- Hi,
- Didn't mean to self-promote. But the edit reflected fact on what had transpired. Feel free to conduct due diligence.
- It would be nice for the public to know how much technology had went into the design of this building and the company that provided this technology. Professional-1970 (talk) 06:21, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, as per explained on Justiyaya's talkpage, your edits looked like promotional edits to promote the company. Your reply here indicate you do wish to promote the company here, in your own words, It would be nice for the public to know. As a followup, are you related to the company, either working for the company, any association with the company or paid by the company to do promotional work? If yes, we will like you not to edit the article directly but via edit requests (Do see WP:COI for more information on this). Thanks. Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 07:00, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
- As a followup, the links you provided does not indicate said company provided said services to Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, which failed Wikipedia's policy of Wikipedia:Verifiability. Also, Wikipedia would prefer a secondary source to provide said information. Thanks. Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 07:07, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
- The CFD simulation performed on LKC School of Medicine was considered very high end engineering, performed by Doctorate holder. There were very few companies in Singapore that could deliver it in 2016. Because of this, it would be nice for the public to know that much effort in term of technology had gone into this building. That's all it means, not for promotional. And my contribution gives credit to where it is due. Simple as that. I don't blame you for not be able to appreciate the sentence that I had contributed because unless you are in this industry, you would not understand the technology involved. Therefore, you simply dismissed it as promoting the company, hence, simply excluded my contribution.

- 5th picture from the top, left side, it says Singapore LKC School of Medicine.
- The only secondary source available is commercial contract which is protected by NDA thus cannot be disclosed. Professional-1970 (talk) 09:17, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
- I like to apologize for missing out in my earlier search, I probably typed the words wrongly. Unfortunately, what you said falls into what we categorised as promotional. While this is a primary source, this is not likely to be accepted as a source for inclusion in the article. Based on what you said, it is likely you have a conflict of interest (COI), and likely to be in the employ of said company. That said, since you skipped on declaring whether is there any possible COI, I strongly suggest you to follow the guidelines on Wikipedia's policies on COI. I am going to post a notice here shortly, where there are better links about COI, so do not be alarmed. Also, I appreciate if you can ping me by using similar format which is done by Justiyaya on Justiyaya's talkpage. Thanks! -- Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 09:42, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
- Yeah lets just discuss this here, closed the one on my talk. Would like to add that Wikipedia usually tries to avoid primary sources, like the company's website. If you want to include the information, it requires a reliable, secondary source. Additionally, if you have a conflict of interest to the subject (which you most likely do) please do not edit the article directly but instead request an edit on the talk page of the article. If you want to continue editing Wikipedia, please read the notice below or our plain and simple conflict of interest guide, thank you. Justiyaya 10:37, 12 July 2022 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Professional-1970. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 09:43, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
