Category suggestion

Hi there, I've noticed at articles like Draft:Damir Filipovic and others you're using some generic ones like Category:Scientists or Category:Mathematicians - these are generally to be avoided as they aren't for individuals, but are just container categories for more specific ones. More specific ones like Category:Swiss scientists or Category:Swiss mathematicians are much better, and/or even more specific ones if appropriate. Thanks. :) Also I'd personally avoid using ORCID as an external link, as it's better when integreated with authority control. Keep up the good editing though! -Kj cheetham (talk) 17:04, 18 January 2021 (UTC)

Thanks Kj cheetham for the useful comments. I shall adopt the categories accordingly. Have nice day! Best, Quaenuncabibis (talk) 07:19, 19 January 2021 (UTC)

Infoboxes

Hi @Quaenuncabibis: How goes it. I notice that your using Infobox Academic. It might be better to use Infobox Scientist. The layout of the properties for education and fields are better purposed for European scientists. For a European scientist, the education property would contain the University and the Fields property would contain the actual fields he worked in, e.g. Physics, Fibre Optics. The alma mater field is only specific to North American universities and I think Japan, although I'm not sure. It would be ideal if you could go back and fix it. Thanks. scope_creepTalk 11:56, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
