When creating redirects, ensure they are mentioned at the target articles
[edit]It appears you have recently gone about creating redirects that are not mentioned at their target articles. Redirects can and frequently are nominated for deletion (sometimes tagged with speedy deletion notices) for not being mentioned at their targets and therefore not valid.
For example:
- Deadstar 2, which you pointed to Smokepurpp#Discography. It is not mentioned there.
- Rich Dunk, which you pointed to DaBaby. It is not mentioned there.
- Srem4Life, which you pointed to Rae Sremmurd. There is a mention of "SremmLife 4", but not a "Srem4Life" at the target.
Please insert reliably sourced mentions of these at the targets or I will nominate them for deletion promptly. Thank you. Ss112 16:27, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
Response
Listen man, I don't know where you live but it is really late where I am. I will try and add reliable sources tomorrow, so don't mark anything with speedy deletion.
Cheers,
PlayPus2 21:03, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
- "Listen man", you still haven't inserted mentions of "Rich Dunk" at DaBaby or "Srem4Life" at Rae Sremmurd. If you can't find sources for them or it's too "late" where you are again, then I'm tagging them for deletion. You should not be creating redirects before you can find sources for them anyway. Second response
I just added a reliably-sourced mention of "Rich Dunk" at DaBaby and moved "Srem4Life" to "Sremm4Life" then added a mention of it at the target article. I hope this solves the problem.
I'm sorry if you took offense at me saying "listen man" and stating that it was "late". It was not my intention.
Best wishes, PlayPus2 21:33, November 11, 2019

[edit]Your draft article, Draft:Tickets to My Downfall
[edit]Hello, PlayPus2. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Tickets to My Downfall".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 05:51, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
Response
Hello, UnitedStatesian. Thank you for informing me of the draft page's status, which I did create planning to work on while the mainspace article had still been a redirect. However, it seems that the article's redirect template has since been removed and an article on the topic was created without being submitted to AfC, rendering my submission useless. Had I known, I would have nominated my submission to speedy deletion much sooner.
Best wishes. PlayPus2 (talk) 07:19, 15 February 2021 (UTC)

[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Template:My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy track listing requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2015 March 26. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. – Jonesey95 (talk) 14:35, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
