode "iOMG" continues in the "new" season. Wouldn't that mean Season 5 (airing-wise)? Or is it continued in the same season of "iParty with Victorious" (Season 4)? If "iLost My Mind" doesn't start a new season, then I would appreciate it if you could explain to me why. Thanks. WikiMaster500 (talk) 05:27, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

Hi. A new user recently uploaded an "updated image" over the photo of Lisa Lopes you originally uploaded back in '07. I'm not well versed in image policy, but I figured that since the "updated" photo was completely different it probably should be uploaded on its own instead of piggy-backed on the one you originally uploaded. Either way, I attempted to revert but I reckon I messed something up as I'm still seeing the updated version in the article. Would you mind having a look when you get a chance? Thanks. The reason that films were not allowed in the first place, because of the amount of stars in it, is invalid in this situation. I only listed the films in which she is credited as the star or co-star. I see no problem with them being listed in her template. nding·start 20:09, 1 August 2011 (UTC)

article Frances Scholz

Dear Mister, I just want to ask, if it is possible to give the page free? Or is there still something to edit out? A lot of greetings. Annemarie Kauffmann (talk) 22:22, 30 August 2011 (CET)

re: A favour

Hi QB. Sorry, I've not been ignoring you, just got back from Canada at the weekend, so I've not had a chance to look at this yet. Will do so in the next few days. Thanks. Lugnuts (talk) 09:12, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

I was basing it off find the Big Machine Live albums and other Live album categories which is why I started the Category:Taylor Swift live albums. Plus it's really unknown but she may release more in the future. She's got 3 already but two don't have pages. JamesAlan1986 *talk 20:30, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

About that, it was cause they fit the category as they all have to do with Taylor Swift. LOL! JamesAlan1986 *talk 20:39, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

Okay? Didn't see that anywhere but I'll take your word for it. JamesAlan1986 *talk 20:44, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

You go ahead and remove them I'm getting ready to have dinner and I'm kinda busy on something here. JamesAlan1986 *talk 20:54, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Okay thanks. :) JamesAlan1986 *talk 20:57, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

When you get done can I get your opinion on this? JamesAlan1986 *talk 20:58, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

Writers?

Since you're so against having the Jessie page without breaks, explain then on a page you edited all the time (The Suite Life on Deck list episodes page) that pages uses breaks put you won't let Jessie? I just duplicated that, you didn't seem to have a problem with them on that page (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_The_Suite_Life_on_Deck_episodes&diff=414835758&oldid=414750367), but now you do? Contradict yourself much? - Alec2011 (talk) 23:11, 7 October 2011 (UTC)

I don't just come on Wikipedia to "Edit Disney Channel shows" you seem to do it a lot as well. I do edit pages outside of Disney, but I'm a fan of the channel so I follow a lot of things online and if people are putting things on the pages that don't exist or add information with sources I revert them as you're suppose to do. I don't remember what we fought about I know one was production codes, but I'm over that. Sorry if I upset you in any way, just wanted a reason as to why you reverted something you did before which is why I started a discussion. As to my page, No one visits my pages, I make them for me, they aren't taking up any official page on Wikipedia, but they are on a page that doesn't receive a lot of visits. I've gotten some warnings to take down some pages so I've removed them. You can have anything you want on your talk pages. - Alec2011 (talk) 03:57, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
I know I saw and deleted it and a lot more of them. I actually found I can basically do the same thing in Excel so I'm moving everything there and off of Wikipedia. As for the future, let's just try and work things out and be civil. I'll try and discuss it more instead of reverting right away. - Alec2011 (talk) 17:34, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
You know I can see what you say about me on other people's Talk Page's correct? So you recanted against what you said because it stretched out the height of the writer's box here? It looks fine the way it is, but there wasn't a "Certain" way to do it before as you said "Ampersands have to be used because others are using them" when it's just what looks good on the page.

Line breaks makes the columns smaller width wise than stretched in my opinion and you don't seem to like them in your opinion. I don't think changing the other pages to match was really necessary as the series are over and done with and it was more work for you. I would like to thank you for adding the Teleplay and Story by to the First Hannah Montana episode :). I was going to add them because someone did not include them and they needed to be there but I saw that you had added them already. I wasn't sure what happened and why they wasn't added.
About this, as you stated: he gave a ridiculous excuse that previous series that were produced by Pamela Eells O'Connell used this method?: [2] I meant it as we should probably use the same method to show consistency. I did not mean it as She wants to use them. It was solely for a consistency issue. - Alec2011 (talk) 16:48, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
