Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Section 1 (NYSPHSAA) into Draft:Section 5 (NYSPHSAA). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 15:48, 18 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Kobe Bryant, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Specifically per MOS:GEOLINK, the larger geographical unit, in this case the state, is not linked. —Bagumba (talk) 06:37, 6 September 2022 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Section 5 (NYSPHSAA)
[edit]Hello, Purpetic. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Section 5".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 19:17, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
ECD Lacrosse moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, ECD Lacrosse, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 11:23, 15 May 2023 (UTC)

Skip Bayless birthdate
[edit]I'd say that the tweet cited is on shaky ground due to:
1. WP:ABOUTSELF, which specifically says claims may not be about third parties. If Bayless had sent this tweet himself—i.e., "I'm celebrating my birthday"—it would be fine.
2. There is zero mention of what month and day his birthday is, and certainly no mention of the year you added.
3. Also removed the unsourced birth city you added. Rift (talk) 02:03, 26 August 2023 (UTC)
- No worries now—I've added a reliable source for both birthdate and birthplace. Rift (talk) 02:17, 26 August 2023 (UTC)

[edit]A cup of coffee for you!
[edit]Hello,
Thank you for your contribution to presidential election. In my view, it will shape America and the world. Regarding the inforBox photo, I would like some feedback on when and how we can finialize the RfC. It started in April 2024, so it's been quite a while now, so I hope we can replace the photo.
